Very basic HOG. It's just hidden object scenes folks, no frills but with a couple of light puzzles in the HOS and some very fun, unique and interesting mini games in between the HOS.
Very clean, lush graphics and creepy music. Quick charging unlimited hints and slowish skip on mini games.
I recommend this game!

There are lots of interesting scenes and they are never repeated. There are unlimited hints and a nice gentle mystery running throughout. There are some mini puzzles that you zoom in on, in HOS and mini games in between HOS but they are all doable and skippable. It felt very fast paced and linear and was mostly just hidden object scenes.
I just love the uniqueness of the invisible men and women doing all manner of things, eating, drinking, sunbathing, cooking, playing musical instruments etc. But of course, everything is not as it seems...
I recommend this game!

I found the gameplay a little boring and tedious, not smooth at all. It was also too puzzley which stalled the pace of the game.
The atmosphere and environmental sounds were good and there was a very fast charging hint and skip button. The bonus game was much more humorous than the main, better story and cut scenes and a smoother well paced game overall. The only problem was, being a bonus game, it was quite short! I bought this a year ago and have just replayed it. Sometimes, I enjoy the replays more. The main problem is, I'm just not keen on newish games. I bought it, like the others in the series because I thought it would be like the older mystery case files but times have changed and I either accept that and move on, or keep playing the old games. Hmmm...
I don't recommend this game.

Good gameplay, graphics, sound effects and story but the objects were quite difficult to find. The cut scenes and cinematics were great. Very slow hint and skip recharge. I got lost, direction wise, quite a bit, but overall, a satisfying game.
I recommend this game!

I thought the graphics, sound effects, gameplay and genre were great but it seemed really short to me. I was surprised that it ended when it did. I was disappointed.
I don't recommend this game.

I couldn't really fault the graphics, sound effects or gameplay but I think I was expecting something a bit more like the older games.
The hint and skip buttons are very quick charging with some resemblance of the super puzzles of the older games, which was pleasing. Dramatic cut scenes and cinematics and fulfilling ending. I didn't like the compulsory zooming in of areas of interest but I'm probably just nit picking at this stage. Overall, a good game with some fast paced, smooth and user friendly gameplay, useful map features and lots of interesting little light puzzles in the HOS. I've just played it again after a year, so there's also some replayability in there.
I recommend this game!

The objects in this game were quite difficult to find, plus there were limited hints. There were chances to get more hints, sometimes they just appeared. I think it was a reward for good behaviour!
On the cute-o-meter, it definately scored 100. If you like animals, especially cute furry ones, you might like this. There are no humans in it at all. It seems to takes place from an animal's perspective. It reminded me a little of childrens T.V programmes in the seventies, in the U.K.
I had to use a large magnifying glass to find the objects most of the time and by doing that I got to see how lovely the graphics were. The music was a little annoying, sent me crazy, turned it off. The last level you have to do without any hints at all. It took a few times and help from another pair of eyes (my husband). It was very challenging at times and not a relaxing game. It appears to be for children because of the cutesy genre and the way it's styled but I would say it's an quirky game for adults who love animals.
I recommend this game!

The graphics in this straight forward HOG are really lovely, detailed and sharp. The environmental sound effects are also good. The storyline is a murder mystery and keeps you guessing until the end. It's a bit like that oldie but goodie BigFish game 'Murder She Wrote' not in style or graphics but in gameplay, dialogue and characterisation. There are some mini games located inside the HOS but you can skip them easily enough. It was pretty much a perfect game, perhaps a touch shorter than I thought it would be but I'm just nitpicking now!
I recommend this game!

All the scenes of this basic HOG are made up of old and classical paintings. They seem to have dumped all the hidden objects in each scene very haphazardly. It is very similar in style and gameplay to 'Secrets Of Great Art' which I also bought and liked. I find games like this very educational. I'm learning about the old masters, enjoying the paintings and I'm having lots of fun at the same time.
I didn't like the 4 mini games you have to play after each scene. However, because I had gems, I was able to skip most of them. You collect the couple of gems in each painting and build up quite a lot. I never ran out of them, so could skip as many mini games as I wanted. I enjoyed the 'Trivia' mini game,as it was the most educational. You have to spin a wheel to select the mini games. It was rather annoying and tedious spinning the wheel after each HOS. Also, the clicking mechanism was very clunky and undersensitive. I would misclick many times, even though the cursor was on the object and alas misclicking results in punishment!
I enjoyed it though and there's a very fast charging unlimited hint and nice relaxing music. It was also a very relaxing game all in all, as well as being fun.

I thought the graphics were nice and detailed. The music was good, catchy and well arranged. They had two peices of music, a really tense dramatic piece and a relaxing one.
I would advise not to play just before bed with the music on as you most likely won't be able to get it out of your head!
It was all HOS with a few little puzzles in but the interesting and quite unique thing was, you take photos of a few objects in the HOS, that you need for the puzzle and then you drag that photo onto the puzzle.
The gameplay is relaxing but not boring. I thought it was a bit short and the ending was abrupt, which was disappointing. These older games always have a good story that builds in pace and tension and then in the end, just leaves you out in the cold.
I recommend this game!
