Review based on trial period only.
I'm sure reviews of this game will be VERY polarized; I, for one, loved this "slashing" type of game when I first played video games in the 80's... games like "Gateway To Apshai" comes to mind.
The graphics are GORGEOUS, with an art style combining paper/origami and top-notch computer animation.
Games like this (and the 2D role-playing games from years ago) rely very strongly on the story; here, the voice-overs seem fantastic. It's a game genre rarely found on BFG, so I think many people will be turned off by the volume of reading/listening and will simply want to go-go-go and play the quests.
I'm not sure what the "casual edition" monicker applies to this release (compared to the "standard" edition.)
I spent my hour listening, exploring, slashing, learning about cards (typical games use weaponry, armor, spells, etc.) and LOVED it.
I'm worried that if I buy this I'll just sit for hours at a time and be completely submerged in this game. HECK YES!!!
No doubt about it... I'm buying this!
Please give the demo a chance; I think people who enjoy adventure games will find something interesting here if you stick with it at LEAST 20 minutes to learn the basics.
I recommend this game!

Review based on completed game (about 9 hours on my first journey of 80-or-so levels.)
The story is great as you travel through multiple countries to try and travel around the world to win a bet.
The grids are small and typically straightforward, with the tiles easy to differentiate; there is only 1 mode: TIMED, and you earn extra lives as you earn points.
The key to beating the game is to recharge your "tool" (it has multiple stages) by making matches of 4 (or more) tiles; during my 1st journey of "80 days", I only lost 1 life, and I'm not particularly talented; I did have many close calls. Levels get progressively more difficult and the higher challenge begins in India. Just when I thought I completed the journey and the game to be over, I could start ANOTHER journey: the story and the grids were the same as the 1st journey, with the added obstacle of rocks that "block" matches.
Unfortunately, you have to go through the same story/dialogues (and click "skip dialogue") if you don't want to read the same screens again.
There doesn't seem to be a limit to the number of journeys (I'm approaching 99 of them) and you keep accumulating points and lives as you go along... you don't start back to zero. I deducted a star because journeys 2 and beyond are IDENTICAL, but it's a fun match-3 game.
Played on my Windows 10 PC without any issue.
I recommend this game!

Review based on completed game (about 19 hours of play in “Story Mode” plus another 15 hours for the “Extra Puzzles”, without second attempts.)
WORLD MOSAICS 3 has the same features as the original, without any changes, except of course for the story; you'll play nonograms divided into 2 menu sections, both of which sharing the following characteristics:
- No difficulty setting
- You solve in monochrome, but the image will become colorful and with a label once resolved, and quite recognizable especially once converted into a thumbnail
- There is a clock showing time spent, but there is NO LIMIT or penalty
- You don’t “earn” anything other than opening additional grids once solved; no stars, no points, no coins, nothing to buy or upgrade
- You are allowed a certain number of mistakes and hints before failing a grid
- You cannot save your progress while in that grid but your progress is saved once solved; you can replay any previously solved grid to improve your performance
- There is no “cell counter” as you drag
- There ARE crosshairs that highlight row/column as you move your pointer
- Numbers in borders will be crossed off one by one when you’ve resolved from an edge of the grid
Menu Option 1: “Story mode”, which will open the “Extra Puzzles” section once sufficient progress is made. It has a narrative for each grid once resolved; there are 12 sets, each based on a fairy tale in which your character plays a role:
- Fairy Tale 01: Frog Prince (3 grids 5x5 + 11 grids 10x10)
- Fairy Tale 02: Magic Ball (10 grids 10x10)
- Fairy Tale 03: Hansel and Gretel (15 grids 10x10)
- Fairy Tale 04: Babe The Blue Ox (9 grids 10x10)
- Fairy Tale 05: Rapunzel (14 grids 15x15)
- Fairy Tale 06: Anansi (7 grids15x15)
- Fairy Tale 07: Cinderella (14 grids 15x15)
- Fairy Tale 08: Little Red Riding Hood (14 grids 15x15)
- Fairy Tale 09: Monkey King (15 grids 15x15)
- Fairy Tale 10: Sleeping Beauty (7 grids 15x15) + 7 grids 20x20)
- Fairy Tale 11: Punchkin (15 grids 20x20)
- Fairy Tale 12: Snow White (15 grids 20x20)
In summary, 156 grids (3 5x5, 45 10x10, 71 15x15, 37 20x20); I was able to resolve all of them using purely logic (no guess, no mistake) EXCEPT for 14 of them where I needed a hint to avoid guessing.
Menu Option 2: “Extra Puzzles”, which has sets based on themes instead of fairy tales, distributed as follows:
- Set 1: “Fruit” (10 grids 10x10)
- Set 2: “Hand Tools” (10 grids 10x10)
- Set 3: “Halloween” (10 grids 15x15)
- Set 4: “Candy” (10 grids 15x15)
- Set 5: “Bugs” (10 grids 15x15)
- Set 6: “Office” (10 grids 15x15)
- Set 7: “Fish” (10 grids 15x15)
- Set 8: “Safari” (10 grids 20x20)
- Set 9: “Space” (10 grids 15x15)
- Set 10: “Houses” (10 grids 20x20)
Fewer extra puzzles than WORLD MOSAICS 2, with 100 extra grids this time around (20 10x10, 60 15x15, 20 20x20) for a grand total of 256 puzzles in this release.
I found the 15x15 grids to be the most challenging overall, despite having about half the cells compared to the 20x20 grids (225 cells versus 400 cells). I didn’t use as many hints as in the previous release, which means that either the puzzles are designed better, or my skills are improving!
Played the game using my Windows 10 PC without any issue.
I recommend this game!

