You and a couple of your friends are trapped in one another's scary story! See how all 3 tales unfold and who will survive!
Having played the entire Maze series, I knew what to expect and was not disappointed! I enjoyed the puzzles, the hidden object scenes, and the 3 separate stories and characters. The ending was a bit dark, but this is what we've come to expect (and enjoy) from these games. It's been 3 years now and I would love to see the next chapter in the Maze series!
I recommend this game!

Heroes of Hellas 2: Olympia
Drag your mouse across chains of identical items in this captivating blend of Match 3 gameplay and city-building fun!
Hard to believe this was released back in 2009, because it definitely holds up in 2023! This is the sequel, of course, to Heroes of Hellas. In this one, you're once again stringing together gems with cool effects and heroes helping you along the way. You'll also be collecting locket fragments to do puzzles and fill up a throne room with your achievements. Even with the time limit, I was able to finish the game. It was better this time because instead of a mere temple, you were building all of Olympia!
I recommend this game!

Cadenza: Music, Betrayal and Death
You've returned from school to visit your father at his famous Jazz Pepper Club during Mardi Gras, but everyone is hypnotized. Have they heard the wrong note?
Your father and his jazz club are being attacked by a ghost! You must discover the culprit and free the people of New Orleans!
To be honest, it took me a while to get into this game. I liked the story and the characters, but the atmosphere was a bit dull and for a while I found it kind of boring. Stick in there, though...it gets better! This game lasted quite a while for a SE game and the numerous fun puzzles eventually won me over.
This is a reboot of the old "Fruit Lockers 2: Enchanting Islands". It's a brick buster game that involves matching fruit and has insects trying to throw up obstacles. A few reviewers said this is basically the same game as the original, so I decided to check for myself (I still have the old one on disc). Here's what I found.
Pros of new game: Relaxed Mode! Older games were often sadly without the relaxed mode option. The original gave you plently of time, but relaxed mode is always better for casual games.
Cons of new game: Where's my island? In the original, a girl named Alice had her own island and as you earned money through gameplay, you decorated your island with a castle and gardens and such. That was the big appeal of the game for me!
Conclusion: I'm just not sold on this without the island to decorate. If you only want a traditional ice breaker game, than this one is a lot of fun.
Modern-day Alice is out jogging when she falls through the looking glass! Can she help out her Wonderland friends and find her way back to her family?
Getting to play a CE game is a rare treat for me. Thank you Big Fish for gifting this to us during the long quarantine lockdown! The art was beautiful and there were lots of fun puzzles and hidden object scenes to play. Even some cool, original music! I look forward to playing the continuing story!
I recommend this game!

Fairy Nook
Create matches as quickly as you can to help Mathin the Rabbit navigate a fairy tale world and find his way to his friends!
This game had such potential! You're doing various matches as a cute little bunny walks through the woods. Springs for jumping, food when he's hungry, etc.
Unfortunately, it fell flat. This game is more than a decade old, so it had compatability issues with my Windows 11 running computer. I wasn't able to use my mouse at all and could only play it because I have a touch screen laptop. Then of course, there was the dreaded TIME LIMIT! Given how slow paced this game is, timed mode was a bad idea.

Fright
After a suspicious accident, you find yourself stranded at a run-down motel. But you soon realize the area hides a terrifying secret...
You're in a bus crash and stranded in a strange town where a young girl has gone missing. Can you help this family and escape this cursed place?
This game was released during a time when many hidden object games inserted real people into the cut scenes and it felt like you were playing an interactive movie. I was a big fan of this and sorry to see it has went out of fashion. This game had an interesting story, fun puzzles, and was scary but not too scary.
I recommend this game!

Enchanted Cavern 2
Return to the Enchanted Cavern in this fantastic Match 3 game! Clear the colored jewels as quickly as you can!
I was disappointed in the first game in the series but "enchanted" by the second!
The number one improvement, is of course, RELAXED MODE! You can enjoy playing the game at your own pace and the graphics are far better. There's also achievements you can earn.
I recommend this game!

Enchanted Cavern
A legendary cavern exists with walls lined of glittering jewels - make combos in this Match 3 puzzle game.
This is an old-school group match game where you blast large groups of gems at once. Busting gems is rather satisfying, but not if the timer keeps running out! There also seems to be very little story to it beyond the first screen. I suppose it's a good game if you're looking for a challenge, but I prefer a bit of relaxation with my games.
This is a matching game that combines several methods (chain, group, match-3, etc.) to complete each puzzle. Once completed, you're given puzzle pieces to eventually create a cute puppy outfit for your customers!
For an older game, I found this really fun! I enjoyed the background drawings of puppies and the changing style of each puzzle. There are also bombs, scissors, hammers, etc. to help you with completion.
