Sailing alone on your yacht, your entire boat literally gets pulled into a graveyard for ships. Among the other fallen vessels, you see a much larger steamship, "The Sea Pearl" that vanished during it's 1923 voyage.
More of the same where evil spirit#s# needs living souls, but there is an intriguing story that elevates the game and makes gamer want to proceed and learn more.
Ambience is hauntingly noteworthy with eerie background piano music which lends an urgency to the fact you must find your way out before the moon is full. Hurry!
Hidden objects can be found--not too difficult--not too easy, and are time era appropriate and interesting. You get to open drawers and doors and boxes to find hidden objects.
Developers did their homework and put a lot of work and effort into the game--it's not just another cookie cutter, dog and pony show. Razzle dazzle 'em!
Way to go, BFG! I love your games and appreciate more of the standard edition games released lately.

Okay now! Many of the higher priced Collector's Edition game developers could learn a thing or two. More reasonably priced games like Alex Hunter: Lord of the Mind, please!
A Standard Edition with many extras usually found in a Collector's Edition and the game is VERY WELL DONE!
You are the much sought Detective, Mr. Hunter hired to find a missing person. Rich colors, splendid voice overs and a map that shows locations of the 35 secret symbols needed to collect in order to play the Bonus Chapter.

Music is appropriate and blends well with game. Hidden objects and puzzles are, thankfully, not so easy and enjoyable. Achievements are do-able since I seem to never get all of them any where! Bah! Humbug! Oh, that's a different game.

Enjoy all games from these Developers.
More a girly theme, handsome prince shoots an arrow into the window of his chosen bride-to-be and hopefully, not into the fair maiden. You are the chosen bride, yet, circumstances are not so easy and you are going to have to match wits with a villain.
Gamers of all ages and gender can enjoy a relaxing gameplay, entertained with bold and detailed artwork that is lavished upon us loyal BFG players.
From Steve the Sheriff, to Haunted Legends, Redemption Cemetery, Dark Tales, Phantasmat, Reveries, Gothic Fiction, Maestro etc., there is a game for everyone.
What's not to like? However, would like to see more of a modern day backdrop rather than magical and mystical for gamers to relate. We don't have potions or spells to help solve our dilemmas although I have been accused of being seen riding a broom. Obviously, that is something that comes with age and playing too many BFG Games. A classic tale about Scrooge in game form! Bah! Humbug! We gamers are definitely spoiled.
You have been invited by your Uncle Scrooge to his home on Christmas Eve and the battle between good and evil for your uncle's soul begins. Numerous cut scenes, bold, brilliant graphics, hidden objects, puzzles and wondrous holiday music abound in this delightful holiday game right down to the collecting of my favorite--penguins!

Ah! Since I wasn't REALLY looking forward to yet another Haunted Halls sequel--and I am submitting a tad late, I did wish to share my review for other BFG gamers who may think the same.
Best way to describe HH: Nightmare Dwellers is to add the usual Haunted Halls dark humor, mix in Twilight Phenomena type zany characters; add more zany characters, a dash of the old classic "Alice in Wonderland" backwards logic and blend well with generous amounts of straight up humor.
With lots to see and do, the game is definitely fun and different with no need to try and describe any realistic plot as there is none. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-

Drat! On your wedding day, the groom is abducted and his mother poisoned with gas! Are you sure you want to marry into this family?
The search is on for your future hubby--room after room--hidden objects and puzzles to further your search that leads to a hidden portal into another dimension. Uh, future hubby has lots of secrets he is keeping. I am sure he has a good explanation.
Game moves quickly. Hard level not difficult with endearing good guys and loving the mad scientist. Game is beautifully drawn and rendered. Much respect and admiration to Developers and Artists.
Lots of Beyond Objects (164) with a banner that lets you know when all "Observers" are located in each scene. No morphing objects which is okay with me--as I'd rather work puzzles than stare at a screen--my attention span is not that great.
Yay! Switch to a Match-3 if you get hung up on a hidden object scene. Great for we little old ladies who don't know a who's it from a what's it.
A definite purchase to add to my BFG CE collection.

Wanted to add my review for the Developers as well as BFG Gamers. One of the best games I have played here on BFG Site. Original story line, detailed graphics, superior voice overs and acting, music all combined to make this a GREAT game.
Thoroughly enjoyed playing and will play over again to earn more Achievements. Looking forward to more games!

Colorful artwork, 40 collectible ornate eggs, map and a classic fairy tale remake with magical spells and Jack in the center of it all again for selling his mother's only cow for a handful of beans. Tsk! Tsk!
Great little game for parents and their younger children to play together. So much better than the price of a movie and to be kept forever!
