Everything about it is juvenile, the little cartoony characters are goofy looking to the point of being irritating. The two heroes are straight out of a pre-school book. There is not one iota of anything that I feel an adult can enjoy in this game. The pictures are extremely small, the basic nonogram style, and good luck at trying to guess what they are without the label to identify them. The demo was utterly boring and non-challenging. Why is BFG so fond of scraping the bottom of the barrel? Quality games, once the norm on this site, have sadly become a rarity!
I don't recommend this game.

5 well-deserved stars every time. I love this series. Graphics are great. The boards are unique and contain colorful tiles, fire and other obstacles, and ladybugs that keep the game interesting. The layouts and music are similar to Laruaville but the game is still different and the story always changes.
I love the various challenges and a game requiring strategy is all the more fun. This one is a great relief from the usual Match 3 fare that bores us to death. I play just the Spot the Difference and Hidden Object mini-games as they aren't so quick and easy. The story is always an important mission that Eric needs to accomplish and I always enjoy the building project that is included.
This is a wonderful Match 3 game as far as I'm concerned. It is colorful, has fun features, several difficulty options, a story that adds extra interest, hints to rescue you from a tough spot, easy to understand instructions and I've never run into any tech issues. I own all the Spellarium games and appreciate the quality we get from this developer, it never falters. Another thing I love is that Spellarium changes up a little with each new game and we aren't bombarded with them all the time. I really am excited when I see a new one has finally arrived!
I recommend this game!

I've played similar games, being sucked into the movie and having to battle our way back into the real world. This one isn't much different, just cowboys instead of monsters. Hopefully the game is action-packed, being in the Old West, and doesn't become a big yawn fest as in most other Domini creations. I hope Domini has hopped back on the quality wagon with this new series and doesn't take us on another ride into Boredom Land. We certainly need a change in these HOPA games to keep them alive and kicking!
Right off are the same 15, 15 and 70 things to collect and this time we decorate a saloon. All collectibles were easy to find and the morphs were too easy to spot. The HOP scenes were dark but were a breeze and it felt like I've played them all before, the Match 3 was simple. Puzzles can be played in Easy or Hard Mode, I like that option of switching the challenge. What I don't like is having the solution played out in front of me if I choose to skip a puzzle.
The graphics were sharp but once again not crazy about the unrealistic colors. The scenes were full of items from the pioneer days but some just didn't belong there. The characters were well rendered. The costumes for the ladies and gents were mostly correct for that era and the outlaws donned a Clint Eastwood look. The voices varied from good to just okay, sometimes I think voice-actors just don't take their job seriously enough. I liked the music with the guitar.
Again the demo was just lots of tasks and time-filler activities that kept me from getting to the action. Is the Diamond Ghost the culprit behind all the murders or will we come face to face with something worse, a REAL bad guy?? I love showdowns. I'm tempted to keep going and find out more about Redsand but I will not buy the CE. The quality of Domini CEs doesn't justify the extra cost. If I do jump off the fence I will pick up the SE version with a coupon.
The Old West theme makes this storyline worth looking into. The demos should provide more actual gameplay to give us a more rounded look at what's to come. I can't decide to purchase just by the puzzles and HOPs and activities in the trial time. Give it a try, it's an easy game for all ages and skill levels with the variety of play modes.

because it actually improved a little. Can you believe it? The 64 images can all be viewed by completing the last one in each level so I did that, hoping to find something positive.
Although many were again centered on the screen, there were quite a few more elaborate ones this time. Also a counter under the scroll shows total number and total remaining of the color being used, which is a great feature. The color wheel always a big help. It changes the background color and the numbered areas in the images, making them easier to spot.
Some pics sported a huge number of colors but they still ended up being "lifeless". Very poor color combos made them dull and uninteresting. For example one pic had 68 colors, 41 of which were various shades of boring brown. Paint By Numbers colors are always ugly plus the heavy black lines should be much thinner or, better yet, be eliminated. The lines and flat, dull colors compromise the quality.
The subject matter is more varied this time but still too many are juvenile. I would appreciate a more mature assortment to keep the artist in me entertained. Everyone has different tastes so the devs should offer a better balance of challenge. Can't really do without the Hint and Zoom Features. The almost invisible specks of color hiding right under my nose would be impossible to find. This annoys me, forcing me to "cheat" too often. Many times the colors don't take hold, multiple clicks are required which is so frustrating.
Even though Paint By Numbers12 is a bit better, more creative thought and a sharper talent for color is needed. In their eagerness to make $$ I think some devs skip over the quality and whip out these games, focusing only on earnings. The result is never good. I'm sticking with my fave Art By Numbers. Also check out Modern Art. You will quickly see the difference between quality and the mediocre Paint By Numbers.
Even though I am critical, I realize the appeal of this series to many others. Everyone has different tastes and what elates one will ruffle the feathers of someone else. This style of art is great if the subject matter is varied enough, elaborate images are imaginative and the color palette is vast and beautiful. Let's hope for more changes or a different style from this dev.

