Usually when I hear the words 'stage complete' I let our a groan like Lurch from the Addams Family. This time however I could see the developers had tried to improve some aspects of their 'same games' mostly produced.
The tiles are large and colourful and I found them a delight to play. The bonus choices came quite quickly..you buy them with your stars, no on screen bonuses for large matches. There is also a magic school to rebuild and find various 'seals' to fix the woes of the magic world. I nearly bought this as it was relaxing and pleasant.. I saw webs but no spiders..I enjoyed the morphing tiles to suit.. I even liked the sounds..but then I realised..NO TIMER choice! There isn't one, and I neither play TM's or M3's without at least some form of challenge to defeat. In fact the longer I took to do a level the more stars I seemed to get.
So if you were going to choose relaxed as an option or for young children just restoring a school and saving the world this game is very pleasant. For someone who enjoys having a timer to conquer..nope! For that non option this game lost a star and a purchase from me. So different strokes for different folks.. but not for me. I cant do the 'recommend' as I recommend it if you meet the 'relaxed' criteria needs, but not for anyone else. Cheers

I love to have a solitaire on my desktop for quieter times and before sleep. This one is a little gem. There is so much going on and so many choices to make. So not entirely relaxing lol.
The first novel feature is that some of your bonuses come from 'costuming' up your character, and you cant use them all on the same piece of body, and must choose, and you also need to use them in the right 'dreamworld' you are in or they actually penalise you until you change your garb. Such things as your character wearing an 'extra undo' in the wrong setting will add two cards to your deck..there are some items of your wardrobe that go through all 'dream worlds'
There are heaps of different decks to choose from, and some cards are live as you play! If the card turns to an eye (can be a bit creepy till you get used to it)..and you add it into your play it will 'face up' and show more cards. In fact there are so many little nuances to this game..this review will be a book that I will leave to the No.1 reviewer Pennmom to elaborate on and do it heaps better than me. But the jist is that it's novel and captivating.
There are 200 levels over several 'dream worlds' Each world has goals that you have the whole length of the world to achieve, such as a 10 combo..collect all the stars, but it offers you repeat if you are not 'getting there'. It has a fairly good tute to help you understand the dynamics..but concentrate because the pointers are fairly quick and lots to understand.
I nearly took a star off as there was one feature I didn't seem to like in that you have to remember what your bonuses do. You can mouse over them and get a description to buy them but on your play screen 'what it does' didn't seem to register. Maybe just me? But I decided it was too good to penalise.
As solitaire goes to me this is a real winner. Something different and things to think about not just obtaining cards. Absolutely try the demo and see what you think. I am really glad I bought it.
I recommend this game!

This is rescue team as we know it..save people from the water, the mountains, the zip lines etc, put out fires, build, upgrade, buy supplies, disable transformers, and heal the sickies.
A meteorite has landed making people both sick and also covering buildings with vines, that require you to first remove them before even attempting to repair the structure, and to do this you need your store and your meteorite scientist to help.
The first five levels on easy were just that, but by level 6 I was really having to apply a lot of strategy to what I built and upgraded first (or demolished). This is rescue team at its usual good form. (well they tried cutsie animals and we didn't take to it so we are back to our usual 'classic')
There are three modes including relax, there is a numbered strategy guide, 50 levels plus 15 bonus levels, achievements, and this time a lab where you will collect the ingredients for an antidote as you go, and a research tab a bit diary like, and a bio on the team, bonuses to buy with your stars, (and music and art of course lol)
Its lots of fun, its smooth and responsive, and the graphics are colourful. (that boat has come a long way lol). So all in all, classic Rescue Team and its just as good as they all are. I'm loving it. Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Other than the extra's a CE gives like art and strategy guide, you cant go wrong with this game. Its one of the top quality games in the genre and full of strategy right from the start.
If you dont use your recourses well or go the wrong way..you will repeat. But its wonderful to see that a series that is well into the numbers list has lost none of its appeal and can come up with new and refreshing features even now
The gang is all here..Mary, John, Max the dog all doing the tasks only each one can do..and a helpful gremlin is here too. Set in a greek oddessy the screens offer a new setting, and gameplay is just a delight, smooth and strategic.
Try the demo, but as gather resource TM's go..you wont do better IMHO. Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

