That's really all I need to tell you. After reading the reviews on day 1 I thought surely they had done away with the bubbles. I wasted download data on this. Level 1 those darn bubbles. Uninstalled. Just get rid of those bubbles!
One of the best. A true classic with very few power ups and difficult board layouts. 120 levels with a pyramid structure to build.
Think of this as Jewel match at it's finest. Back at the beginning when it was all about the play of the game, and no castles to build or rooms to move around and around.
There are no burning coins here. Just hours of jewel tinkling, diamond gathering fun!
All I can say to those low ratings about not being able to queue up actions is YOU MISSED out on a great, really great game. This was so much fun. I sure do hope they come out with another one.
Super hard to get 3 stars. There is fishing, sailing, canon battles, searching for buried treasure on every level. There are krakons to defeat, volcano fires to put out. The graphics and storyline are hard to beat, and I have to say this is probably the first storyline I ever watched all the way through.
The mini games are excellent. Just a fun filled fantastic game.
What a nice, solid TM game. I rarely ever follow a storyline, but this was really cute, and I admit I got a kick out of it.
There are 40 levels in this game. I played on relaxed for the most part because I work from home at the same time, and jump on the game during breaks.
I like rescuing the workers. You get 3 per level. I found myself choosing the wrong direction a few times, and although you can eventually finish, you end up waiting on supplies. So yes this is a TM game, and if you play on expert, I'm sure you would need to choose your selections carefully.
The graphics are clear, bright and colorful. Normally I play a few levels and quit, but I kept wanting to play though my work schedule ;)
All in all, a nice TM game. Hope they make a sequel.
I'm not sure why this developer gets bashed so harshly. Maybe you either like their games or hate them? I like them. Crown of the Empire and Day D. Good games. No the graphics aren't as smashing as some TM games.
This game is a nice TM game. It definitely has strategy. I had to restart several levels to end up going in the right direction. I don't mess with the strategy guide. I like to figure it out on my own.
Let me clarify some misinformation in other reviews. The coins are for building the manor house. The coins have nothing to do with how much time you get.
Also this is a TIME MANAGEMENT GAME. The point is to manage your time wisely. I had no problem at all getting 3 stars on every level. I only missed two levels getting 3 stars the first time. Follow the layout on each level to see what you need.
The motivational speaker does what? Well he motivates. What does he motivate? Your workers in your factories. When you send him to a factory your workers produce more products.
As for why a glove van? Well why not? How is that any different than some of the silly items on other TM games. It's a game, not real life. Use your imagination. Yes sometimes they veer off course, but that's what's fun about it. And for why is there no food? I think it's kind of refreshing to have a game where we don't build 20 farms or burger joints.
Now go out and have some fun. Play this game with an open mind. You might like it.
It does take a few rounds to get used to the game play. You slide the rows to match the pieces. It also allows for very intricate matches. At the beginning for maybe 10 levels it will help you find matches which I found annoying. However after 10 levels the hint matches disappeared, and then in later rounds I wanted them back.
You get powerups with matches of 4 or more. Plus there are 10 powerups you can buy with coins and upgrade them. You will have to use the powerups in later rounds or you won't finish.
Another reviewer said it's not challenging. I disagree. This game is as hard or easy as you make it. There are 3 goals per level. You can simply clear the board, and be done. Or you can try for the other two goals as well which are gathering a certain number of pieces or making intricate design swaps.
This game was well designed with difficult layouts, super bright colors. The screen will be small as you will need to click off of full screen for clarity. You can also choose timed or untimed adventure mode.
I disagree with Pennmom. This is NOT like Claws & Feathers. I've played C&F all three many many times. This is a glorified chain match game. It looked so promising, but the whole thing falls flat for me. I don't like chain match so maybe that's why I just couldn't warm up to it. A cat killing fruit? There is really not a lot of strategy to it like Triple Town or Pocket Forest, although it is similar. Basically you just slide around the board slaying fruit.
The graphics were what convinced me to download and they are nice. Story is lame. Music is appropriate. Game play is easy.
Give it a try if you like chain match. It's not for me.
Tim is a cat. Tim loves fish. Draw a line from Tim to the fish.
Kindergarten workbook game. I would definitely call this game more of a puzzle game or puzzle/match 3 hybrid.
The music is lifeless.
Automatic matches don't count.
When you make a match of 4 or more you get a bomb. It makes a lot of noise and sparkle, but it does nothing. Seriously it puffs away a few tiles, but it's more annoying than helpful. It doesn't clear rocks or any obstacles. Eventually I just clicked on them to make them go away.
You collect coins to build Tim's hideaway in the barn. It has hidden object puzzles and matching puzzles where you match 1/2 of an item to the other 1/2.
It has some unique features not seen in other games where magnets pull objects away so you can clear the grass.
Overall I will recommend this game. Try it you might like it, but it's just too dull for me.
I really only downloaded this game because so many complained about the tools and level 7. I wanted to see what was up with that.
Then I discovered this was an e-fun soft game and I don't like their games. I hate the bubble exchange where you choose the piece in the bubble, and I do not like games that don't give power ups for 4 or more moves.
To get the tools in this game you have to upgrade the town and buy them from the shop. A screen will open, and the 2nd choice is tools. After a couple rounds you will get enough stars to buy tools. Then the power meter will fill up during a round and you can use the tools you have purchased as many times as you can fill up the meter. The big bubble is a timer, nothing to do with the tools.
Music is decent, story is good. Layouts are ok and you can make more moves while pieces are falling. Not earning power ups for 4 or more moves is a deal breaker for me.
Something oddly satisfying about demolishing fruit. It has most everything you could want in a typical match 3 game.
You can create your own power ups, or earn power ups.
It has intricate levels.
It has the typical obstacles like fog, vines, monsters, etc
You can choose timed, limited or relaxed moves. And even with limited moves it gives you 50 moves for a level.
The graphics are colorful and bright.
Building the islands is based on earning a star per level. Finish the level, earn the star. The story is cute. I appreciate the fact that you don't have to "worship" anything in this game. You collect totems to give to the island protector.
You can change from limited moves to relaxed without having to restart from the beginning.
My biggest complaint was that the music can't be turned down. It's either on or off. It can be annoying and repetitive.
If you are going to try this game, do yourself a favor and compete the entire 1 hour demo. Don't just stop at level 5.
