Yes its the same type of game puzzles and hidden objects in a style most already know from this developer.
I notice many talking about the ++visuals stopping it loading. Check your programs and features..and I think most will find they have some version of this and that will do. In the last two games, I just closed that window down and then it activated quite fine. That way I got to play it!
But as a game its still a nice way to relax and I found the objects quite well hidden in this one. Is it CE worthy..depends how many levels you want to play and that's it. There are HEAPS of puzzles if that is what you like..the jigsaws are really difficult! So don't give up on the loading..try ignoring and closing the visual studio prompt and see how you go both with the game and the load. Cheers.

It doesn't seem like much has changed in the gameplay here from previous adventures, and that's just how I like it for once! Its like visiting an old friend.
You are on your usual wanderings fulfilling tasks for the folk you meet along the way, figuring out how on earth to get the tools and money you need to move on, hidden treasures to spot, foraging, learning skills, (like fishing and carpentry etc)..defeating bugs and hunting..and oh yes a lot of sleeping to get enough hearts which is the main currency of most tasks lol.
I have only done the demo time so far, but its an instant buy for me. I cannot think of a more relaxing, fun way to waste my time while I wander around a fabulous land. There is the jump map and inventory easily at hand and the gameplay is very smooth. The areas open up quite quickly in this one and you soon have lots of places to visit and figure out your resource puzzles. There is the usual dialogue to read to understand what is required but it never seems annoying in this game. Its more like giving you your goals.
I have loved all this series, and this one seems like another beauty. There seems to be a dragon involved..but that may be part of the mystery..do they exist?..no one has actually seen it yet. Hmmm. Enjoy a fabulous adventure!

This game could have been good, but its clunky and no thought was given to refining some of it's annoying features.
Firstly you cannot skip the dialogue and must clickedy clack through quite long convo's. The tiles also do not fall very helpfully in the areas where you need to destroy certain tiles and you spend your time making big matches miles away on the screen to make explosives, and hope they go in the right direction, and sometimes they don't!
I played the first two levels fine..and chose from the 3 modes timed (timed, moves, relax)..on level 3 I couldn't get the tiles to behave so thought..I will toggle to relax and see what happens. Well nothing..even in relax I could still only manage 1 star! So..start another profile in ONLY relax in case it is a glitch..same thing..got to level 3 and 1 star. That in my mind is NOT relaxed, it just means you don't get the 'fail' and try again. And its pretty dissatisfying.
There are ice tiles to remove on the levels as well as gather a certain amount of different coloured tiles. Breaking the ice was what held me up..how can you if there are no matches near it? Sometimes my large match bombs did a full sweep of a row and other times did what bombs usually do..just bang all around.
Its a fairly dull game where you will build a village with money for levels and you get gems to buy your powerups each time you do a build. There are achievements that also give you gems to claim and they come fairly easily.
However the game just just didn't do anything for me to entice me to buy it. There are many more games with good colour, non clunky, and a refined in gameplay aimed at the user experience and expectation. I pass..but try the demo. Just all a bit 'blah' for me.