The synopsis claims that this is a pulse-pounding adventure, which I would say is pretty far-fetched! It's a typical Domini game, same weird colors, same tasks, same few collectibles. The activities did not keep it from becoming boring. But it was slightly more entertaining than our previous Domini game.
I love detective stories, I get so tired of fantasy tales full of witches and demons. "Power of Love" is the second installment in this series. Randall and Eleanor each have a special talent for solving cases and together their unique skills help to bring the bad guy down. It was fun for a while but the story never really took off for me. Again Domini seems to miss the mark on a good, solid adventure.
The characters were colorful, facial expressions and voices could've been better, but were not distracting. Nothing out of the norm for HOPs. None were challenging but I loved the interactivity. The mini-games again outnumber the HOPs and can be played in Easy or Hard Mode. Not much difference in challenge but it's fun to try both. Since these are HOPA games I'd like to see more HOP scenes than puzzles.
Hint and Skip times can be set to zero seconds in Custom Mode. The game's pace is average, no tech issues, graphics are good except for the blues and greens everywhere. Scenes not overloaded with too much to take in, which made the game more easy-peasy. It would be great to have a more realistic color palette for games not from fantasyland.
I don't think "Power of Love" qualifies as a CE. Domini CEs are too short on the extras and length. A variety of play modes allows any skill level to enjoy solving this criminal case as tag team detectives. Although it's not a rousing detective adventure it seems to offer enough for anyone looking to find a kidnapping looney-tune and call it a day!

before the next ones are opened it would be wonderful to have appealing images to work with and pretty colors. I liked the cat very much but it obviously would require more than the demo time. I painted a bit of each color on each image and didn't care for the small variety of shades.
It's impossible to complete level one and get to the other pics. So as it's always a blind purchase, hoping for the best, I decided to stop. The devs get the $$ but what are WE getting? I love the challenge and time involved on each piece. It becomes a long game in spite of just 64 images. The more elaborate ones are especially rewarding. I don't like juvenile pics and I really don't want to color cars and clocks, etc.
Pixel Art displeases me for several reasons: The scroll jumps forward when trying to select a color. It often takes many clicks to pick up a color. The various greys for the numbered areas are hard on the eyes. High on my con list are, having only half a second to view the finished image and it being zapped down to a bit larger than an oversized postage stamp. No matter how beautiful the colors and subject may be, the quality disappears as we are left with a very small, blurred image.
I own 12 Pixel Arts, have finished only a few. But I will be the first in line if some changes are made to jazz up this series that I once loved. It needs a few of those bells and whistles to make it more enjoyable for me. My ideal quiet time is computerized painting and jigsaws, and my 2 kitties don't get to knock everything to the floor as they help me have fun.
Pixel Art is very relaxing, music combines with faint nature sounds, subject matter is varied enough to appeal to older children and adults. I'm just not crazy about it anymore and have found another much more entertaining.

unless subject matter and color palette improves. When Modern Art arrived it was really different from the other color art games at the time. I'm not so thrilled with it anymore. I think a few tweaks here and there are much needed and please do away with the first level issue.
I liked only one of the pictures in level one, the tree. It was more elaborate and interesting than the others, but the color choices ruined it. Many of them were so similar I couldn't tell where one ended and another began. Very unappealing shades ranging from bland and monotone to very black and more black. I painted a bit of several other pics to check out the colors and found more boring, ugly shades.
The challenge as usual is non-existent, painting was done in a flash even with trying to take it slower. I'm glad the color wheel is still featured, it makes seeing the numbered areas much easier and the colored backgrounds are really nice. I like the textured finishes but because of the unappealing art I think they make little difference in the overall quality of the images.
There was no desire to complete the first level to unlock the others pictures. I'm not willing to take a chance that the good stuff lies ahead. I've been disappointed once too often so I'm passing on today's release. I'd rather invest in the paint by numbers game that is 100% Happy Dance with their unique images, yummy color palette and fun features.
Modern Art is still a lovely game with 64 of both simple and busy images, a few juvenile, that require little time and no challenge to paint. Sometimes simple is just what we need for a sigh of relief from a long day. I like that little break from HOPAs and Match 3s, but for me Modern Art doesn't offer enough subject variety or color. Hopefully the artist in you will really be pleased with Modern Art 8.

