This struck me as a very old-fashion type game with no voice-overs, cut-scenes, custom cursor, or animation. Two levels - beginner and pro. I played pro. The scenes were timed, and there was a click penalty. Lots of sparkles everywhere. About the only good thing i can say for the game is that it catered for wide screen. The hidden object games were junk pile. I forced myself to play the full hour in the hope that it would improve - which it didn't. And in that time I saw no real story or plot.

This game had the potential to be great...but fell short. Lovely graphics, voice-overs and cut-scenes. But the game didn't cater for wide screen, which ruined it for me. Also there was a lot of running around, which normally doesn't bother me, but with this game there was long waits between scenes, which became very frustrating. The storyline sort of made sense, although the ending I felt was missing something. I knew who was good, who was bad etc, and wasn't captivated by it or wondering what happens next. The puzzles were generally standard, and some provided a challenge. The hidden objects were easy. There was click penalties, but not unreasonable. There was no hidden bonus items, or achievements to earn. The length was passable. I think if this game was wide screen then I could have ignored its other failings. Whilst I definitely recommend it, I wouldn't rave about it.

Stunning graphics, good voice-overs, lovely cut-scenes. Catered for wide screen, and ran smoothly. The hidden object games, and puzzles were easy and offered nothing new. Also the hidden object games had inner tasks, but only for the first half of the game, which was odd. The were no achievements, or bonus items to find. But what this game lacked in challenges, it certainly made up for in storyline. Finally, a game where you actually wanted to know what happened next (albeit a little sad). The game was an okay length, and kept you entertained the whole way. The bonus chapter was a prequel, and tied in smoothly, but not essential to the story. The bonus chapter was also a passable length. I never used the hint button, but the strategy guide was easy to use - the only downfall was that each time you opened it, it took you to the beginning. Definitely give this game the thumbs up!

The standard match 3 game using a honeycomb board. An instant turn-off for me in match 3 games is when you have to wait until all pieces have fallen and matched before making each move - and this game was one of them. There was very little challenge to the game. A few frozen pieces, locked pieces, dropping artefacts...nothing new. The music was monotonous and nerve grating. The graphics filled my widescreen, but were ordinary. I normally love match 3 games, but this one I forced myself through the 60 minute trial then deleted it.

Stunning graphics, good voice-overs, and great cut-scenes. Catered for wide screen. No annoying music, and good background sounds. The hidden object games were very easy, but they did have the extra task of combining inventory items to find objects - something i love. The puzzles were also very easy, and didn't contain any new ideas, but still fun to do. You had the extra challenge of finding owls throughout the game, plus earning achievements along the way. The strategy guide was very easy to use. I didn't use the hint button. The only thing it lacked was a journal. The storyline flowed nicely, and was interesting but not edge-of-your-seat captivating, and the game was a reasonable length. The bonus chapter was a just passable length and followed on from the main story, but wasn't essential to it. A thoroughly enjoyable game.

Whilst the game was okay, i felt it had too many short-falls to be a CE game. First and foremost it did not cater for wide screen. The game did not run smoothly, and had big pauses between scenes. Also [for me] the voice-overs were out of sync with the scenes. The hidden object scenes were slightly different to normal, but were all very easy, and after a while became monotonous. The puzzles were also very easy and nothing new offered. The storyline was a little different to normal, and was relatively interesting but not captivating. The bonus chapter was a prequel to the story, and not an essential part. Both the game and the bonus chapter were on the short side. Whilst I recommend this game, I'd suggest the SE version as I didn't think it was a CE quality game.

Gorgeous graphics and good voice-overs, including cut-scenes that were well done. Catered for Wide Screen. All the standard hidden object scenes and puzzles, with a few new puzzle types. Hidden object scenes were very easy and puzzles varied from very easy to relatively difficult. Achievements were earnt along the way. The length of the game was fair. The storyline flowed nicely, but didn't having you wondering what was going to happen next. The bonus chapter was a just passable length, and flowed on nicely from the main story, but wasn't an essential part of it. I originally had trouble getting into this game, but came back as few weeks later for another attempt. Started from the beginning again, and glad that I did. Really enjoyed it.

I think the thing that struck me the most about this game was the stunning graphics! Also good voice-overs and background sounds. A hidden object game where you need to find 3 or 4 objects in a scene, to then get another object, which is used in another scene. Different to the standard hidden object games, but not novel. Also contained a few puzzles which were, unfortunately, disappointingly easy. The storyline was slightly different to run of the mill, and flowed okay, but wasn't really riveting. Felt it had pieces missing out of it. The journal attached contained only bare basics and no map. The stategy guide was easy to follow and access. Hint button was available, but i did not use it. The game length, whilst not long, was still reasonable. The bonus chapter was a little on the short side. It followed on in story from the main game, but wasn't an essential part of it, and was also slightly disappointing. If the bonus chapter had been longer with a better storyline, I'd have given the full 5 stars. I definitely recommend this game, but with the suggestion that if you don't use Strategy Guides then opt for the SE version.

The game itself was fun to play... right up until the end where they mangled the storyline. The hidden objects were a little too easy - no tasks just straight finding the objects. The puzzles were minimal and very easy - no challenge at all. No extras such as morphing objects or trophies. The graphics and voice-overs were very well done - probably the best part of the game. Whilst the game length wasn't actually 'short', it was still a little on the short side. The storyline was very poorly done. It made sense most of the game and flowed nicely - although didn't quite pull off the 'spooky mystery' it seemed to be aiming for. But then at the end it just went sideways - made no sense what-so-ever and didn't answer any of the main plot questions....which pretty much ruined it for me. If you are after a simple, easy hidden object game with lovely graphics and no interest in storylines then I'd say go for it, otherwise I'd suggest not to bother. One of the few games I never got the CE of, and glad I didn't.

Something a little different.... A fun and humorous game where you are to save the princess from marriage by rejoining the pieces of damaged 'heart' of the land. To get each heart piece you first need to complete certain tasks in each scene/s. There is no hidden object games, although there is hidden objects throughout each scene that you need to locate. The games are instead finding like items ie. horse/saddle. There are also a few puzzles. Both puzzles and games are quite simple and easy to do. The only real downfall of the game is that it is incredibly short. It took less than 1 1/2 hrs in hard mode, taking it casually. I would, however, still recommend this game purely for its novelty and light-heartedness.
