What an unusual twist on the Sudoku game. Loved Latin Squares, Played demo on easy just because I didn't know what to expect. Loved the game because you could also switch over to traditional. The options were great and overall thoroughly enjoyed this version of Sudoku.
I recommend this game!

Arrange numbers on the game board so that the numbers 1 through 9 appear in each row, column and 3x3 block. Sound easy?

I really like the ease of playing this particular sudoku game. The music was not overly annoying and you can change the tunes and turn it off if you so desire. The level one was a little too easy but as I was playing the demo, it worked fine. You can also change color of background, size of font and how the game is presented. I liked not having to type in the numbers and the pop up for what number you wanted made it easy to select. (That can also be changed) All in all a good game and worth the credit.
I recommend this game!

I really enjoyed this sequel. As I own and have played the other 3 multiple times, this one starts out very well. Didn't come close to finishing the demo as I got involved with the puppy that the trophies are centered around. There are some morphing places but nothing that you can collect. The story begins with you being on the wrong train to Redemption Cemetery. You have been brought there intentionally to free the spirits that are trapped. Hira is holding you dog hostage until all of the ghosts are released. There are medals and toys to locate for your puppy which you have to name. I particularly liked the letter on the opening page that is addressed to you from ERS. The visual was well done and on the dark side (you are in a cemetery, what do you expect). The mini games are not bad and the hidden objects are not hard to find. You can keep your raven helper charged by solving the puzzles and can recharge as often as you like even if you don't use full power each time. The strategy guide was well done, and the map is interactive. The music was good and the voice overs worked well. Definitely a buy for me. If you liked the other Redemption Cemetery games you'll enjoy this one.
I recommend this game!

This game has it all. There is a journal to follow the story, with a list of objectives and an interactive map. When I check out the extras it listed the achievements, Castor's creatures (morphing objects#, collecting whale bones, wallpapers, concept art and Arthur's journal. The strategy guide was helpful #that's where I found out about the whale bones) and only included the first two chapters, which I actually completed. Unable to tell how many chapters there will be. There are three levels of play: casual, expert and hardcore. Played on casual as usual and had some time left. When two items connect, it does it automatically ie the fishing line and lure. The storyline was good. One twin trying to rescue the other. Not sure why octopus wants Vera as what he wants from her isn't put forth in the first two chapters. The map was very helpful as there was a lot of going back and forth. The hos were well done and seemed to have more items that needed interaction to get item. The games were not difficult and were appropriate for the flow of the story. The music and voiceovers were good, not annoying and liked the fact that voices and dialogue just about matched exactly. The game was overall well done and am anxious to purchase to finish. Especially since I can get another collector's edition for only 1.99. This game is a definite recommend.
I recommend this game!

This game was a lot of fun. The characters were believable, the dog was really cute. Finding gold coins, question marks, cameras and thermometers added to the locating of the other objects in the scenes. It was fast paced and the items were not hard to find. Then take the money you earn and redecorate the yard. It's not for everyone but had a good time playing the demo.
I recommend this game!

I loved Empress 1 and 2 and in fact bought 2 without even trying it out. I had interruptions when I started this one, but started over and understood what was going on. Jacob is back, thought we were done with Pandora but obviously not. I got lost trying to follow story and am totally confused about what is going on. This has never happened before and as I wanted to purchase this as soon as I saw it listed, I waited until I tried out the game. Now I'm questioning what to do.
Now that I've said that, the detail and beauty of the art if more that fabulous. The voices and cutscenes were well done and the music was just right. There are three levels and as always I did demo on casual. I check everything out at the beginning of the game on the title page. Could not check out bonus stuff, could not access strategy guide and no information about catching cats except what I read in reviews. I'm still not sure what to do about this game, but definitely try it as the hos were good, and just right difficult. The games were rather simple and hope they get a little more difficult as the game progresses. No achievements and have questions about morphing?
I recommend this game!

This collection's edition has a little of everything. The strategy guide shows 2 chapters, so of course not sure how long the actual game is. There are 10 achievements, 7 sets of collections, 66 beyond objects to collect and the normal extras in a collector's edition. There are 4 levels of play beginning at casual and progressing. I played normal. The game was intriguing and the hos were interactive, but a little cluttered with junk. The map is also interactive and one can move from place to place. This was a fun game with mini games that were not difficult, even a little on the easy side, they may get harder as you go on. I was a little disappointed with the visual as it seemed a somewhat over crowded with stuff and a in some places it was fuzzy instead of crisp and clear. That may have been intentional, but kind of annoying on the hos. Didn't need the strategy guide, just checked out what was on it and it seemed well done. It was a pretty good game and I did enjoyed the mystery of what was happening in the theater with the gathering of souls, but then questioned how the first audience disappeared and this one still in it's seats. Who is the mysterious projectionist that you are being warned to avoid? Need to try to decide if you like.
I recommend this game!

I only gave it four stars due to no achievements and no morphing. Now that I've said that let me say that I lost track of time and was shocked when I ran out of time in the demo. I don't remember any games that I've played by C2D. I found the storyline intriguing as it specifically is based on "true events". It takes place in Kisilova where the first documented vampire events occurred. The game had two levels of play, casual and expert. The hint button filled at a fairly decent rate. Totally forgot to check the strategy guide, so I obviously didn't need it because I was able to follow without it. The journal includes a map with specifics of where you are, where you need to be and what has activity that needs to be done. The music was unobtrusive and fit well with the storyline. Speaking of the storyline, it flowed well even if there was considerable chatter, which in fact helped you know what was building as you talked to each of the characters you meet. The art was beautiful. The hos were period specific pretty much, but some of the items were on the smallish side but they were laid out where the such was not difficult. The mini games were your standard, but fit also into the scheme of things. I found the game very enjoyable, perfect for an early morning Easter quiet time.
I recommend this game!

The puppets are back. This one is as well done as the others (all of which I own). The artwork and music are beautifully done. I keep forgetting when I play one of these the inventory is not across the bottom. There are three levels, which I played casual on the demo. The location of items are not difficult but the hos are a little more difficult. The cut scenes flowed well with the game. I found myself a little creeped out having my own puppet helper, especially when he smiles then goes back to being serious. I didn't really check out the strategy guide because I didn't need to use it through the demo. There were no achievements, but you do need to locate 10 dolls throughout the game. The storyline was a little different as Felicia seems creepy at times after the first meeting as if she is gradually becoming evil. Mini games were different but again not too difficult. Hour went too fast and definitely was drawn into the story. Good play for Puppet Show fans.
I recommend this game!

I enjoyed the previous game, Phenomen: Cyan. This game was its equal. There were no achievements or morphing objects but the amulet with it "powers" was a nice addition. Also, the map was very nicely interactive with its main locations and sublocations with hints of where you needed to go. The hos were not very difficult and the associate finder which was a fill in the scrambled letter association was different and unusual. The art and voiceovers were very nicely done and talking characters matched very closely to what the sound was. Did not finish "demo" within the 60 minutes (got a little frustrated with the deity mini game. The instructions were a little vague of what needed to be done when the game first opened. There are two levels of play, casual and expert. The journal also had replays of the cut scenes if there was need to go back and listen again. All in all it was a well done game and the time passed quickly.
I recommend this game!
