I REALLY wanted to like this game, I love all games related to Christmas, but I just couldn't get into this one.
There was too much dialogue, and it was all over the place. I normally don't skip conversations while I'm playing games, but I had to in order to get through this one. The music wasn't Christmasy either, which was a bummer.
That being said, the scenes were beautiful and I did enjoy the mini-games. This might be a game that's suitable for young children or beginners, but it wasn't for me.

Gourmania
Slice and dice your way to the top of the gourmet food chain in this nutritious Hidden Object game!
I've been playing this game for years and STILL love to come back and play it again.
I love hidden object games that revolve around food, and very few exist, so the Gourmania series is a real treat for me. It's part HO, part time-management. I love how accurate the food process is, getting to choose from a large variety of restaurants, and upgrading the kitchen appliances and utensils. I truly enjoyed it!
I recommend this game!

Classic Adventures: The Great Gatsby
F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Jazz Age is in full swing in this decadent adventure. Bring this legendary American novel to life!
I was pleasantly surprised by this game. I enjoyed being "read" a classic novel whilst playing a game and I had fun decorating my library.
The HO scenes can be a little tough, but there's the hint button. I liked collecting the books, and the words were fairly easy to guess once you collected a few letters. It's a good game for when you want to take things slow and easy.
By the way, the profanity didn't bother me (it was only one word). This really isn't a game oriented towards children anyway, given that there's extra-marital affairs and murder involved.
I recommend this game!

The Game That Made Me Fall In Love With Hidden Object Games
I've played this game several times over the years and STILL love playing it. It was one of the first I played that made me truly fall for HO games. The graphics and music are beautiful, the story line is sad, but original. In my book, it's neither too long nor too short.
My only criticism would be that the hints aren't really useful, but you can always look up the Big Fish walk-through for this game (it was REALLY helpful).
I recommend this game!

I thought for sure this game would get a higher rating, the only criticism I could make is that the words on the HO scenes were too small.
That being said, I loved this game! It had beautiful graphics and music, and a lot of originality (I've yet to see another game with Froids). Collecting the souls was fun (I liked to read the stories about each good soul), and it had a happy ending. Plus, I thought the cut-scenes were interesting. Try it, you'll like it!
I recommend this game!

James Patterson Women's Murder Club: Death in Scarlet
Pin the killer in this page-turning murder mystery by novelist James Patterson, and find hidden objects within nine distinct investigations.
I'm not sure why this game got such bad reviews, I loved it! My only complaint would be that the hidden objects were a bit too small. I enjoyed the mini-games and the eerie story line. I also enjoyed pretending I was a lab tech. I look forward to the next one!
I recommend this game!

Public Enemies: Bonnie and Clyde
Help Janette decipher a strange message left by Bonnie and Clyde! Follow the infamous duo on their crime spree across America!
When I started playing this game, I nearly gave up on it. The hidden objects were tough to find, and it seemed a little dull. Give it time, though...it gets more interesting. The story line about Bonnie & Clyde will keep your interest, and the hidden object scenes get a little more diverse. I enjoyed some of the mini-games, too. For an old-school HO game, it wasn't half bad!
I recommend this game!

A "FROG" Game You'll Enjoy Playing Again And Again
I've played this game several times over the years, and STILL enjoy playing it again and again. As FROG (fragmented object games) games go, I find this one particularly enjoyable. I also love the numerous mini-games. It's simple, it's easy and it's fun. Cute story line, too. Great if you're not in the market for anything too cerebral (we all have our days where we just want to play something easy). Try it, you'll like it!
I recommend this game!

Cases Of Stolen Beauty
The talented journalist, Eva Sanders, witnesses strange events while working on a story and soon finds herself implicated in the most incredible plot of the millennium!
I'm guessing the people giving this game the bad reviews probably didn't stick around for the whole game. Yes, it's old school HO, the graphics and game play a few years back can't possibly compete with the newer ones, but I thought this game was fun! It was a silly but fun story line, the hidden objects you found actually had to do with what was going on, and I enjoyed mixing the remedies (it was NOT difficult, regardless of what you've read).
I recommend this game!

Exorcist
Garret Ghostfighter was born with the gift of being able to see demons! Help him use his gift to defeat the evil Mephisto!
Although this game is older, I still enjoy playing it. The story line is interesting (although it kind of seems like they started in the middle), and the HO scenes were challenging. Lovely graphics and music, too. I was a little annoyed by the constant WA-HA-HAs from the demons, but my children and I laughed when the woman would scream (you know, since we're playing a man). Over all, I consider it to be a classic and will play it again!