When I first started this game I was TOTALLY unimpressed. It seemed like a kids game designed only for an Ipad or a phone better played with thumbs and gigantic cartoon graphics. It took more than twenty levels for it to suddenly grab me and start to resemble a TM in a style that I am used to and expect. I had already grabbed the game with a coupon.
After a truly repetitive demo I nearly deleted it and was going to give it 2 stars. But suddenly half way through my second world there new features appearing. There were catapults and scrolls and bowls to light, buildings to find and upgrade in the mist, gems to collect, bridges to build with decent strategy needing to be applied. At first all I needed to know was where the hourglass was, pick up the puzzle piece and to make sure I had enough wood to seal off the enemies 'cracks' so they didn't keep returning..and it went on and on and on. (an aside..even if the timer goes below max stars..the hourglass will bring them back if you get to it)
There may be more than 70 levels..but subtract 20 lol. I am now enjoying the game even though the graphics are a bit childish..it's coming good. The 'interactive' guide is NOT a strategy guide, but the arrows that tell you your next move that seems now is the new style for this developer. You can click it on and off at will.
Navigation takes a bit of getting around..to get back to the map to repeat a level you must pause and then choose map. There is an office to upgrade with your stars with memories of the family (Herc)..and furniture/statue etc. Nothing fancy.
All in all, its not the greatest game from this well respected developer, but it is beginning to engage me and keep me entertained. I always say try the demo..but you would just have to trust me that it is not a true reflection of what the game becomes. It is the new 'modern' style of TM, and it even has a button for 'gamepad'..so its not our usual Hercules style game but I will recommend it. As a CE it probably just scrapes in with so many levels wasted on a bad start, so the choice will be whether you need it now or later as an SE. The only extras are wallpaper really. You can skip the dialogue and even a level if you wish. There are three modes of play including relaxed..but I found normal is challenging enough. (I needed the hourglass and fast run/extra resource bonuses always)
A difficult decision to make as far as purchase. I am glad now I did. Enjoy.
I recommend this game!

If you are after some action, this isn't the game. If you are after new and innovative, this isn't the game. If you are short on patience, the same. But if you like old school HO's and variety, lots to do and lots of mini games, this is IT!
A warning that when you start the game let it run and take notice of your advice that explains the 'collectables' to you, as later on the 'help' menu is not as good. When it refers to a 'scene' it means each window, not the particular level you first play. There are three cats, 6 shields and two robots to be found after you have played the scene MANY, MANY multiple times. I played for over an hour and was only half way through the first scene. It tells you how many collectables are in each scene at the start of it so take notice of what's in the level to find..The cats are not listed..just stay alert for them. The objects are hard to find, so not for the those with sight problems for sure.
The good news is you don't have to stick with the same scene you can move on and back as you wish, however completing a scene at once gives 'famililarity' with the objects though they occasionally move.
You play a minigame after each single level. slider, mahjong, jigsaw (fun) , spot the diff, swap tiles(fun), match 3 and solitaire which seems to be the only one you can skip. The good news is..in tourist mode the hint button will walk you through the game and solve but you do need patience.
The HO's are VERY varied. Straight word (where you will find your collectables) flashlight, jumbled words, riddle, missing vowels, silhouette, and alpha sort (letters in alphabetical order)..no skip, (why I took off a star) but again in tourist mode the hint button is every ten seconds. .
Some will label this boring and in a way it is, but its a game to have on your desktop for quiet time (unless you choose a hard mode for the stress lol)..It will last you nearly forever just playing the main game with so many levels, and if you are diligent you also unlock 'unlimited' mode. The graphics are ok, not outstanding, but there are both indoor and outdoor scenes.
You also have a 'finale' that is a multiple choice quiz on your trip once you finally do get there! I bought it because sometimes late at night I just want to do something a little bit slow and varied, not just solitaire, before bed. The amount of levels make it pretty good value, but I think the SE will be fairly long too when it comes out. Try the demo for sure to see if it is for you. Enjoy.
I recommend this game!

