Valen was such a bad seed; killed his brother he did, but in the end, all is made well with you as the apprentice Magician. I enjoyed this game, but then I'm a sucker for medieval type games, with a little magic thrown in. No, I don't believe in magic, but I do enjoy all of Walt Disney's early creations. I was disappointed that there is no Bonus Game; I believe a Collector's Edition should include a Bonus Game, however, it's just a nice game, which I enjoyed and you may enjoy it too.

I could have sworn that I wrote a review for "The Swan Princess" already. In any case, I enjoyed the game and it had some unique HOS's that weren't always all that easy. I didn't care for the layout of the Map, but it got me through the game, and so I can't really say anything bad about it. I think you might enjoy "The Swan Princess" too.

This is the first time I've ever played a HOG with two different characters; it kept me engaged in the game. And some of the HOS's were unique which also kept me engaged. And ah yes, there were two Ladders to find and repair along with the multitude of keys to be found for every type of lock. The Bonus Game isn't quite as good as the Main Game, but it is well done and explains why the Darkest character becomes so and kinda makes you feel sorry for her, since she did something so good, to become so bad.

I enjoyed this HOG; the HOS's are a switch from the norm. The only drawback, for me, is the map. I'm not saying the Map is totally useless, but it does not help, at all, with Navigation. Game Navigation was a drawback, for me, but did not take away from the game itself, which is very well done. Isn't it strange, in a HOS, how large things are really small and small things are really large; only in the land of HOG's. Yeah, you have to find a Ladder, but you don't have to repair it; how bout that. I definitely recommend this HOG.

I don't have a lot of time to write long reviews; suffice to say I enjoyed this game. Guess I'm a sucker for Mid-Evil themed games; I enjoyed both the Enchanted Kingdom HOG's I've completed, so far. I recommend this game.

I was impressed with how fast this game loaded. And what would a HOG be without having to find a Starfish or a Safety Pin? This is one of those times that I enjoyed the Bonus Game more than the Main Game; I enjoyed the twist to "Charles Dickens; A Christmas Carol" in the Bonus Game. The Map was near useless, at least to me, but did not prevent me from completing the game successfully. If your a Detective type you should enjoy this game.
Let's start with the fact that Haunted Hotel is not Haunted; no that's not a spoiler. Any CE should have a Map, a Guide, an option to "Skip" certain puzzles, and a Bonus Game and Haunted Hotel: Death Sentence has all that. Haunted Hotel: Death Sentence has an interesting theme the more you get into the game The Map should guide you through the game, to a certain point, which the map in this game does; I didn't use the Guide until the beginning of the Bonus Game, if the Map is good enough you shouldn't have to. This isn't the best HOG I've ever played, but it is decent. I would recommend it for Beginners or Advanced Players. I hope you enjoy it.
I guess I got a big head being called Honored Healer. I've enjoyed all the Enchanted Kingdom HOG's I've completed. I would recommend this game. I guess I've always liked the Mid-Evil theme of a game.
