I think I've finished every game I've purchased, but not this one. It started out just fine, and I was actually excited to keep going. But then it went south in a hurry. So many typos and mislabeled items. But the worst part was the disjointed story and no idea of what to do or where to go next. So much of it didn't make sense. By the time I was two thirds of the way through I was clicking the hint button almost constantly, just to get finished. I finally decided to give up on it. Why finish a game I didn't like? There are much, much better ones out there. On to the next one, which HAS to be better than this.
I don't recommend this game.

Was it a perfect game? Not at all. But the graphics, the voice overs and the challenge were about right. Puzzles were a little too easy in most spots but there were a couple that were challenging. I didn't skip any and I never used a hint, which is why this gets 4 stars from me. I prefer a more difficult game. This one does have good length, so it was worth the money, especially when I got two for one.
I recommend this game!

I asked for a challenge, and I got one!
I normally refuse to use hints. I'd rather figure it out myself, even if it takes hours. I had to use four hints in this game. Some of this was due to (what I thought was) a technical problem toward the end of the game. All I want to say is, it had to do with a poison dart. (Developers, you know exactly what I mean.)
This game deserves five stars, but not because it's perfect, by any means. There are several flaws. But it's the best game I've played in quite a while. I was stumped several times, which is a huge plus for me. It makes me use my brain! The puzzles were fantastic. Puzzles are my favorite part of these games. Some really good, different puzzles are here for you puzzle lovers. There were HOS's, but they were all a little different, so I didn't mind them at all.
I really liked the music. Good job ERS! BUT... can't you vary it a little? It was the same refrain over & over again. Throw in something different for each part of the game. Use some new composers. It's a good chance to showcase their work.
Now, for the voiceovers... this was some of the worst acting I've come across in a game for a while. It was all so monotonous and unexciting. No way in the world would you believe anyone was in danger. You can do better in this area, ERS. Take the lead from other developers. EIPIX has the best voice overs I've heard.
Just a really great game! I played in the most difficult mode, but I think anyone would enjoy this if they stay within their mode of comfort.
I recommend this game!

I wasn't expecting a lot from this game, since I got it on sale for $2.99. What a surprise! It was actually a lot of fun!
There were quite a few HOS's, and each scene came up twice, but I never mind that because it tests my memory from finding objects the first time the scene comes up. Puzzles were good, except where it was difficult to understand the instructions. I didn't skip any though.
Voice overs were adequate. The young German (I think?) boy's accent gave me a chuckle, however. At times he almost sounded Hispanic or French. The actor didn't quite have the accent down. It didn't detract from the game though.
The length was good.
I think most people will enjoy this one.
I recommend this game!

I was really enjoying this one, and then all of a sudden it was over! Couldn't believe it was the end already.
I liked the graphics and the excellent voice overs (even though the lips weren't synced - not a big deal for me). A few too many HOS's and too few puzzles.
Could have been a 4-star game for me if it hadn't been so short.
I recommend this game!

Because of the short length and the poor quality of the actors, I had to subtract a star. Only one voice over had any emotion in the voice. The story was also weak, but I usually don't rate games based on the story because they're all pretty much the same.
Graphics and scenery were very nice. Music wasn't annoying. Some different puzzles that were fun. HOS's were just ok.
A couple of small technical glitches but I was able to play through them and didn't have to restart.
I think most people will have a good time with this game, so I'm recommending it.
I recommend this game!

Very enjoyable game, but the cat took away one star. His voice is utterly annoying, and he really adds nothing to the game. I don't care at all for all the "cute" little helpers the developers continue to give us. Please get rid of them!
This game had some very good puzzles. I even had to skip one, which I almost never do. The HOS's were okay and didn't dominate the game like some do.
Excellent graphics. Voice overs (except for the cat) were also good. Music almost put me to sleep because it was so dreamy and calming. It wasn't terrible but it could have been a lot better.
I'm ready for some really CREEPY games! Where are they? We don't all like fairy tales. All Big Fish needs to do is issue a warning for games that might be too intense for some people. I think BF will find they'll get lots of five-star ratings on the more mature games. Give it a try!
I recommend this game!

This is a winner! And it's a long one! Liked everything about it. I won't go into detail because others have already done that, but if you're looking for a nice game that's fun, challenging (in some places) and has some different types of puzzles, this is it. I didn't want it to be over. You won't be disappointed!

Really liked this one! Puzzles were very different. After you figured out what the instructions were trying to tell you the puzzles were actually pretty easy. The challenge was deciphering the instructions!
The HOS's were plentiful, but they involved several different scenarios, so that kept them interesting. Some items were extremely difficult to find, both in the HOS's and the rest of the game. I refused to give up, though, and I eventually found all of them.
I liked the music; it fit the game very well.
Graphics were great. No voice overs, but that's ok with me. I don't mind reading the subtitles.
I came very close to using a hint a couple of times (or consulting the walk through) but I made it through without doing that.
A nice challenge with some really different stuff thrown in. Had a great time! I'm not sure beginners would enjoy this, however, since it was on the difficult side.
I recommend this game!

Not a bad game, but not 5 stars for me. I do think EIPIX is coming out with great games and I think I've purchased most of them.
A couple of things I liked: 1) the music was very nice, and it changed with each scene. I've been waiting for more developers to do this. 2) The voice overs are the best I've heard. Excellent work on the part of the actors!
A couple of things I didn't care for: 1) Some of the uses for inventory items were very strange. I like imagination and improvising but some actions just didn't make sense at all. 2) A little too much dialogue for me. It added to the story but I felt the game was a little short, and I think the developers used the extra dialogue to make the game longer.
I like EIPIX games very much and will continue to buy them. I just hope they do a little better on the next game.
I recommend this game!