I admit I have the previous 7 installments, and this BREATHTAKING SEOUL is being released while I'm still playing the BERLIN game (#7).
Needless to say I'm partial to most nonogram games, especially when "guessing" is NOT required.
Just to add to the detailed comments of another reviewer, you can change the appearance of:
- the tiles you mark as FILLED by clicking on the button to the RIGHT of the "Custom Cursor" feature in the Options menu;
- the tiles you mark as DISCARDED by clicking on the button to the RIGHT of the "Dark background" feature in the Options menu.
At the pace these releases are coming out, will I need to buy another suitcase before my next trip ?!?
I recommend this game!

Review based on sample version.
… something special, like this game, comes around. ADERA seems to combine features from adventure games like the NANCY DREW series with the graphics and clever exploration like MYST; it's like going thru a time warp from 20 years ago, but in a GREAT way.
I'm not sure this game can be played in a single "sitting", but it sure is immersive; the cutscenes and voice acting are great, and I was disappointed when my trial was over.
This is a DEFINITE buy for me... I hope it includes all chapters and is not split into multiple purchases like SYBERIA (which was another GREAT game in this genre.)
PS: You might want to check out another gem from the same devs: it's called "SECRETS OF ARCELIA ISLAND"!
I recommend this game!

Review based on completed game in TIMED mode (there is also a RELAXED mode which has no time limit).
Everyone has a different opinion of how long a game should be to be "worthy"; GARDENSCAPES passes the bar for me as it took me 6½ hours to "complete" (that means buying all the upgrades to the garden); you can keep playing afterwards if you like and still earn money. I would estimate having gone thru over 200 scenes.
There are 15 different rooms, which means each is visited many times; many of the objects are relocated plus the list of 20 items for your customers also changes.
The objects are crisp, and the scenes typically well lit.
Try it for 1 or 2 scenes and you'll get a good sense of what the game is like; as with every game from this developer, graphics are bright and fun.
Played on my Windows 10 PC without any issue.
I recommend this game!

Review based on completed game in a little over 3 hours (no hint, no skipping dialogue or mini-games) in "Regular" mode; there is also an "Expert" mode.
What a GREAT story/adventure THE CURSE OF OZ is: the voice-overs are perfect, varied, with some great characters who travel with Dorothy and will each play a small part in the adventure. Victor Vile, the bad character who hinders their journey, is acted marvelously.
Though I really enjoyed ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND, this game has some nice improvements; as in the 1st game, the mini-games are varied and generally with just the right level of challenge for me: not super easy, but not very hard either. Some do require strategy, which are my favorites. The "Hint" button becomes the "information" button and clearly defines the objective.
The HO scenes are much clearer than in the 1st game so I didn't even feel the need to use a hint.
The CURSE OF OZ can be enjoyed by anyone still young at heart. There are sparkles to guide you, LOTS of HO scenes, and a map (but you can NOT jump using it). There is less back-and-forth this time around, which is mostly used to "assemble" pieces of an object that is needed to make progress... like a ladder.
Played using Windows 10 without any issue!
I recommend this game!

