I was looking for another time management game like Spooky Mall and found it, except this one is without the ghosts and ghoulies. You won't find any meat in Amy's Greenmart, unless it's in the form of the beefy Security Guard in her stores. (Amy's romantic interest). This is highly addictive and I played it in normal mode, for the challenge, but it can be played in relaxed mode. There are 15 levels/days in each chapter. There are around six chapters, so quite a long game. Great game play and the upgrades will keep you coming back for more.
This game has a great true story running through it about a couple married for seventy years. A surprise anniversay party is planned for them. Although I love the story and it made me cry a little bit at the end, I wasn't that keen on the game play. It was mostly mini games throughout, with only a handful of hidden object scenes. Although, it has skips for the mini games, it doesn't have hints for the puzzley game play. While I wouldn't have bought it if I'd had known about all the mini games and lack of HOS, I still enjoyed it. There is some degree of replayability too. If you play the game again on a hard level, you get an extra bonus scene!
I played Tasty Blue, which I thought was a better game overall and I didn't get motion sickness with it, well not that much, but I was so sick with this one! I got through it by playing just a level or two a day, so it took me a couple of months to finish. Just talking about it makes my stomach lurch! I think Tasty Blue was more of a side on view but this is played from a birds eye view and so messes with the eye to brain to inner ear co-ordination a bit more.
Good environmental sound effects and much clearer graphics than the first couple of Dream Day's in the series. The scenes are lovely and objects are easier to find for the most part..I love the little bluebirds you can find in the scenes that go towards gaining more hints. It's timed but still remains quite a relaxing game. I had to play some levels twice or more. A challenging HOG with immediate skips on puzzles. There's a mulitple choice storyline but the endings are the same. I'll be playing it again to find out what happens when you make other choices in the stories.
This is an old game with back to back hidden object scenes. It's quite challenging as it's timed with limited hints. I like the creepy atmosphere and sound effects. I'm not overly keen on the hidden object dectector that you use when you need a hint. It's quite clunky and not that easy to find the hidden objects..I didn't like the dark rooms at the end but it did get a bit more exciting at that point.
If you like classical paintings, as well as back to back relaxing HOS, then you will likely love this game. It is good value for money also, with 40 different scenes to enjoy.
A fun and relaxing game with nice graphics and environmental sound effects. The gameplay was very well paced, smooth and steady. Not too many mini games and just enough HOS to keep me interested. Hints and skips throughout but there is no skip for the final puzzle at the last scene. You have to look after a cute but poorly raccoon at one stage and it was the highlight of the game for me.
Game play wise, this is like the addictive game, Feeding Frenzy. Its style, graphics, humour and sound effects reminds me of a cross between Monty Python and Yellow Submarine. Playing two player adds a competitive, exciting edge. It's a whole lot of fun to play with friends or family. I'm playing it a second time, on my own, and it's just as much fun, but perhaps a tad more relaxing than two player.
There are twenty two wonderful fine art paintings in this hidden object game. I could only truly appreciate it after playing it three times, simply because it was so relaxing and you don't get to see everything in the paintings the first time around. I like the system where you buy hints and you have to be careful you don't buy too many, otherwise you run out of money and can't buy any hints at all, or decorate the mansion, but the mansion section is just a sideline thing and is not needed. The game is enough in itself.
I can't fault it. It's everything a time management game should be. Great graphics, sound and characters, ranging from The Invisible Man (who is also a flasher) to Count Dracula himself. I really like the Workaholic Zombies and the Yeti is so cute! The game play is excellent. It builds in difficulty over several chapters. There are several hotels to renovate and you can buy upgrades to help things along. I find the last hotel the most exciting because the last few levels are a good challenge. I really enjoyed this time management game, which stands the test of time.