Nothing surprising about that ! What a shame, another dreary adventure with boring decorating, uncreative mini-games, leaving me to wonder if it will ever get any better. The arrival of Number 48! Are we destined for 48 more?!
I feel no need to keep buying Fantasy Mosaics. It makes more sense to save the $$ and dig into the oldies. There have been only a few changes since its beginning and I think they were color additions. Mosaic games, for me, are relaxing but challenging and it's fun to see the images emerge. They are a nice escape from my usual HOPA games. This series used to be one of my favorites.
The pictures aren't as cute anymore and the colors aren't as vibrant. The 7 tile styles are pretty plain but it's fun to try them all. The graphics are okay, there are 3 game modes. the music is cheery and we have the same features and tools. There is still no Save Feature which has been requested umpteen times, but that comes as no surprise.
Fantasy Mosaics has become "old hat", the devs need to come up with something new to keep it interesting and entertaining. How about considering some of the reviewers' suggestions? Pennmom always comes up with some excellent ones. It is hard to remain a fan when you just ignore us. There new devs on BFG now, with mosaic games that really outshine what you are offering. The fun just isn't there anymore.
There are plenty of levels, all can be replayed, images are recognizable and labeled, challenge grows as the game progresses but not outlandishly, change game modes and tile choices whenever you like. The minimal features work fine, never any tech issues. It is a good game but needs an overdue facelift.
Fantasy Mosaics has many devoted fans, I own 20 of these games but just had to call it quits. The Penguin family doesn't add any "cute" to the series anymore. Would love to see a new family, preferably one with a better sense for decorating and some new types of mini-games. Some updates and more creativity would surely bring the ratings back up.

Although I didn't enjoy it as much as "Atlantis", it's still definitely a 5 star game. Of the 4 game modes I tend to play Normal and Relaxed most often, but like Hard Mode if things get a little boring. Jewel Match games always offer something special which keeps us coming back for more.
"Summertime" has lots to keep us entertained with a fun variety of solitaire styles, quests to solve and trophies to earn. The graphics are bright and colorful. Birds and butterflies are part of the scenery, there are 20 to be unlocked. They are pretty but all the flitting around is a little distracting. I didn't find the cards very attractive, but they do depict the summertime theme. There are the usual obstacle cards and tool cards to overcome them, and the extensive shop has everything we need to help us throughout the game. The Gold Card adds more cards to the Stock pile, the number on the card determines how many are added to the Stock. I like this feature.
With 200+ levels, the Challenge and Supersize levels and Mahjong there's more than enough for many, many hours of fun and relaxation. I especially love the restoration of beautiful landscapes and buildings and the task of collecting the gems to restore them, strategy is a handy skill here as the levels become more challenging.
I think this is a beautiful game but I feel no need for another so similar to the Jewel Match solitaires I already own. These are far superior to other solitaire games out there. The beauty, features and replay value can't be beat. I know I will likely pick this up at a later date but for now I have lots of Jewel Match fun to keep me busy.
I recommend this game!

Just another Domini game with the same activities, same needed items found in ridiculous places, same color wash in each scene. Again 70 whatevers to purchase something and the usual 15 morphs and collectibles. That may be reliable fun for most but for me it has become boring and done to death!
Yes, the story is a little twisty. It is a little better than the last one but it is by no means one of Domini's best and certainly doesn't qualify as becoming a classic. 5 stars is no longer the norm for Domini games and I know many fans will disagree. Something has gone missing along the way and it has really made a big difference in the quality of the games.
The characters were well rendered, I thought their costumes were creatively designed in fairytale fashion and suited their personalities. There's an assortment of potions and spells to busy yourself with and the magic wand helper conjures up more magic for difficult situations. The graphics are good with lots of fantasy things to gaze at. There's a good variety of interactive HOPs, puzzles can be played in hard or easy mode, some of which I've seen in other games. Even in hard mode the challenge wasn't too bad.
This Fairy Godmother Tale is visually fine in spite of the Domini colors, there's plenty to keep you busy and there's a new set of problems to tackle when a sly princess resorts to her witchy talents to claim Prince Oliver's affections. It's an easy game and will appeal to fantasy fans of all ages. I just wish Domini would see the need for changes and ramp up the entertainment value to the level it once was.
And I also have the same question about the same someone, as mentioned in Zangeri's review. It has been going on for ages, as is the unfair way our reviews are posted. Every review should be posted as quickly as possible and that is simply not happening. It isn't right to hold onto them and then post them in a group while one or two are posted right away and sit there by themselves for far too long.