Not sure if they got some help or just stole a few ideas but at last after many many one or two star deserving games we finally have a game involving strategy, some level of warmth, new features and some CE bling!
Its not hard to know by sight who makes this game, but there are all new features and feeling of 'well its quite cute', and the strategy begins quite early if you head off the wrong way you will run out of resources. Basically you are making a garden in each scene after clearing the road of some materials and spurting water hydrants (you may also have to fix a mechanic's van as it is often a broken down lawn mower in your way lol) There are production buildings, water tower, materials, glove factory (because you cant work without them) and a 'motivational centre' where the aristocrat lives...(a merrymaker really) who speeds up production.
There are cute features like ducks who need Grandma Ranger's house to be built to round them up, beehives to restore, the flowers to plant, and there is money to collect along the way, but beware picking up the coins can take time and materials from your goals. With the loot you can do up 'The Manor'..(remind you of some other garden game inc with money on the path and a scene to do up?..it even looks like it!) But the graphics are not as good.
There are only two modes, timed and relaxed, there are achievements, nine music tracks, and concept art. On each level there is a small treasure to find that will add a few seconds to your timer if you are running out. There are 40 levels and only ten bonus (called secret levels) they are just 'more levels' but they are mixed in on the screen so you don't have a 'main game' and then the bonus ones. And most of all..finally..A STRATEGY GUIDE! both text and numbers.
Such a great surprise to find the huge leap in quality of this game, but still not of the quality of the game many of the ideas have come from, so not 5 stars, but I really do like it and its keeping me really thinking. If you watch your goals, often you don't have to complete clearing things, and you have to ignore gathering things that you don't need too. So for once I have bought a game from this crew after such a long time of 'same same' games...something new! Enjoy!.

I could not have possibly either enjoyed nor been able to progress in this game without the help of internet walkthroughs. By typing in the game name I found several step by step, scene by scene text and picture walkthroughs.
However I find I am still playing the game, as I still have to remember a chapter at a time as leaving before solving to the end of the level wipes out your progress on that scene leaving you having to repeat and redo any brainy stuff you have already achieved when you come back in. Printing out a walkthrough would be the easiest way and then you don't have to leave the game screen. I am playing an 'inbetween' strategy of only reading the walkthrough and then playing, leaving me still to have to work some things out as I forget a lot of it lol.
An extremely quizzical adventure of daring do to get out of the tower, with no hand holding other than as Pennmom said the 'areas of interest' by clicking the ? Its extremely difficult and takes a lot of pondering. This game will not be for everyone and would not have been for me without WT help, but it is very clever and I got so immersed I am really enjoying it.

I wasn't sure if this was just a sweetie pie game and the gameplay would make up for it. Well no. By the time I reached a hidden object level where the 6 keys I had to find were gigantic I think I knew who the target players are.
The game only has two modes. Expert or Relax, once again another clue of its target..I played in expert which I normally dont do with adult games, and when I pushed a point and tried to fail, I decided not to pay the extra $$ to play on..and it actually rewarded me for my effort by giving me money for my effort! Then back to repeat.
There is Captain Hooks room to do up with your loot, but you don't choose..he popps up when you have enough money to buy a piece of furniture..and when you buy that you get your bonuses, horizontal or vertical lines destroying rockets, electro blasts, and large matches make a bomb. etc At one stage a bunch of extremely hairy spiders showed up..but I only saw them once in the demo..as they politely told me after I had blown them up that 'they didn't feel well so could I please leave them alone' Gotta laugh
One thing that tipped me to it being more for youngsters (apart from the fairytale story lol)..was whether I finished with 1 move or 20..I got three stars. No losers here lol
So try the demo. Its not for me, but it will have a time and place for certain groups and ages. I don't dislike it..but not for adults IMHO.