This series is number 1 on my list of TM's. Often by a high number of releases games get tired or boring. NOT so this one! In this game we have travelled across not only the sea but a time warp too and find ourselves in a Greek Oddessy.
The gang are all here, John, Mary, Max the dog, and Big Ears the gremlin is here to help not hinder, but he must first drink the potion that Mary makes once you have filled up her cauldron with mana, and the effect only last a brief time. (took me a bit to get the hang of that) He is the only one that can remove the large Greek columns.
The strategy begins almost immediately, and if you do waste your resources on the wrong thing or head in the wrong direction..you WILL find yourself without...stuck...and have to repeat. Sometimes your goals are unknown as you don't know exactly which resource you should be collecting until you actually get to your target goal.
There are puzzle pieces which are marked on the map, and new mini games every few levels. I have only come across two so far..a version of battleship guessing where your enemy is on a blind grid, and bird battle which is just a shooting game stopping birds running off with food. (not really new...just new thieves lol)
There are potions and bonuses and all the features that are familiar. Buildings and houses, spells and obstacles, John battling the foe, Max chasing the bad creatures etc, but what is new is the setting and the story and dialogue (which you still cant skip). It is new and fresh but still gives you a chuckle.
If you love TM, this is one of the best quality series you will find and it just keeps being that! Always try the demo, and give yourself time to figure out the new features, but for me, I am in TM heaven. Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

This is an extremely clever M3. In fact its too clever for me to actually enjoy. I know some just love this game amongst the type of games this developer produces, but as always the most difficult to get through, this one had me feeling brain boggled by level 8.
I had chosen 'easy' with no impassable levels, but reached this one and half way through the pop ups said 'it would have been better if you had opened the chest first level is now impassable' whilst the replay button flashed at me.
Now I don't mind repeating, but I find that it was often also very hard to actually make the matches in the first place. You know you need a rocket (match 5) or shield but the tiles just don't go that way! I did find when I repeated most levels the fall seemed kinder to me second time around?
But on the 'impassable' level I was still reeling from the 'new' mini game where a ladybug has to push diamonds into marked slots on a board. Getting her to face the right way was a challenge let alone moving the diamonds. Yes its a game, and yes its a challenge. But this was just all too much brain drain for me to actually enjoy myself, and I don't think that I am really too bad most times. I find the 'siblings' of this game much more fun and doable. At least you can skip!
I absolutely know that there would be many out there who hanker for this series and the immense challenge it always brings with it and I take my hat off to you. But for me, the 'average' player... its just too hard!
I hope you have more luck (or brain power) than I..and enjoy what of course is a very well constructed game, but sometimes developers can limit the market when they get just too clever for the enjoyment factor. I was playing on casual..not even expert. I wont recommend or not as the game is good...playing it not so? Good luck..play the demo and see how you go. Cheers!

I dont usually review HOPA"S. They just are not my favourite genre. I find I have to wade through most demo's and my lack of patience renders me frustrated and down.
This one is probably not for the seasoned HOPA player, but it's just right for me! I don't have to run around and around to find things, and amazingly I always just manage to pick up the tool I need, just right before I need it lol.
The hidden object scenes are not just lists but a fair amount of finding pairs and uncovering things to find what I need. (each one has a morph). The puzzles are fairly doable for me who is not a puzzle buff, and its not too hard to find the morphs and collectables.
The graphics are fairly bright and I am a sucker for anything set in an amusement park. The storyline is believable and you can get a shock every now and then too.
If you are looking for an outstanding game...this most likely is not it, but for those who 'only do the odd' hidden object game or like to 'keep moving'.., this is just my style so as not to rattle my patience or leave me frustrated. Not a lot of back and forth or trapesing all over. I love that even the hint and puzzle skip goes as low as one second recharge!
I will leave to others to fill in the fine details but just snuck in to say this is a very basic game...but that's why I like it lots. Enjoy.
I recommend this game!

This is a very cute 'feel good' Match 3. It incorporates quests, farm orders, farming chores, upgrades, decorating and laying out your farm..and then the fun of the match3 levels.
It has a good tutorial you can switch off, and it is always available to refer to in a book. It is the perfect range of two types of games. Luckily your farm is not a time management game and you can grow, organise, upgrade and fill orders at the speed you wish. However the match3 component can be relaxed, timed or limited moves. Your choice again.
In order to play your next M3, you must look at your orders and make sure you have all the goods harvested and in your storage to commence the level where you fill the order by getting the items for the customers. The tiles are colourful and cute and bonus explosions on screen start at just 4 tiles and upward. You can buy more with the gems you earn from playing also.
You need to keep upgrading your farm and adding animals, trees, flowers, decorations, crops, fences and paths. In between in order to produce your goods you need to water crops and trees, or feed the animals to get them to produce. Its a lot of fun.
You can move all your items around to make space or just please your eye on how you would like your farm set out, and all in all its a well thought out and smooth game. Enjoy!
I recommend this game!
