I love both the first and now this farm upgrade game, plus the garden games. The art is wondeful, such a refreshing change frm the creepy, overly fussily painted hidden objects games on the websites. The characters are okay, don't really help much. I do wish there'd been a better variety of design choices. Maybe even a choice of which farm animals go in there and where they go. Don't think I'd keep cows so near where I kept vegetables and fruits--but it is only fantasy (and I know that cow and those chickens don't ever mess the place). It was fun but over far too soon.
I recommend this game!

I've been trying to get gold on the hard level all sections but have kind of gotten in a rut--keep playing the same unachieved sections over and over, I get close (ACK! I just need 3 more seconds!) but no cigar. I've been working on this for--a year? I did get the easy and the medium levels but haven't been able to master the hard level....yet. Gives me something to do while I wait for a new Time Management game to come out. Some of the levels I cannot get do not come with those nifty time-freezing clocks (some do and it still doesn't seem to matter). It's a good game, more sophisticated then some of the other T.M. games (I've pretty much given up on My Kingdom for the Princess 3).

It took me a while to figure out who does what and that those bad guys' hovels need to be demolished. But the game is a pretty good time management game--have played 3 times so far. I do not like the "extra" games--they don't make much sense to me since there's no real goal to achieve. I skipped the story (I always do, I don't care what the story is since it doesn't affect game play and onlly wastes my limited time). Also like that you can complete a level even after you've run out of time so you can try different ways of doing things to try to shave off some time for next time around. Wish there were a way for the good warriors (or someone on our side) to build barriers to prevent the baddies from getting through--would help on some of the levels, maybe make barriers a reward that can be used only once or only on the last level or something.
I recommend this game!

I didn't find this game as challenging nor as engaging as the first Gardenscapes. Also didn't like the redecorating choices offered. There didn't seem to be as much interaction between the guy and other people as in the original. I thought the guy was the butler...where are the owners??
