This is a typical match 3 game in which you match girly items (shoes, make-up, lipstick, etc.) 3 or more times to turn the "quilt" over. Instead of destroying tiles, you want to change them to a very pretty peach or blue color, making up the quilt.
There are no discernible bonuses that I saw for getting matches of 4 or more. Periodically, a purse will open in the bottom right of the screen. Click on the purse FIRST, then select an item on the board and away it goes, into the item. A great way to get rid of an item stuck in a corner or something. Clear the board quickly and get an extra life - they will come in handy as you level up.
There are hindrances as well. Sewn items - just match them up with their like items. Hammers - don't get them to match 3 or more because they'll reverse the color of the board and you'll be matching in that spot again. Although, sometimes I found it's easier to match the hammers and quickly make other matches in the same place to get that board turned.
Hammers and sewn items can go into the purse as well. YAY.
Now, the purpose of all this matching is because a friend of yours has called with a fashion emergency. On the way to her house, you shop til you drop and every time you complete a level, something about her changes. Her figure is standing head to toe on the left side of the game board.
My dislikes about the game? Only one. I played about 15 levels in the free hour demo and this girl had changed her appearance perfectly. Do we work on her for the entire 100 or so levels or do we go to another person's aid. For this reason, it won't be a purchase for me.
I think this would be great not only for lovers of match 3 games but tweens and teens who like fashion forward games.
Happy Gaming!
I recommend this game!

Create pictures by filling in blocks using a grid of numbers on the top, side and bottom of the game board.
This game had nothing fascinating about it. Each "page" (10) has 12 sub-levels. You can receive up to 3 golden stars depending on your progress. Make a mistake, lose a star.
There are 6 levels, each with 20 sub-levels. There is no difficulty mode. No story line, just a few cut scenes wherein we're supposed to guess what's going on. The only thing Jurassic I saw was the background and you could change your tiles to include a dinosaur. Yay.
It's a typical Mahjong game with everything I dislike about this type. There are 3 stars you can achieve during each sub-level. Finish in "x" amount of time. Get "x" number of special (gold) tiles and earn "x" number of points.
Very disappointing and definitely not a purchase for me. Only recommending so you can give it a try before you buy.

This being called "Jurassic Mahjong" I expected some prehistoric something or other, at least a dinosaur or two.

The story line is weak. Find a jewel (ruby) and beat out the current "Big Man Captain". And, you play a woman.
This is a timed game as well as being "timed" by success in completing a level. Miss a level and you lose a life.
Game Play has an interesting concept. There are rows (containing 5 each) of colored "stocks" (barrels). These rows of stocks are constantly moving to the right and disappearing off the game board. Your job is to complete the "mission". For instance, make 5 rows of stocks. This is not a click and pick game but a drag and place game. So, you might have 3 red stocks, 1 green and 1 blue varied vertically. Pick up the stocks that will make 3 in a row. I'm assuming vertically because there was no indication that horizontal rows (in addition to the vertical row) would gain any bonus, etc.
The game has no tutorial. I believe there was a help page. The concept is just to continue making more and bigger stocks. My dexterity for drag and place games is nil so this game, besides being boring, is not a purchase for me.
I recommend it only so those who want to try something different can.

This is a game of time management and strategy, of which I am horrible at both - but I had the best time playing this game.
You have a game board that looks like a honeycomb with various items on it. You have to match 3 or more items by switching them. If you did it right, there will be blasts of explosions going on faster than you can keep track of. But, remember, this is a honeycomb board and not straight vertical and horizontal.
As you level up, there will be pesky mice everywhere making your deletions on the board return. Yikes! Click on the a few times to kill them. Seems excessive but then they're little black mice flitting around - LOL.
There's also a casino you can go into and play with the money you earned in the matching game. There are games such as poker, 21, roulette and more.
Also with earned coins you can upgrade your establishment (where your game board is) with lights, dancing frogs, etc. Tons of fun.
What I dislike is that this is a timed game only and I don't do well with timed games. Even with the pesky mice I would have loved the game in a relaxed mode of play. For this reason, unfortunately it will not be a purchase for me. Just can get past the levels higher with a timer. So sad for me.
For others, please try this unique and fun little game. Where has BF been hiding it?
Happy Gaming!