I must have changed my star rating on this game twenty times even down to 2 stars before I settled on 'liking' it. It seems to be a FTP conversion where on other platforms other than BFG you would probably pay real money at times.
The graphics are just lovely, vibrant and full of colour both on the build screen and the tiles. The game has three modes, relax, timed and limited moves. I began on 'timed' and boy was it tough! The good thing is if you cant pay your way out of a level to progress after failing ...you can toggle to relax and repeat it to move on and not get totally frustrated. I found timed too stressful but didn't have much more success with limited moves although my stress levels abated lol.
Some of the FTP features did help me at times. When I didn't have enough money ..guess what..up popped the casino to which I have never lost a spin lol...to help me finish..but sometimes even with that it was not enough.
The 'bonus' helpers like a hammer a bomb or lightening are not always just 'there to explode'..you must match them with a tile of the same colour to make them work (not lightening)..but large matches will get them on the board. At one stage a herd of walruses popped up and they then continue to appear on the board like vines creep and cover tiles..and you cant turn them off. By the time you have half your board covered in walruses and unmatchable bonuses..at least you can grab one of your hammers..(which you pay for) and actually set the bonus explosions off!
So its a complicated game, a delight to watch, as you build your resort. I counted 42 buildings or resort features to do, and there are acheivements and earnings as you complete them and play the boards. They range from whole amusement parks, hotels, bistro's, shops, weather stations and many more.
Its not the old Imperial Island we used to love with its great strategy. There is no level map..and you just keep repeating till you give in, and really are at the mercy of the tiles a lot of the times I am enjoying giving myself a hard time and trying to reach my goals in both timed and limited moves..so I guess I am getting value there, and the colourful graphics make me smile. This could be any game of the new gen match 3 world..not really Imperial Island we know.
You must try the demo on this, and do the tutorial or you will not understand what's required. I will actually get it with a coupon because I do have that choice of how much and how long I wish to play a level before giving into relax and moving on. Cheers

As part of the series 'Travel to.." you are now setting foot in my home territory! Welcome!
This is a straightforward old fashioned hidden object game smattered with mini games such as a jigsaw, mahjong, match the animals, and a chain type match to remove tiles game. In each scene there is a 'lazy turtle' to collect, and you will play the scene in standard word mode twice..then silhouette twice, then jumbled letters twice..and round in a loop as much as you like.
There is a good 'magnifier' to help, and the objects don't move around so you get quite good at it. There is a relax mode but also timed of 3 or 10 mins for those who like a challenge. Its a straight standard HOG, but no glitches and something to do when relaxing. I do wish I had a choice on speeding up the hint button..but its ok.
It is the only travel I too will do for a while as my city and state go back into lockdown..so enjoy your virtual journey and I will meet you under the clocks as we say!
Take on new time management challenges and help three young archaeologists unearth the mysteries of the past and piece together the story of the brave Xi Niu!

This is a fairly innovative game with lots of varying features going on. Some require you to swipe to complete a movement such as up and down for gathering water or sideways for cutting crops, others require you to deliver items to the workmate with the bubble of it over their heads. There are animals that require feeding..but with the same crop that someonelse may be requesting too so your strategy is who and when. There are artifacts to find and the movement is very smooth and realistic when undertaking the tasks
It is timed by the day..start and end, and you have goals you must meet like 'reach X amount of stars' or find the mouse. Yes..that TM mouse is in each scene to find.
I found the pace rather slow and dialogue heavy but you can skip. Sometimes you are just watching someone make a cup of tea before going to work! I had trouble navigating my way out of the game, but eventually found the right buttons, play with them all to discover them. There is a level map..but I couldn't find a strategy guide or achievements so not sure what constitutes the CE value at all? I also could not find a 'relax' tab..in the options. There are 5 profiles you can use. No moving on on until you meet the goals for the day either and you will have to keep trying. I hope it doesn't get too hard past the demo!
Its a sweet game and I don't usually play the 'task and people' type of TM, but this one has me rather fascinated to the point where I have purchased it for the 'novelty' factor. Do try the demo to get the feel for it, but it will be a nice time waster for me, I just hope I can keep meeting the goals and get to do the whole game? I don't think it is CE worthy at all, but it has me a bit hooked against my will.

Well these games have stopped being called 'Legend of' and renamed to be called 'Tales of', and that's about the only change that has been made at all.
If you don't own any of these you will probably consider it a three star game as they have many, many levels so they do give value, but they also become very boring very quickly.
I own a few already with absolutely similar tiles, tasks and gameplay. You just need to look at the tiles to know if you already own one. I wont be buying this one as I honestly don't think I have even finished some of the others. Please devs stop just churning out the same games over and over. Its starts to border on insulting that you mass produce without showing any sign of actual care or nurture for your product. The only thing is the length of the game that has any plus factor.
