If you've been disappointed in recent ERS output like I have, you will find some hope in this game. It is creepier than most of their games, but still has the animals that ERS does so well. This game is thankfully free of the weeping children that populate so many of their games. Like a typical ERS game, however, it is a very short CE and surprised me at how fast it was done. It hurries through the plot also, for instance despite the name there isn't a lot of content featuring minotaurs. You do need to play the bonus game for full resolution of the plot. The HOS and minigames are well done and a little different. Love that I could turn off the voices and music. I also really like how ERS has a difficulty level that turns off the leading black box comments, wish other developers would do the same! Got it on sale, which always makes me feel a little less cheated by the length.
I expected more out of this game for some reason. It has an average number of HOS and less minigames. There are many opportunties for minigames that are missed. There is a map to jump around. The Strategy guide doesn't tell you how to solve minigames, otherwise it's okay. The plot is interesting but poorly developed. I don't think this game is as good as it's predecessors, it weakly ties in to the Grim Tales story. I'm not sorry I bought it, but not wowed. At least it's a decent length. Buy it on sale.
This is a good HOPA, even though the plot is not totally original, it seems fresh. There are wonderful creepy touches throughout the game. HOS are good, not too hard but nicely in the theme. Only things lacking are a way to turn off the voices, and the leading black box comments. You have to ignore them if you want any challenge at all. Game is a decent length,Bonus game fits the plot too.
This is a fantastic creepy macabre scary game! Definitely on the darker side, not for kids. The graphics are gothic, dark and macabre (these are good things to me). Can't comment on music or voiceovers cause I always turn these off. Good HOS with authentic items. Minigames also have that gothic twist. Good CE length and bonus game is just as good and blends well with the regular game. Highly recommended if you like gothic games! Way to go Silverback hope you make more like this! And hope MCF goes back in this direction soon.
I recommend this game!

Reality Show: Fatal Shot Collector's Edition
After a man is murdered on a hit reality TV show, you are called in to uncover the truth behind the crime.
Another typical ERS game, rushed, sloppy and not fully developed. I'm running out of words for their games: ho hum, run of the mill, etc. So many little mistakes, for instance apparently they don't know the difference between clockwise and counterclockwise. This is pure adventure and minigames, there are no HOS. The instructions for the minigames are poorly written, several times I had to look at the strategy guide to figure out what to do. It starts out like it might be creepy and interesting, but soon slogs down into a rather dull journey. Also, you, the detective, must be pretty bad at your job because you get so much help during the game from other characters there is little to figure out. At least on "advanced" (which is strangely ranked harder than "hard") there are no sparkles or annoying black box hints. You can turn off the music and voices, which is always a plus for me. It's really short, and the bonus game is also super short. Definitely not worth the CE price.
Louis the Clown and Mr. Dudley are back in an all-new adventure! Travel through the dark corners of history's most famous fairytales to rescue children trapped in a frightening netherworld!
Despite my irritation that the developers released this with a MAJOR flaw that took a week for a fix, I have to say this is a pretty good creepy game. Not at all cutesy fairy tale, and not for kids. Very heavy on HOS with some minigames, a few that are different. Played on the hard mode and the HOS scenes actually didn't have sparkles!! Unfortunately there is no way to turn off the voiceovers, so I made good use of my mute button. A minor complaint, I am really tired of saving children (and having to mute their annoying little voices) in these games. Can't we save aliens or something?
I recommend this game!

Found: A Hidden Object Adventure
After a crash landing, you find yourself stranded on a secret island. As you explore you will meet pirates, discover ruins and so much more in this thrilling Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure!
Not sure where this game came from or why it is "free". Of course, like many cheap/free games there are ways to spend your REAL money incorporated into the game. It is a below average hidden object game with easy adventures and tasks. Maybe it's for kids, but the flight attendant dressed like in a ridiculously revealing outfit is only for teenage boys.
This is a little grittier version of Beauty and the Beast, which is a plus for me, I don't like cutesy fairy tale games. It's not too scary or creepy though. Plenty of HOS and FROS, puzzles are the usual and on the easy side. You will play the same scene 2 or 3 times to find different objects, but that doesn't bother me. Too bad there are sparkles even on hard mode. Black box comments lead you way too much, so I tried to ignore them. And this game has a map that allows you to jump from place to place, love that! Nice that you can turn off the music and voices, which I always do, so can't comment on those.
This game is full of HOS, so you better like them if you play this game. Personally it has too many for me, just HOS after HOS after HOS. Especially at the end of the game when you have to collect some items, you end up running through all the HOS you played before. There are a few minigames, the usual. Graphics are fine, nothing special. Story isn't very well developed, but you can follow it easy enough. Not at all scary or creepy. Would be an okay daily deal or on sale, but not worth full price.
This is a very good CE, lots of things to do, not too many HOS. The length of the game makes it well worth the money. You can turn off voiceovers (always a plus for me). The graphics are pretty and a little like DRAWN games. Nothing scary or creepy, but still fun. Things to improve for the next game: 1.it still runs very slow (I have windows 7 and a fast computer) 2. There needs to be more than 1 game mode. It's really easy to find items you need and to play the HOS. 3. The bonus game is fun, but limited to a short time period with no way to play non timed.
