I really enjoyed this dark tale of death, it was beautifully done. Everything about this game was excellent but found it very difficult and used the Strategy Guide often, which I don't care to do. I also thought jumping from location to location took a great deal of time and do not enjoy that lengthy task. I probably would dismiss this game and not purchase it, except I totally enjoyed the story and want to continue with the death quest. If you are a newbie, you will probably get lost in this one and I do not recommend it for you. Graphics. voice over, music, and difficulty were all excellent.

I don't give 5s very often but I absolutely loved the Demo and hope the continuing game is just as great. Puzzles were not terribly difficult...YEAH. HOs are either list form or interactive, plus you have story HOs. Visual and sound are excellent and storyline is so exciting. Who wants the children? The Healer? And why is she stealing them? I must have this game...Thank You BF for bringing us such an awesome game!

Glad they are coming out with new games that don't come in CE first, thanks. This is a fun little game with interesting HOs that are interactive in the list format. Puzzles...some difficult, some easy, but as I've said many times, I do not care for puzzles. Story is not new with bad demon kidnapping child and parent must rescue and needs to go thru tasks to get to the next level. I am a little concerned about what the length of this one may be, but may opt to use my game credit to purchase this one.

Epix has done it again, a beautifully made game and interesting story. Graphics are gorgeous, music is well done, and voice overs are so Parie'. Has an interactive map, investigative tool bag, and evidence board to help you solve this murder. I played the demo on the easiest level and found the puzzles very easy, which is great for me as I think they are just a necessary evil and don't care for them, and has a variety of HOs, that I love. I will definitely be getting this one; anxious to solve the mystery of the masked one and the murderer.

This game was made so beautifully and story is very interesting, HOs were well done, but that's where it ends. Even though I played on the Citizen, easy, level,I was surprised to see that when you clicked on an area of interest, there was no task or description, nothing so guess you would have to guess. The 1st few scenes were do-able by trial and error and use of the guide, but as soon as you received the map, I could only find items to pick up but had to use the guide for every move I made. I'm not a dummy and have played lots of these type games, but this one was an effort of hopelessness. It is no fun to constantly have to open the guide to find what to do next, even on the easy level. How anyone could ever think they could play this on the SE version would be nuts. I'm so disappointed as I would love to see how this adventure goes, but if I wanted to read a book, I'd go to my library. You Geniuses, have at it.
Enjoy this beautiful adventure set in a unique interactive 3D Thailand! Complete mysterious puzzles and find hidden objects. Prepare for an unforgettable experience!

This has to be the absolute worst game of the year. Click everywhere to find something to do, you have to drag the screen and drag the inventory items, so boring I won't even go into all the things about this game as my mind is numb. I did try to give it a good go and played about 20 minutes, but the torture was too much and had to delete. Story may have been OK, but the boredom prevented me from getting into the plot. Oh, one more thing; the Chinese guy was such a drama queen with his eyes almost popping out of his head, oh my gosh, got to close this review now or I'll burst.
I don't recommend this game.

Took me awhile to get into this one, but I did end up enjoying this game. Graphics were good and voiceovers were good, but in the intro, the lips moved to the speech, but don't move in the game,,,Hum, what's that about? You get to move between the present and shadow scenes once you repair the portals, interactive map helps you know which mode to be in. There seemed to be few HOs, but they were varied types, and puzzles were also few and not too difficult. The story is interesting and kept me in the game. I did find the beginning of the game to be slow, but got into it as it goes along and will probably opt for the SE version.
I only give 5 Stars very rarely, but this new Maestro deserves one, at least for the Demo. Beautiful graphics and sound and story is great. I've found a series often loses it's appeal, but this one is even better than the prior Maestro games. There was so much to do and every task is different, even the HOs are a great variety. I do have 1 negative to report; on the interactive map, it says there is a ! indicating areas needing attention, but I never saw a ! indicated at anytime during the demo. I can't wait to get this and continue the adventure.

I so dislike having to give bad reviews, but this game is so awful, I have no choice. Graphics were nice in the intro, but that ended once you were in the game and there is voice overs were at least attempted. No map, even rooms you thought were completed, if you go back, they now have tasks; this means you have to keep retracking just to try to find something. Story is confusing, in the woods, oops, now your at the school, oops, back in the woods. Very short Demo with set ending, and did not end at a cliffhanger. I guess the end of Summer drought continues with all these bad games.

Seems there has been a drought for good HOs lately, and unfortunately, this one does not bring relief. First off, I found this to be very predictable and you know how to solve almost instantly, no adventure. This simplicity totally turned me off and it was hard to continue the demo til the end; which I should add took me 33 minutes. The story may have been interesting to continue, but not with this developer. I would recommend, but only to newcomers and not experienced players. The graphics were good, voice over good, and HOs were average with easy puzzles. Since the demo took me 33 minutes, and I had to get up a couple of times to attend to business, I'm concerned about the length of this one. Happy Gaming! But not with this one...sorry.