Completed game in both "untimed" and "timed" modes.
It took 5 hours to complete the 50 levels in each mode. Your objective is to earn enough points to advance to the next level. In TIMED mode, you get 10 lives but only lose a life IF you decide to SKIP a level; you CAN replay a failed level WITHOUT losing a life.
The tiles contain food (mostly various sushi preparations) which you must match in groups of 3 or more in order to fill out your customers' orders. Besides their food order, they will occasionally ask for a side of wasabi, ginger, or a nice cup of tea.
You earn money (the happier they are, the more you earn) to buy upgrades and, every 10 levels, a new restaurant which serves more expensive (and therefore more rewarding) dishes but also require more earnings to pass the levels.
Even in timed mode, I did NOT focus on what the customers' dishes were: I made matches looking at the board, but provided them with their "sides" as promptly as possible; I did lose some customers, but did NOT fail a single level.
Not a click-frenzy game, but you cannot relax either if in timed mode.
ASAMI's SUSHI SHOP is original by combining M3 and TM elements and charming; playing a couple of levels will give you a representative feel for the game.
I had no issue playing it using Windows 10.
I recommend this game!

Review based on entire 1 hour trial period in HARD mode (4 levels)
This is the 3rd installment; the 1st, "Happy Kingdom", was a MAJOR disappointment. The 2nd effort, "Happy Empire", was released 5 years ago... it too had major flaws, especially when compared to some great "gather resources" TM games out there.
A BOUQUET FOR THE PRINCESS is very elaborate, with a LOT of things going on but mostly, a LOT of ideas "borrowed" from other games to increase the challenge: repaired pits that break repeatedly, a dog you can hire to remove the ghosts that scare your workers, a wizard that steals resources AND slows down workers, buildings you can upgrade which will also increase the speed of your workers, etc.
I also wanted to see what happens when you run out of time in "timed" mode... the answer: you only get 1 star, but you CAN move ahead.
It's unfair for me to judge a new game solely based on first impressions because I don't know what happens later on... I found they removed the flaws from the earlier releases and combined many features from different games into this one. Yes, it's busy (especially with all the animation given to characters and buildings), yes it's complex because there are a lot of things that can be done besides the "simple" collection of resources and removal of obstacles.
There is 1 thing I didn't like (more like a pet peeve): the voice-overs don't say what the speech bubbles contain, and you'll need to pay attention as you click thru the dialogues to "see" how it progresses because the "old" bubble from the other character stays there.
I give the devs credit for the effort they put in to improve this game; this will be a buy for me, mostly because of all the extra features in gameplay itself.
I recommend this game!

Review based on completed game in just under 4 hours (no hints or skipping dialogue; includes a 10-minute penalty for skipping 1 minigame: the keyhole with the gavel).
What a GREAT story/adventure this is: the voice-overs are perfect, varied, with some fun characters. The mini-games are varied and generally with just the right level of challenge for me: not super easy, but not very hard either. I admit I gave up on solving the keyhole mini-game for the door with the scales/gavel after about 10 minutes of trying.
I deducted 1 star because some of the objects in the HO scenes are simply too small to identify; I chose to NOT use any hint throughout the game, so for people with a knack for those, you could probably play the game in about 3 hours.
Sure, you have to help Alice defeat a vilain, but there's no "evil" or demons; I believe children that know the original story will enjoy playing this game, especially since the objects are named properly.
There are sparkles to guide you, LOTS of HO scenes, and a map (but you can NOT jump using it). Some back-and-forth, but locations are arranged such that you only need to travel short distances.
I'm off to play the 2nd adventure: "THE CURSE OF OZ".
Played using Windows 10 without any issue!
I recommend this game!