A dog owner comes into the Shop (Dress Up Pups) and discusses with you (the proprietor) how the dog should be dressed and/or accessorized. You give the ok and then you're off!
There are 2 modes of play - timed and relaxed. I played on relax. The graphics are hand-drawn cartoony but they're meant to be that way.
Then the games begin. You play match 3 games of various sorts (swap, group and string) and when you complete the level you get 2 or 3 jigsaw puzzle pieces. Put those pieces together to unveil the "dressed up pup". In the meantime, between levels, there are pictures of the cutest pups you've ever seen.
Now, a few things about the game I didn't like. I don't like any other type of match 3 except swap. I don't have the dexterity or flexibility to do "string" and I don't care for "group". So, I wish we had the choice of which game we wanted to play as we earned them all.
I wish we could at least pick out SOME of the items the pup is going to be dressed up in. It seems a shame that all we get is a cartoon picture of it all done up as the computer dictates.
Unfortunately, because of those reasons, this will not be a purchase for me but I recommend the game to match 3 lovers, jigsaw game lovers, animal lovers - well, I guess that covers a lot of people - lol.
Happy Gaming!

I didn't even play the puzzles after examining what the game had to offer. Nothing.
There are 7 countries to choose from, 13 pages in each country, 4 puzzles per page. You do the math. There is a TON of architecture, a few puzzles of that country's specific tourist sites but nothing that would make it "human". No dancers in bright costumes, no flowers, where are the animals????? I love animals? Nothing to give each of the country's their own ethnic flair. Very disappointing.
Not a purchase for me and cannot recommend this bland discourse of horrible puzzles. What a waste of time and money,
I don't recommend this game.

I seem to be playing and reviewing a number of 2 - 3 star games this weekend and I'm wondering if it's me or are the games being offered that mediocre?
Along comes another seafaring quest to find something somewhere under the ocean blue. In a very unique way of playing match FOUR.
That's right - match FOUR. There are a variety of emblems on the game board scattered about. But, instead of switching or grouping or what have you, you are GIVEN a grouping of a variety of emblems in which you must place onto the board to make, somehow, a grouping of four, whether it be four in a row horizontally or vertically or four in a group. Just four of the same items. You can also make groups of more than 4 but you get no special bonuses for doing so.
Bonuses are given between each level, so you don't really earn anything.
There are 2 game modes, "timed" and "quest" which was untimed. Guess what? The only difference between the 2 modes is one is timed and one is not, both tell the seafaring story of the quest. I didn't figure that out until I got bored with the "quest timed" side of things and tried the "untimed" one.
Not my cup of tea. Nothing to earn. Just a story told by a narrator in a voice that could put you to sleep. Not a purchase for me and only recommending so you can try the unique way of playing this game. Yawn. Oh sorry.
I recommend this game!

In reading all the rave reviews (10-5 star reviews out of 11), I found that this game seemed a lot like a movie I loved called "Cube". Wow, how great that someone made a game out of the movie.
Then, I read where the game was a puzzle sliding game and became a bit wary because I don't like them, not good at them. But, go big or go broke, I tried it.
Not like the movie and not a puzzle slider game. In fact, I found this game so boring. I quit after I don't know how long timewise, because I got so many technical problems trying to get out of it and uninstall it. I can tell you I quit at Room 305.
Game-wise, however, many issues.
The story line is weak. Some person shows up in a comic strip type "block" and complains of it being their birthday and they're tired of playing puzzles all day. Opens front door to find a surprise package from someone unknown to "him"(?). Opens envelope that clearly states "open it and you begin". Duh. You open the present, see something regarding a puzzle game and are sucked into it.
Next, there is a book, called "book" who is supposed to be your guide, leader, instructor (?) but gives no discernible info. You can click on "help" and "book" opens up with some info - not much, but I couldn't get it to close. No "x", no "close", nothing. What a trial that became as I had to "restart" the level.
The "person" is in a "block" of a room. There are several more blocks around as well. Plus, a lot of empty space to move these blocks around in - so, no, not like a slider puzzle that has 1 open block of space. Move the blocks so the "person" can get to the exit. There are many, many "bonuses" - for want of a better word - to assist with getting to that exit door.
I'm not brilliant (mensa-wise anyway), I don't do strategy or logic games. This game had no entertainment value for me at all. No purchase and definitely no recommendation.
I don't recommend this game.

This is one of the most relaxing fill it in games I have ever played.
The graphics were good. The background music was so relaxing. It could put you to sleep if you don't watch out. LOL.
The game play was not easy at all. However, the first 2 or 3 levels did have a short tutorial to introduce you to the mechanics of the game. There were levels that had 20 sub levels. You could receive up to 3 stars for completing each sub level. And even though you were asked if you wanted to continue if you lost, you can't, because the next level is locked.
If I hadn't accidentally fallen asleep for a minute or two while playing the game, I might have purchased it. But Ii don't want a game that's going to lull me to sleep with the melody. LOL. I do recommend it for anyone interested in this genre of game play.
Happy Gaming!
