I played the demo and because I liked the atmosphere and ambience and sound effects, I bought the game but then, after the demo, it went wrong very quickly. I kept getting lost. I realised I did not like the graphics at all, it was not exciting in any way...it was just not a good buy for me in the end.
Most relaxing time management ever, has this wonderful balance of keeping you on your toes without being frustrating. It's all very doable but you still have to work for it on some level. Great script, story, pace and characters.
Wonderful end to an exceptional series. The third in the series was such a long game. The first two were long and great value for money too, but the value for money on this one, it just didn't seem to end and I didn't want it to end. Never got bored. Very many hidden object scenes, very good game play and atmosphere and ambience and story.
Louis the Clown and Mr. Dudley are back in an all-new adventure! Travel through the dark corners of history's most famous fairytales to rescue children trapped in a frightening netherworld!
The second in the series did not disappoint, it was as good as the first. Lots of hidden object scenes, maybe not as much as the first. Perhaps a bit more puzzley in the game play area, still very relaxing, great atmosphere, graphics and story.
I liked the clear graphics and nice colours, it's really easy on the eye and the music is good too, especially in the Tavern. The food and drink choices are good and I liked all the eateries apart from the burger bar which was stressful and no fun at all. Overall I enjoyed the game and am looking forward to the next one.
There are 18 hidden object scenes packed with family fun with mini games in between. There's so much to do in each scene, find the golden pumpkins, the lost items and of course all the hidden objects. There are zoom in sections in each scene and lots of interactive gameplay to find the objects. Cosy and spooky in equal measures and should appeal to all ages.
Found it to be quite a sophisticated little game and it was quite long. I liked the story and the characters. Nice graphics and different ways of playing HOS. You put things back instead of taking things out in some of them .Not as many HOS as I'd like but decent game play.
These old school games never give you a break. They don't like to dumb down. They make you work for your buck. This one is no exception. You start off with 5 hints and 5 hints in the most you'll ever have. They are like gold dust. If you use up all the hints and can't find the cleverly hidden objects, and sometimes unfairly hidden ones, then you'll just have to start the game again. I did. I played the game, got a bit stressed and had to start again when I ran out of hints. There is a lifeline however, in each scene there is a green bottle, a hint. Graphics are not good or particularly clear, so this compounds things somewhat. I still enjoyed it and made it to the end eventually. You can be lazy in so many of the new games and just click the hint button again and again but this teaches discipline and it was fun because of it. Sort of.
Something very stylish about this one. Lots of atmosphere and good ambience and game play. Great scenes, nice graphics and relaxing HOS. There are four chapters to play of very different genres. Call of Cthulhu, The Three Musketeers, Jack The Ripper and Robinson Crusoe. You have to play the chapters in a certain order, starting with Call of Cthulu. I think I would have liked more of Call of Cthulu and Jack The Ripper but they were all good chapters and all consistent. Enjoyable game.
