How dreadful, took 14 minutes off the Demo time to decide to uninstall! Don't even waste your time to download this one as you will probably uninstall in less time then it took to install. I don't know where to begin as there was not one thing I liked and play was a little confusing. Also, nothing closed on it's own and you had to click the arrow at the top to close that window, even the constant stupid cell phone text. I was in the mood for more of a silly game for a change, but this is more stupid than silly, unless you enjoy silly stupid.

I usually don't go for the clue type games, but this one didn't have the dreaded fingerprint and analysis lab duties that I really dislike. It's nice to have a mystery game for a change and looking forward to finding the culprit. Graphics are very nice, voiceovers well done, and HOs were typical but I still enjoy them; puzzles were fairly simple, but I like them that way. I didn't use the guide so will wait for the SE but am looking to complete the story.
I recommend this game!

I really enjoyed the Demo, and love the small HOs throughout and not just the big single HO in a scene; had both list and silhouette types. Maybe the story isn't new, but I find some storylines never get old as they are all a different version. Voiceovers were well done, interactive map worked well, and scenes were nicely done. I do want to get this one, but since I didn't find the need for the guide, I'll wait for the SE.

Was it my eyes or was everything really blurry? The story was interesting and I really wanted this one to be at least good, but alas, another disappointment. Biggest complaint was that everything, including writings, seemed out of focus, which was terribly annoying and gave me a headache. Seemed there were tons of puzzles, everywhere you turned, but few HOs. Strategy Guide was not well done and of little help. Interactive map was also lacking and not so interactive. If they take this one and redo all the visuals, cut out some of the many puzzles, I'll give it another chance. I need a new one to play, but this is not it, so guess I'll be replaying some of my favorites. CE is a waste of money because of the lack of guidance, and SE will be a waste unless you like headaches.

OK, she is lost in this old Castle with all kinds of pitfalls and needs to find out who she is and how to get away. Could have been an interesting story if it moved along faster. Video scenes were soooo slow and long and all you wanted was for it to end. Screens were small because they used too much fancy framing around it, I guess trying to make everything fancy...bad decision. When you found an area of interest, it was slow to zoom down to the interest area. Puzzles made little sense and had little direction. Sorry, I didn't finish the Demo, had 15 minutes left, but I was gone and game uninstalled. This game seems to be a bad attempt at Old School games of the past. Even back then, this one wouldn't have made the C List.

I don't know where to start on why I so disliked this new game in the Hidden Expedition series, but to say I found nothing good or fun with this one. I guess my last real favorite in the series was Amazon, that is not what games are today, but I still play it from time to time. I won't go into all that was bad, as the list would be way too long. I will not get the CE, nor the SE, but will pass on both.
Not only is this story extremely dark, game interaction is extremely slow to react to your actions. HOs were different and actually the type was a little annoying, but maybe if I was enjoying the game, I would have found them new and refreshingly different, but alas, who knows. Voiceovers were slow and mouth still working when conversation was over. Most puzzles were easy, but that's OK as I dislike puzzles anyway. The bottom line is this story was dark and not enjoyable enough to want me to keep going. I'm sure all you dark people will love this and I say "Enjoy", but I'm not buying it.

Some series get worse the longer they produce them, but happily I report this is not the case here. The HOs are the same as the other Parables, all being fragment searches and not a list. Graphics, voice overs, fun factor, and storyline are all there and excellently done. I do have 2 complaints, but didn't change my mind about this one. 1) Has a map but it does not let you jump to a site, and 2) there are way too many puzzles (I hate puzzles). I will definitely buy the CE as it's too difficult to not have a guide.

Fun factor was average, but far too many puzzles compared to the number of HO games; puzzles were fairly easy and lame, and HOs were the normal list with lots of extra action items. Visuals were fairly well done and voice overs were not too chatty. Story line is not new but still could be interesting. Now for the issues I found in this one. Interaction and screen load was slow to react, while using the interactive map, you had to click on a certain area before it would take you to the location. Some of the HO items, again, you had to click in just the right spot, example a bolt of lightning which was large, but you had to click on the lower point to catch it. The leaves you had to collect were annoying and you had to find way to many. The fact that there are 4 mirrors, so guessing 4 locations, if it took less than an hour to enter the 2nd mirror, that is 1/4th of the locations, so assuming this is a pretty short game. My experience, the 1st location always is the longest. This game is a pass for me, both CE and SE versions. Just too many annoying issues to keep my attention.

They really try to suck you in with these demos that end right when someone needs help and this one is no different. Graphics are bright and well done, voice overs are right where they should be with only enough info and not too chatty. Loved the HOs as there were many varieties in one game and puzzles, so far, are fairly simple, which fits me just fine. Another female detective story set in a time period I enjoy. I haven't decided if I'll go with the CE or wait for the SE, but it is definitely one I will add to my collection.
