Would like to give 4 1/2 stars - a beautifully done game, but without any extra frills. Absolutely stunning graphics, good voice-overs, and lovely cut-scenes. Catered for wide-screen. I played the hardest level, yet still got those annoying sparkles. No bonus items to find or achievements to earn. Both the hidden object games and puzzles were relatively easy, but they also both varied slightly from the norm. I really enjoyed it when certain hidden object games required a task to find the next item, and so forth. The puzzles weren't much different to normal, but were presented in such a way that they appeared fairly novel. . The story flowed nicely and made sense, and the game wasn't very long, but still a passable length. The bonus chapter followed on nicely from the main story but was not an essential part of it. It was also a passable length.

Graphics were simple but nice. No voice-overs. Cut-scenes were made to look like a black and white movie and were a little off-putting. Catered for wide-scene. There were hidden items rather than hidden object games, and a few puzzles. All very easy to do. Adventure side whilst slightly harder was still very easy, and didn't involve a lot of running around. The hardest part would have been the first 20 mins, until grasping the 'flow' of the game. Annoying sparkles for games. No bonus items or achievements to earn. Hint button worked well the one time i used it, and charged quickly. The storyline made sense, but was not riveting - and was actually somewhat depressing. The game was not very long, but flowed well. Yet despite having so many things going against it, it was still enjoyable to play. Perfect if you are a novice or want to play something simple, that doesnt require much concentration.

Teeters between 4 and 5 stars. Definitely a game that gets better as you go along. Nice graphics, good voice-overs, great cut-scenes. Caters for wide-screen. Hidden object and puzzle games were fairly easy, with no interactive tasks. Annoying sparkles unfortunately. No bonus objects to find or achievements to earn. Hint button only available in hidden object games, but quite easy to work out what's next. No running all over the place - tasks grouped nicely. The storyline flowed nicely and, whilst not captivating, was clear and made sense. The length of the game was reasonable, and finished nicely. I found this game slightly dreary at the beginning, and got stuck on the first puzzle. Almost gave up, but perservered - and glad I did, as it improved remarkably.

If given the option, I'd rate this game 4 1/2 stars. Didn't think it was quite worth the full 5 stars, but purely for minor little niggles. Gorgeous graphics, beautiful cut-scenes, great voice-overs. Caters for wide-screen. Hidden object games and puzzles were fairly standard, and didn't offer anything much new. The challenge was more in the adventure side, with good scene interaction. Annoying sparkles, even on the hardest mode. No hidden bonuses or achievements. The strategy guide was easy to use but always started on home page. The storyline flowed nicely and was interesting, although at times slightly confusing. The game itself was not particularly long - would have liked to have seen it longer for a CE game. The bonus chapter flowed on from the main storyline, and was an okay length. Whilst the main story ended okay, if you didn't want to be left asking questions then you really needed to do the bonus chapter as well. The bonus chapter would probably be more aptly called an 'epilogue' with this game. Because of this reason, I'd recommend the CE over the SE.

An enjoyable evenly paced game to play. Lovely graphics, great cut-scenes. Caters for wide-screen. There were no voice-overs, and music was unmemorable. Hidden object and puzzles were fairly run-of-the-mill. Puzzles varied from easy to harder. A lot of interactive scenes, without a lot of continual running around. Annoying sparkles - even on 'expert' mode. Strategy guide was easy to understand. Storyline was okay, but not captivating. Length of the game was fair, and flowed nicely. Bonus chapter length was okay, and followed on nicely from main story, but wasn't essential to it. However, I'd still suggest getting the CE version as the end of the bonus chapter hinted at a sequel.

Would like to give this 4 1/2 stars as whilst great, it wasn't as good as the first in the series. Beautiful graphics, with good cut-scenes. Catered for wide-screen, and played smoothly. Hidden object games were quite easy, and puzzle games were also easy and offered nothing much new, but were still enjoyable. The 'adventure' scenes were interactive, which was where the challenge was. No annoying sparkles in game. Hidden morphing/cursed object to find throughout the game, but no achievements to earn. Hint button worked well, and a map was also included. I think, if anything, the map could have been modified or removed as it basically made things too easy. Not only did it show you which scenes still had tasks to do, but it also instantly took you to them. The storyline was......actually dont have a clue what it was about, except that i had to gather sculls. Could have done with some serious improvement here. The length of the game was fair. The bonus chapter was also a fair length, and the storyline was a vast improvement. It carried on from the main story but wasn't essential to it. Definitely one of the better games around.

Yet another story of saving your son from a wicked witch.... Graphics were nice, but nothing brilliant - more of a 'sketched' appearance. Each scene contained hidden items to find, with some being interactive with other scenes, and a few hidden object games as well. At the end of each scene was a puzzle game - great variety here, although some I had to skip as I couldn't work out what to do. Instructions could do with improvement. The ones that I was able to varied from easy to harder. The puzzles were definitely what made the game. The hint button wasn't a lot of help, and instructions were somewhat vague at times. Sparkles annoy me in games, but with this one there was just so many of them everywhere it almost wasn't an issue. The storyline was so unoriginal and boring i totally lost interest in it. The game didn't run very smoothly, but was an okay length. Enjoyable to play, although after a while it became somewhat repetitive. The puzzles are what kept it alive for me.

It took me a few tries before I actually got into this game, but I am glad I did. Catered for widescreen with lovely graphics and cut-scenes. Good voice-overs (excluding the main character who sounded like she had an IQ of about 5 - extremely irritating!). Standard hidden object games that then had another slightly different hidden object game within itself. Puzzles were different from the regular and varied, but were mostly easy. The puzzles were what made this game. Also no annoying sparkles. Hint button and map/tasks tab helped if stuck. The storyline itself had that many holes in it, and was probably the poorest thing about the game. The length of the game was okay, and ran smoothly although it did seem to use a lot of resources which caused the occasional lagging. Whilst nothing brilliant, it was still enjoyable and worth playing.

This game really didn't offer anything I haven't done a hundred times before, but this still didn't diminish the game's enjoyment in any way. Gorgeous graphics that catered for widescreen, and had a very mediaeval theme to them, and stayed fairly constant throughout the game. The puzzles had a few slightly different to the norm, but like the hidden object scenes were very easy to do. There was a bit of running around, but nothing overly annoying, and it was relatively easy to keep track of where you were up to. The hint button wasn't much help if there was nothing to do on the current scene, however a map was included that helped there. The game flowed nicely and ran smoothly, but the storyline wasn't very captivating. Total play time was slightly on the short side - something typical with most of the Hidden Mysteries series. But also like most of the Hidden Mysteries series it was thoroughly enjoyable to play.
I recommend this game!

Another adventure with Rita and the one-eyed monkey Marbles. Whilst not as good as the first one in the series, it was still a fun game. Loved the humorous cut-scenes! The game offered nothing special. More adventure than hidden objects, without any frills. The games and puzzles were relatively easy, and the hint button charged quickly. The tasks tab worked almost like a strategy guide in that it showed you what scenes still needed completing, when stuck. The graphics were okay, voice-overs good, and the game ran smoothly and loaded quickly. The storyline fell short - just sort of bumped from one scene to the next without any plot. The length of the game was fair. Whilst not to the calibre of most of the CE games around, it was still fun to play with a bright and chirpy feeling to it.
