Voice of Dissension; not really, but then there was just something about this game that I just didn't like. I think it was the art; it had a dark theme, to me. That and I'm not into gambling, of any kind. I didn't like the Map either; to me, an essential part of a "Collector's Edition".
Don't get me wrong; the gameplay was good. I will recommend this game because not everyone is going to let the art and theme affect their like or dislike of the game. The sound was great the graphics good, not great, but really good and gameplay was good.
I haven't played the Bonus Chapter yet, let's see how I like that.
I recommend this game!

Nobody comes back from the Dark Side unchanged, but it’s the only way to re-light the fading flame.

I loved the storyline; to me, HOG's are storytelling with a beginning and an ending. For the most part, I enjoyed this game, but it loses a star because the ending was a total dud, because there was no ending, in my opinion

The storyline/theme of The Faceless Gravedigger, to me, is a bit creepy, but despite that I enjoyed the game.
The only part of the game I didn't really enjoy was the Extra Game. It was pretty short and lame.
But, it had all the elements I expect from a Collector's Edition.
I recommend this game!

I'm an older mature man, I'm sure most of the people that play these games would call me an old man; that's OK; assuming we are Blessed we will all grow old. I care for handicapped/disabled adults and these games are my getaway. I'm not racing through them.
I tend to go for Collector's Editions because of the extras you normally get with them, such as; A Guide (if I get stuck) and as it turned out I finished this without a Guide, and the Extras; the only Extra I care about is game play. Alice in Shadowland had neither of these and that's why I subtracted two stars.
But, overall I enjoyed this game; especially the hidden object scenes as they were different than the normal HO scene.
Other than the fact it does not have a Guide or Extras I do recommend Alice In Shadowland.
I recommend this game!

I have to admit I enjoyed this game. Good graphics and story line, but navigation was a bit difficult. I like a map in games to be able to hop from one place to the next and there is not map; it has some other navigation problems, but that's the main one.
Overall I really enjoyed this game. Not your run of the mill HOG, but nice.
I recommend this game!

I really liked the Story Line; full of surprises. However, I think with a little creative collaboration this would be a top notch HOP.
The challenge of the different scenes is what I expect from a HOP, but way too many HOPs, and difference scenes. Lots of Alchemy, but the player has little to do with it. It would have been a lot more fun if the player were involved more in the mixology.
I don't pay much attention to sound and so I won't comment on that. The graphics were sufficient, but could have been better.
With some work this could be a top notch HOP.
I recommend this game!
