So - I've been complaining that the current offering of games offered no challenge ...this one might be the game changer. Played the demo and bought the game. So far jane has to look for her partner and the screen goes left, right, up & down swings all around. Items are collected for inventory but there are also hundreds of collectibles to find - one doesn't know what they are so you must click every thing and when one is found the item is explained. I have found Hawk and now have two areas. I'm off to solve a puzzle to enter the third area. HOS are (so far) standard lists of items - items that are necessary for the game so no hodge podge. Game is 3.3GB so I am anticipating being in the zone for awhile. If you want a HO/adventure for sure try the demo. Matouks
Graphics okay, lots to do, some new mini games. A chance to place victims, clues, etc together but designers chose to tell you where to put them. Find an item use the item. I've grown frustrated with the baby fed games - never carry an inventory item farther than the next screen, there are never any helpful tips just right to the answer of what to do next. Not only this game but all recent games. I recently played a Lost Lands game and was reminded of what challenge was in a game... ended up playing all of them - you keep the knife and hammer all through the game and carry some inventory items through many levels before using. Is it that designers don't actually play these games or that they have gotten lazy or they feel all players are just happy to have a game. I recommend this game on the merits the designer may have intended - it is fast paced with lots to do. Matouks

I played Lost Lands: Mistakes of the Past which was great so I decided to choose another Lost Lands. This doesn't always guarantee that the next game will be as good or better but The Golden Curse is the best game I've played in a couple of years. I loved all of the general things (graphics and so on) but what was really fantastic was how hard I had to work to figure some things out. If you're like me I get so bored with games being easy, not logical, no thought about the HO's and same old puzzles - that is not so here - one has to work thru the HO's from silhouettes and one item is used for the next item and all of the items belong in the game. A hammer and knife are kept throughout the game (thank you developers) and some items are found early & carried through the game until they are needed - which caused me to try the silliest things - this reminded me of way back when games were challenging unlike now when you find an item it is used almost right away so no anticipation required. Some of the puzzles were new to me and took brain power to figure out. A great map, task list and book of manuscripts which you collect thru the game. Frustration & challenges of both these games meant a most enjoyable gaming experience. I shall buy the other Lost Lands with no hesitation. Matouks

There are no words to describe this game except by repeating what other gamers have said. It takes a 'thinking cap' to play and for all those folks who are finding games easy, repetitive, same old this game is for you. Highly recommended - genius designers thinking outside the box. Matouks
I recommend this game!

Legends of India
Experience the atmosphere of ancient India while enjoying colorful and brilliantly designed match-3 puzzles.
there are not many match 3 puzzles for little ones (which is great for me) but this is one that children who are not yet reading well or just starting to read could play. I rated it fun and level of challenge/storyline ok based on a child playing the game. The graphics should make little ones smile and draw them into playing the game with enjoyment. matouks
Finally, a mosaic game with some challenge and larger numbers. My favourite mosaic games are Gizmo - christmas and halloween as there lies not only challenge but all the options one could ask for. This game comes close and leaves behind the penguin puzzles which are same old and small numbers of fill ins. The designers give 2 choices - easy and challenging and in demo 4 colours. In demo there is a battleship game with cost of $1000 and I imagine in each category there is a break of some sort. If you enjoy mosaics give this game a try. matouks
This is by far the best game i've ever played for youngsters. So many games are teen/adult orientated but this one is for everyone. Good story/mystery line, cat helper, great graphics and map makes it easy for kids to get around and also see where to go next. A great gift for kids who love games and who like to think and have a bit of a challenge. Happy Holidays, Matouk
If you are tired of the same old do yourself a favour and play this game. The demo should be enough to entice one and if you love puzzles and complain that they are short and too easy - well, JustTheFacts and pennmom36 reviews say it all. It is a long game - well worth the money especially on this bargain. There are 2 Madame Fate games - both excellent but this one is the 2nd - Madame returns from 2013. enjoy, matouks
I haven't had a chance to play BF for 5 days so was really excited to see Imperial 4. I've lost count of the number of times I've played game 3. Why do designers feel the need to change the game when the last game (game 3) got 4-1/4 stars, & fantastic reviews. Imperial 4 is a kids game - period. Altho all ages can play Game 3 it is an adult game. Fast paced, earn bonuses and keys to unlock cabinet with bonuses. Screen of bare island to start and then watch as island becomes a metropolis of bldgs, ships, & trains that you fill up with resources. Not only are there wood and stone blocks to crush, single and layered silver and gold blocks, chained resources but you might trigger an ice block or sand block. THEN there are the multiplying crabs and octopus' that will take over the entire board if you don't make matches next to them. Hidden parts of the game are triggered and chests or cargo cars must be dropped off the board. The game becomes more challenging as you go along. The graphics are wonderful, good colour, screen constantly changing and main screen with island makes you want to watch the movement as island grows. There are more features than I have listed but one can see how this is a grown up, practically perfect no need to change it kind of game. Just add a new feature, tweek what is there and give us the match threes that we wait for in great anticipation. .
i also missed this game and have been searching under puzzle, marble, etc. - never know what to call these types. Great game and for those who loved it may i suggest DaVinci's Secret, Pharaoh's Secret and Oriental Dreams.
