and this is my second attempt at submitting this review, Big Fish!! There are no options or fun features, a very brief tutorial. I was expecting a fun game since needlework is in the title but didn't find any so I was pretty disappointed,
Colors are chosen from numbered spools along the bottom of the screen. The cells contain corresponding numbers. It's pixel style with "thread" instead of paint. To see the numbered cells you have to zoom in otherwise you see just a big blacvk and grey blob. Zoom in and out, move around the screen as in other paint games. The numbered cells are easy to read on the white background. Images are time consuming.
The colors are so dark and ugly. Do they morph into pretty ones once the image is finished? If not, this game is really a stinker! I aborted the demo about 30 minutes in because it was boring and void of color. Not inspired to keep going and also it would be impossible for me to finish an image without rushing like crazy, which takes away the relaxation factor of a paint game.
Each of the three chapters contains 24 very juvenile images, The second chapter is dedicated solely to desserts. You can start with any chapter and begin with any image, you are not locked out of anything. I just couldn't even force myself to hang in there for very long. This is a definite pass for me because it is so bare-bones and colorless. You might enjoy this different type of paint game but there's just not enough appeal there for my liking.
I don't recommend this game.

Nature's beauty seems to be limitless and Tiny Little Lion captures it nicely in a variety of ways in a fun HO game. The superb graphics make the locations stand out in color and detail, no matter what the scene involves. You'll appreciate the many excellent features and the A+ magnifier which along with the great zoom option makes searching so much easier for those super difficult items. The HO styles, morphs, collectibles, games, build a garden, plant trivia - all fun, all quality.
The CE is my choice for the extra locations although I feel that 6 aren't enough, still it makes the CE a good value when combined with the other extras, I own the first edition and don't really need this one but it's hard for me to pass up a super quality HO game that is also so beautiful.
I recommend this game!

The entire demo except for a few moments was laden with tasks, the norm for Domini games. I'm no longer surprised at how silly some of them can be. Today it's the pumpkin replacing the cart wheel. Nearly everything I click needs to be repaired or a part is missing, even in the HO scenes. It just became too much, over and over, got tired of it even though I completed the demo, which was tedious.
Graphics were just on the edge of being great, the characters were lavishly attired, nicely rendered, voices all sounded fine. I saw little of the adventure but suddenly I'm on a ship! Not sure how that came about, must have dozed off from all those tasks! Then I pop up at a ceremony and in a couple of minutes the demo is over. I felt like I was fast forwarded to the end, like something was missing.
There were several HOPs in the demo, quite interactive and took some time. The scenes were dark, some items very well concealed, some not recognizable. I enjoyed the puzzles more than usual, liking them more than the HOPs. The Match 3 hasn't changed, the lock and chain is back. The collectibles were the usual number, the roses were difficult to find because they were small and the locations were very dark.
Being a muskateers story, I would think it should contain lots of action and adventure. However it's a Domini game, which leads me to have doubts that the tasks will taper off enough to leave room for any of it. I didn't enjoy the demo, so for me it will be a pass. Others may have fun with it so I can recommend it to muskateer fans.
I recommend this game!

It's refreshing to see something of the Pacific Northwest. It is very beautiful and has lots of interesting sites and history, but our HO games always overlook this region. BoomZap is doing it justice and the fun facts are great.
Graphics are super sharp, colors bright and perfect. The scenes are full of everything you would expect and lots you would not. Each location provides a list of items, some interactive, there is a variety of list styles. Find the key in each scene to unlock a fun fact. The items are well hidden/blended, even those in plain view were sometimes overlooked. I played all the difficulty modes and found even the easy mode to be a good challenge, custom mode not so great because of longer recharge times, the others were typical. Had to use hint too often, irritating.
It was hard to hold on to and place the pieces of some items, i.e. bring yarn to cat, place bird in cage. Could have worked smoother. Items are generally small and mixed in with so many others that you can't hurry your search. The challenge is very good. Some items are in areas that are quite dark, also. The magnifier and zoom feature will be used quite often. Loved the mini games, especially liked the eagle jigsaw and they can be skipped if you wish.
The game plays like the others from BoomZap. Plenty of levels but I thought the CE was a little short on extra content. Still, I enjoyed the demo very much and will purchase with today's sale. I especially appreciate this dev, always deliver quality games. They did a great job concealing the HOs and the challenge is what makes it so much fun for me.
I recommend this game!

You can't miss with this beautiful Match 3. It is loaded with a plethora of levels, games and puzzles, and the build/decorate feature adds to the fun. The game is a visual treat for me with the glittery softly colored tiles. The boards are mobile and moving from one to another is necessary to finish the levels.
You can choose your challenge. I always play Limited Moves which keeps me cautious, slowing me down as I am a fast player. I find strategy to be my best assurance for success. This is really a top notch game, I own the entire series and replay the games often throughout the year.
The features and options are excellent. Gathering resources, filling your treasure chest, collecting coins are part of the fun. Graphics are always sharp and gorgeous, nice colors, appealing tile art. I always choose the CE for the bonus levels and 60 of them is definitely worth the price, imo. But even without the extra content I can't imagine it altering the value and enjoyment of this great Match 3 game.
I recommend this game!

