Don't be misled by the 5 star ratings. I couldn't even finish the demo. I found the game play to be extremely boring. No continuity to the game, felt choppy and confusing. Some tasks/HO were not clear and despite being an experienced HOG player, I had to use the hint button or just do a lot of clicking. Graphics were not appealing and the storyline was too simplistic. Play the demo for yourself but I'm betting you won't buy this game either.
Become a detective, solve crimes, interrogate suspects, and find clues.

Not great but not horrible. Really like the concept, get the clues and search for the answers, solve the crime.
The screen needs to be easier to maneuver around. Zoom in, zoom out, scroll around. If you have a trackpad instead of a mouse all of those movements are annoying.
I have played similar games that were well developed. This game needs some technical work.
Definitely worth playing the demo then deciding on the purchase.

After playing a portion of the demo, I had to quit. Did not have fun playing, found several mistakes in the clues (ex: the clue was CHILLY and the hidden object was a red CHILE) and the puzzles were mundane.
I just can't recommend this game any further past the demo. Save your money or club points.

I have no complaints with the changes but I would have preferred more of the old game play. The balloons or whatever they are, were a bit tedious/annoying especially on LEVEL 37 which I am still trying to finish.
I bought this without playing the demo because of the Laruaville reputation but I do agree with another reviewer...I will play the demo on #15 before buying.

I am a big fan of DO games but I couldn't even finish the demo. Most of the games/puzzles needed more explanation. Playing the locations was boring. What little I played, I wasn't impressed with the storyline. Guess I didn't get far enough to understand the stars that you got by picking the right answer. And could they have made the item bar at the bottom any shorter?? DO you need to go back to the drawing board. This game was a big NO for me

It's been quite a while since we have had a hidden object game that is worth spending your time on, not to mention purchasing. This is the best game Elephant has put out in a long time. Other developers need to follow suit and step up their game
I recommend this game!

(based on demo) this was fun to play but there are too many tabs and tasks. I prefer the typical TM game. Definitely play the demo before you buy.

With every game Elephant releases in this series, it just keeps declining in fun, skill level and storyline. The characters have become flat and boring. This used to be such a fan favorite with a high if not 5 star perfect rating. While I didn't dislike playing it, I don't recommend purchasing this game.
Elephant, bring back Richard and the interesting storylines and maybe the ratings will improve.

I've played all of these travel HO games and this is the worst. Nothing about it depicts Hawaii...scenery, music, animals not native to area. We may as well have been in Topeka Kansas. Dumb storyline (thanks for the skip button) and horrible graphics.
What is it with these developers and the swipe and paint?? I'm not 7 years old.
The only good thing about this game were the facts, some of which I didn't know.

Very long game and lacked the level of interest or fun to justify the length. OK game, there are worse out there but definitely much better games. I didn't find the graphics impressive and the storyline was too repetitive and bland. Too many puzzles for me (skip) some with poor and/or wrong instructions. Play the demo first but it's doubtful you will be clicking that buy button.
