The demo was busy with tasks, not an extreme amount but the things I needed were in the stupidest places. I would really appreciate some logic once in a while. The scenes frequently changed so the game moved along at a good pace.
It didn't get interesting until Rachel found Michael trapped in a mental hospital. But as he was about to "spill the beans" he was struck dead by a paranormal creature. And Rick (was it really him??) made a brief appearance. That is where my demo ended.
So now I'm actually curious enough to continue my search with Rachel and her sidekick. The story seems to have more substance than the last few. I won't purchase the very sparse CE but will buy the SE. In my opinion the game, so far, shows no signs of being a qualifier for Editor's Choice.
I recommend this game!

52 puzzles. Colors and images are really beautiful. You can review the entire collection up front and sequence doesn't matter. The tutorial is not complicated. We know in advance that Levels 1-20 are Easy, 21-38 are Medium, 39-52 are Hard. There are 3 Play Modes. I played in Easy with hints, they were slow to recharge. I managed to complete only 3 puzzles in the demo. It was a struggle but what a great feeling of accomplishment!
I would really love this game if I had more patience. It's very challenging and I'm sure very enjoyable for the experts who love logic-based puzzles. I do love them but this game would drive me bonkers! It's something different from Graphium Studios. I liked everything about it except the frustration! It won't be a purchase for me, but it's a quality game that I think many of you will appreciate.
I recommend this game!

After my review of the CE demo I tried the SE and still stand at 2 stars. The game has plenty going for it if you love HOGs. There's a big variety of HO styles and many are interactive. The puzzles are very good and challenging. HO items are mostly large, not tiny little things that require super vision or a magnifier. You earn stars that are for decorating rooms, one per chapter. The artwork is really nice, there's a story though not very interesting.
I didn't care for the game for several reasons. The scenes were quite dark, creating a challenge that was a nuisance. Some items were hidden in almost total darkness. The graphics were dark throughout. I had to click on items at least twice most times. The story wasn't much, felt it was unnecessary. The game, for me, became tedious. Domini fans may enjoy it, especially if HOGs are a favorite.
Play solitaire and solve the mysteries of the world of dreams!

The mystery/adventure is only in the description. Unless the devs can do away with the Gold Cards their solitaire games will always be a no purchase, for me. As usual the title has nothing to do with the game content. It's just a high-low solitaire played in Newbie/Pro modes, remove all Gold Cards for a perfect game. It means cards will remain on the table, that to me is NOT a perfect game. My goal is to always remove ALL cards. Strategy is wasted on this game, imo, because it's all set up to force you to play the Gold Cards. There's a wee bit more color to the graphics this time but still too dark, 9 unattractive card backs, hard to make out any detail in the artwork.
I always have the same complaints but I check out the demo just in case the dev has decided that sprucing up the game with some fun features and eliminating those Gold Cards might be a good idea and gain fans, and more stars. So far that never really seems to be a priority with them.
Some may enjoy just a basic solitaire to pass a bit of free time, but I enjoy the challenge of a solitaire that lets me clear all the cards and feel the satisfaction of the win.
I don't recommend this game.
What would someone do for a taste of unfathomable power?

It just wasn't much fun. A misspelled word in huge print, mounth instead of month, at start of game was surprising. Sloppy proof-reading. The graphics aren't super sharp but the colors are rich and appropriate. Abundant tasks, some very silly, like using sleeping powder to calm a flying rug. I think the hand holding was way overboard. If you don't play in a difficult mode there is no challenge. Even in the harder modes I tried, it was minimal.
The characters looked great, loved the costumes and colors. The voice acting not so good, expression/emotion was too over emphasized. There was a bit of swearing going on which is unusual in a game, seemed unnecessary. The scenes were mostly dark, no brightness anywhere. The HOPs and games were sparse, not enjoyable. HOP scenes were dark, puzzles very easy.
Visual glitches in the marketplace closed down my demo with 15 min left to play. When I restarted it took me back to where it left off. The scenes were mostly dark, other than the big easy to spot runes, items were obscured. I never saw much of Ursula's mission to reclaim her powers. The demo was slow and boring. The story is interesting but there was nothing to indicate any adventure, werewolves, or anything magical or mysterious to look forward to.
So I'm betting this is another bland, too-easy Domini game that I should avoid if I'm looking for good entertainment. But Domini fans might love it, especially if werewolves are involved.
Complete wonderful works of art, and let your creativity shine!

but nothing has changed to improve the quality of entertainment in Pixel Art. Still being unable to view any images beyond Level One makes it a risky purchase. The demo is impossible to finish so I can see what is ahead.
The grey cells do not make painting enjoyable as they are of various shades and make the numbers hard to pick out. It's tedious and adds a challenge I don't favor. That, along with the blurriness and small size of the finished images are always the biggest let-downs. The colors still are not the greatest, bringing very little life to the images. If the majority of the pieces are juvenile and of boring subject matter as in the past, this would not be a good choice for a fun, relaxing time-out. It lacks appeal in too many areas, at least for me.
I don't recommend this game.

A game with cats, great way to start my day. The only memorable ones I have played are Ghost Towns: Cats of Ulthar and Christmas Stories: Puss in Boots.
I like the storyline of this one, I think being a knight is quite fitting and according to Sunnyglow's review I think the Bonus Chapter will be worthwhile. The graphics are really nice. I love the art and colors, and the cat characters look great. The demo was fun and I didn't mind the tasks as much as usual. There are just enough HOPs and puzzles, for me, and the ones in the demo were fun, average challenge, good variety.
The CE is short on extra content and length which seems to be the norm these days. If not for the Bonus Chapter I would wait for the SE. I rarely buy CEs anymore, too much $$ for too little, Anyway, looking forward to a fun time with this game, the story will be a nice change from the usual topics and characters we get every day.
I recommend this game!

Play Jigsaw or Swap modes. You can also choose number of pieces. Pick your preferred hint level which is a very useful feature for many of these puzzles because of photo quality. I love most of the images but don't think they are well suited for puzzles. Some of the categories are not interesting, ones that should be very appealing just are not, i.e. animals and art. The game has lots of nice features and everything works smoothly. I especially like the types of pieces as they add uniqueness and more challenge to the puzzles. However the challenge is already overboard, imo, due to the subject matter and color. I always love challenge but not when it is this kind.
I really like Tiny Little Lion and enjoy their games but their puzzles miss the mark, for me, even with the countries they represent and all the categories offered.
Take an amazing trip to Europe's most iconic locations!

I own most of the Big Adventure games, they consistently provide lots of playtime and a good challenge. Even though they are all the same I still can't resist a new one. The graphics are always very sharp, colors bright and clear. There are all kinds of things in the very busy scenes. Some too large, some too small, most are well blended, and some are hard to recognize in the darker areas. The souvenir collectibles and the silhouetted items are harder for me to spot. There's a variety of list styles. I enjoyed the trivia facts and liked the games.
I don't really need another HO game but Big Adventure is one of our better series and the extra locations and games make the CE a good deal. Reliable quality with each game.
I recommend this game!

I am not a glutton for punishment and this game is just too painful. I couldn't withstand much of the demo, although I gave it a gallant try. It has not one iota of fun or sensible gameplay, it was horribly slow and boring. I've played other games similar in style and I think those also lacked creative entertainment, just not as much as this one!! Let's hope we aren't going to see any more like it.
I don't recommend this game.