I thought "Oh boy, a game that requires more thinking, less random clicking." My excitement was short lived. The entire demo, except for a few moments with a victim and an officer was task after task and then some. The same old grind. The time was suddenly expired so nothing exciting or interesting to report. All I did was pretty much nothing!
The graphics were very good and the characters were well rendered, moving more fluidly and speaking more naturally than usual. The locations were mostly dark unless indoors. The HOP scenes were also dark, making it hard to distinguish items. However, the items were crazy easy to find despite that and I felt they weren't very creative. I played a couple of puzzles, they were more challenging but still on the simple side. I liked the very quick response of the game, no lagging, no multiple clicks on items, great map.
The synopsis suggests grisly murders, lots of mystery, graphic depictions. But I wouldn't count on it ! Game descriptions are always super exaggerated. All I did in the trial time was fix and replace this and that, saw very little of the story. Hopefully, as the game continues it will offer all of the action and crime solving that is boasted here. Elephant is usually reliable for delivering above average games.
I earned a few achievements but didn't experience any collectibles or extras. I read in the beginning that Bonus Content is not available in the demo version, so that was a let down. Makes it a little harder to decide whether or not the CE is a good deal. Anyway, I'll just wait and see what other reviewers, who have played the entire game, have to say.
I recommend this game!

does not create an engaging story so you aren't missing much by skipping it. Samurai Solitaire is an ordinary solitaire game. The Japanese artstyle and pastel colors soften the graphics, it is a nice effect, but I didn't care for the fonts and card backs. The music was light but it soon became annoying. Usually the Japanese style is pleasing to me, but it doesn't seem to work for this game. The simple card designs and graphics didn't display much of the traditional beauty.
The first level was the perfect set-up that played all the table cards in numerical order. Didn't like that but it earned a big amount of coins to start you off. Nothing special about the boosters and the obstacle cards were easy to overcome. After the first couple of levels the decks got skinnier and too many cards had to be turned before a playable one came up, so that leaves cards on the table. It is unfair, having to replay the levels when it is for this reason. The shop is expensive and you get nothing special in return.
There are 200 levels, trophies, mini games, not a huge amount of dialogue but it can be skipped. Again the synopsis goes way overboard, boasting tons of game types and difficulty levels. For me the challenge was created by sparse card decks and too many unplayable cards. That is not a good or fun challenge. Other than that, the game was easy.
I hate to end a demo early but 15 levels were enough to see that I would not be happy with this game. It was boring, the replays were tedious, the story didn't matter. Like the first Samurai Solitaire, it's basic, not too bad but not enough there to keep it interesting through 200 levels. I feel it's a good game for those who don't take their solitaire too seriously, and the strategy and challenge take a backseat to the simple fun.
I recommend this game!

I'm an avid cat lover but I do not love these puzzles. Most of the images are dark, some are blurry, all are disappointing because the quality just isn't there. There are lots of orange cats, not much variety in breeds.
The random photos are a very poor example of our feline friends and all their cuteness. They all look sad or bored or tired. Many are just laying around or in the shadows. I've been a cat mom forever and my unprofessional stash of pics puts these to shame. It looks like someone was sent on assignment- "Find cats, anything will do, just get lots of them, nothing special. No, not 1001, only 500."
The synopsis claims brilliantly rendered images, tons of game modes and difficulty levels, gorgeous graphics. NONE of that is true. Yep, I'm quite critical because this dev never offers any changes and never delivers what they claim! I keep checking the demos because I want and hope to find something new and positive. Never happens! So my reviews are not rosey-posey.
If you're a fan of this dev and are a cat-loving puzzler you will probably enjoy this collection. If you want quality and a fun variety of kitties to tickle your puzzle fancy, this set will not do it for you.

When will Domini realize that this type of game is not winning them any stars? It is nothing more than an HO game. That's it! No story, no adventure, no need for a detective. It is not CE material, imo. I played only half the demo, quitting because of boredom and simplicity.
The graphics are somewhat dark, items are mostly large and easy to find, there's a variety of HO styles. One scene required matching but the items didn't match exactly, hint was required a few times. Several clicks were needed, too often, on an item or to continue to next level. No fun features, sparse tutorial, not that one was necessary anyway. The characters speak as if they think we don't understand English, deliberately slow and loud. Poor voice acting.
Don't expect anything new or great here. The game is like their last HOG. Nothing to justify labeling it as a CE. If you can overlook what this game is lacking and be happy with endless HOs, you'll enjoy it if you are a die-hard Domini fan. For me, it's just another indication that Domini is on the skids.
I don't recommend this game.

A beautiful game, thanks to our fine feathered friends. The graphics are brightly colored and razor sharp. There's lots to do, it's all fun, games are great. I love the HO scenes and Bingo. With the CE version you get a very generous amount of extra content. The game is well worth the CE price but the SE surely won't leave you displeased
I recommend this game!
