Quite an exciting, fun and visually pleasing game really but it was a little short. I thought there would be at least another chapter. Good gameplay, sound, graphics and environmental sound effects.

Love Story: Letters from the Past
Discover a wonderful Love Story in this fantastic Hidden Object game! Travel back in time and relive a beautiful tale.
It's a sweet, romantic story and after playing the demo, I was drawn into the game and intrigued by the storyline, so I bought it. I did like the unique gameplay where you have to guess what the missing word is and then find the object. I was a bit disappointed though, as it was short and I didn't expect the abrupt ending.
Great game play, colourful customers, gorgeous graphics and was challenging without becoming frustrating. You play a few different restaurants; a burger bar, a cake/dessert shop, a sushi bar, Mexican restaurant and last, but not least, a pizza restaurant. I liked them all, but found the cake shop my least favourite, probably because I don't like sweet stuff that much, and also because I didn't like making the fruit cakes. They were just a tad tedious. It's difficult to get five stars straight off and sometimes later levels can get difficult but I replayed levels after I had more upgrades and was able to get five stars easily. I found it best played in relaxed mode. All in all a really fun fantastic game.

Lost Secrets: Bermuda Triangle
Dive in to the most mysterious region on Earth to find out what really happened to your great-grandmother years ago.
A very straight forward old school HOG. Hidden object scenes interspersed with skippable puzzles. An interesting and intriguing storyline with some great little nautical facts relating to The Bermuda Triangle mystery. There is also a cute little romantic relationship threaded in between the conspiracy. The only downside is, there is not a lot of variety in the scenes. It is mostly the same underwater scenes over and over and the game felt a bit short, in my opinion,
This is like The Chronicles of Moses, which is also a Match 3 game in the same style with the same game play. All the Match 3 objects are different though, so this made it a different experience. The cut scenes are great and retell the bible story in an inspiring manner. One small thing though, the voice overs are all done in a robotic voice and are not real actors but it didn't detract too much from the game.

Lost Secrets™: November 1963
Find the clues, solve the mystery of November 1963.
I like games with atmosphere as well as good game play and lots and lots of HOS, and this has it. Good environmental sound effects, music and nice graphics.
I'm just starting to get into match 3 games. As soon as I saw this, I thought of Rat and Louie -Cook From The Heart, which is another match 3 game, in the same style, graphics and gameplay as this one. I discovered that there are many more games in this series entitled 'The Chronicles of...' in the same style. I loved all of the cinematic clips telling the story of Moses. It is so relaxing and comforting and I enjoyed the voiceover which said, 'The Spirit Of The Lord Is Upon You' every time you release a holy white dove in the game. Even though they are annoying, I love the shocked/surprised look on the spiders face when you make them fall off the board.
I recommend this game!

Lake House: Children of Silence
Dark things bubble to the surface when the past invades the present!
I loved this because it ticked every box. Well paced, good atmosphere, graphics, game play and environmental sound effects. It was a little quirky too which I liked and it wasn't too old school or too new, it's sort of in between. There was an era in HOG's where they got everything spot on and then they just sort of ran with it too much and spoilt the simplicity. This was relaxing and fun and intriguing at the same time. I'll play it again (in about six months) and enjoy it all over again.

Not the type of game I normally like but this was addictive. I like the graphics and the game play. Love the multiple boards and the feeling that you are going into different rooms. You collect keys, grappling hooks, wrenches, lanterns, maps and magic spells in each board to open up other boards. The battles are biased, completely unfair and I see that a lot of reviewers don't like them either. I discovered that you don't have to play the battles. You can just come out of that room and finish the level if you've done everything else you need to do. I played it in relaxed mode from about level 35 and it was so much better. I managed to get all upgrades bar one, before it crashed on Level 75. I'd have probably kept going if it hadn't crashed. Thank goodness for small mercies.
