This one must of been developed by a procrastinist who started it over 4 years ago. No voiceover, no map, no sparkles, no journal, no volume controls, no level choices, no nothing but arrows that show where you can go, an eye for a HO, puzzle piece for puzzle, and a magnifying glass for a zoom.. I'm sorry, but this was totally boring, just had the droll music pounding in my ear. I think this would have bored me way back when and that is sad. Don't know if the story would have been interesting as didn't get that far. About the only good thing I can say is that items in the HOs are well hidden, other than that, nothing. Graphics are even horrible but the moving mouths while you read the conversation was a real bummer. Don't waste your time downloading this one as it's the worst I've seen in years. Deserves a 0 rating, but there isn't one and I gave a 2 as I didn't want to be too harsh..
I don't recommend this game.

I don't give 5 stars often and did at 1st until I had to mark challenge and story only a 4 so I changed to a 4 which should add up to 4 1/2. Love the Puppetshow series, and even though this one's story is different, it's still the nasty puppets gone awry. Game was Fun, lots of things to do. Visual is excellent with beautiful artwork and sound is excellent, maybe a little talkative, but the story needs to be told and you're not left in the dark to know what's going on. Challenge is not difficult and mostly pretty easy with different HOs and simple puzzles, which I like as I do not enjoy puzzles; just want to get them over with. Storyline is very good, not real different, but it is interesting. I knew I'd like this one and I did, couldn't buy it quick enough and can't wait to get back to it. This one is a keeper!

After playing Demo: In the first 10 minutes or so, I was going to quit and uninstall, but had nothing else to do so I continued, and I'm glad I did continue, just need to get past the dialog with the cops. Graphics are not the most amazing, but still pleasing and voiceovers were only as needed. Challenge was good, some easy puzzles and some not so easy, but did feel there were more than I care to have. HOs were different and I enjoyed the varied types, some being kind of new. The story in the beginning was rather boring, but as you went thru the tasks and locations, it did get interesting. Close of Demo was drawing of Mother, but was renamed Michelle....WHY? Mother's name or something else...hope to find out.

I never play the card games but was bored and thought I'd do the Demo. The story is really entertaining and the characters are very imaginative, even the lingo they use is enjoyable. If I get bored again, I may just decide to get this one as I would love to follow the story to the end. Is the detective going to get his man? Is there going to be a bank heist? Inquiring minds want to know!

Why can't we have more like the 4 Elements series as there has only been 2 and the last one was 2 or 3 years ago. I love Match 3 Games, but dislike most that are produced. Most are so kiddie like and nonsense that they are a waste of time to even download to your computer. This was the 1st innovative series since Jewel Quest series, that after the 1st 2, they ruined them. This is why I pretty much stick with the HO Adventure games. Please, develop some more gorgeously done Match 3 games.

Game locations seemed to be all over the place and it was easy to get lost as to where the next activity was to take place and location map was interactive, but did not offer areas within that location. I did like the story and that's about the only thing that was good about this one, as every other aspect was just OK. Seems as though they are putting out games as quickly as possible without taking the time to make a quality product; not too many excellent new games being offered lately. I'm on the fence with this one, but feel because of the continuous jumping around, the strategy guide is needed for this one but not sure it's worth the extra price. I'm also concerned about the game length as the demo took less than 45 minutes and seems you've gotten pretty far into the game just thru the demo.
I recommend this game!

Not the door buster I'm sure they thought they had produced, but still a nicely done game. Graphics were nice and voiceovers as needed so you could follow the history of Mab's anger...yes, another revengeful female because her love up and left her. I found the puzzles to be not real difficult and I found there were 2 different kinds of HOs, both normal list and assemble lists. The one thing I found negative is that action seemed to lag, not really hang or skip, but they would move slowly and it was kind of annoying. Still on the fence with this one, but will probably opt for the SE instead of CE as it's not worth the extra cost.

Wish they would categorize games by recommended age as this is definitely a child's game. I do not understand why it is in our offerings as we pay our monthly fee and it's a waste to offer these to us and should have a special kid's dept for such things. There is nothing beautiful, entertaining, or challenging about this one. Your kid's will love it!

I own others in this series and they were much better. The storyline in this one would have been fine if the gameplay wasn't so all-over-the-map. The gameplay was boring and the challenge concept attempted to be well done, but they failed. HOs were imaginative, and I will give them that, but other puzzles were many, quite simple, and didn't seem to hold my interest. I will not purchase this one, in neither CE or SE versions, but can't say I won't recommend it to others who care little about the story and just play for figuring out the puzzles. Interactive map in level 1, demo took me 30 mins., graphics where more on the comic book style, and level of challenge was good for HOs, but lacking in the many puzzles.
I don't recommend this game.

I had such great expectations for this game as the reviews, all but 1, were excellent. but I'm sorely disappointed. The only great thing I can say about this game is "The graphics are stunning", but it takes more than pictures to make a great game. My first dislike was the voice of the Father; should have been the villain's voice and I got so tired of the voice telling me to find another clue...how irritating. I love the HOs in these games but this one had not so fun ones and gave no initial instructions so you had to ask for a hint to see how it worked. But, my biggest complaint were all the many, many, puzzles; every time I moved, there was another one and I so dislike puzzles and prefer games with more HOs and few puzzles. The story, what can I say? It was not interesting, enjoyable, or anything else. I can honestly say, in my opinion, this is one of the worse games I've demoed in some time. Oh, to be so beautiful but so boring.
