I own all the games in this series and this one was just OK. Not my favorite in the series. It wasn't as beautiful as the others, it seemed like I had to use the hint button way more than I ever have in any other Grandma game, things, for me, didn't make logical sense in many instances. You had to be exact where you placed things or they'd pop away as if they don't go there but they do so it can take a few tries until you hit the sweet spot. That kills my shoulder and doesn't make me all that happy.
The game was also on the short side and didn't contain all that many hidden object scenes, more mini-games which I don't care for than HOS which I really enjoy.
It was a pretty good game but I should have waited for the SE and not purchased the CE since I was pretty bored and ready to end the game that I didn't even play the bonus game.

I don't know why I didn't listen to my own gut and just pass on this game, I let the positive reviews sway me and I'm really ticked at myself for wasting my money!
I found this game so boring, same thing over, and over, and over. Find something to put here to open this to get that to put someplace else!!!!!!!!! The three detectives working together sounds like a great idea but they don't actually work together!
I tried to like this game, I kept playing until finally I just couldn't because I was so bored and didn't give a hoot about anyone in the game nor did I give a carp how it ended! It's a pretty good bet that the good guys will win in the end. No, I do not recommend this game!

I don't know why but I really, really enjoyed this game! I wish I purchased the CE version so I could play longer.
I loved the graphics and the colors. The gameplay was relatively easy but not so easy that I got bored. Things made sense and moved in a logical progression. Some of the mini-games were new ones that I haven't seen before and the hidden objects were just perfect!

I'm going to keep this short and sweet. I absolutely loved this game and didn't want to stop playing until the end!
I don't understand the low reviews of this game on CE edition, I found this to be a very enjoyable game, with the right amount of mini-games and hidden object scenes. The graphics and atmosphere were perfect as was the music.
I've played and enjoyed every one of the games in this series and I'm so sad to see it come to an end! One of my top all-time favorite series by my top favorite game designers.

I demoed this game when it first came out in the CE edition it seemed to be fun and about Vampires, so I purchased it, I regretfully have to say I'm sorry I spent the money. I found this game to be very, very easy, repetitive and boring!
I still have not finished the game nor the bonus chapter and I don't think I ever will, I'm that bored and disappointed by the game. It's another find an amulet put it here, rinse and repeat. There is nothing spooky, creepy or remotely vampirish in the whole game that I've played so far. A complete and total let down for me.

This game is so well done. You can tell the designers put a lot of thought and care into the game. It's so eerie and spooky, just perfect to get you into the Halloween mood!
The gameplay is standard Elephant find an amulet to open this or find a key to open that etc., but the story, atmosphere, and the graphics are what makes this game stand out from most of the other games out lately. The mini-games are new and different and a bit harder than normal. It's also just perfect for this time of year!

I rarely buy the CE edition of games but for this game, I'm making an exception. I'm having so much fun that I have to have this game now!! It's great to read some of the reviews by others who actually purchased and went further into the game and say it stays spooky and just as much fun after the demo, that gives me even more incentive to buy now!

I absolutely loved playing the demo of this game and I will be purchasing it just as soon as we have a great sales day. If I wasn't on a limited budget I'd buy it today!
The hidden object scenes were done so uniquely with a bit of whimsy thrown in! Loved them! The mini-games were pretty good and that's saying a lot because they aren't usually something I enjoy very much. I did enjoy these, but had a problem with 2 I had to skip because honestly, I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do. Probably just me.
The music is nice, the scenery is very pretty and the graphics are very well done.
I think the game designers really tried hard to give us new and interesting things in this game and I applaud them!

I'm a huge Vampire fan beginning back when I was a kid watching Dark Shadows to the 1990's watching Forever Knight so this game felt like something I'd really enjoy.
So far there really hasn't been any real sightings of vampires, blood sucking or anything of that nature, but it's been fun. My only complaint with this game and I can't believe I'm going to say it, is it's much too easy! I like when a game is easy breezy but even for me, this game was a little too easy, but still enjoyable.
The graphics were clear, the scenes were nicely done, the music was fitting and the voice overs were for the most part well done. The hidden objects I really enjoyed, the mini-games which are not my favorites were half and half; half I did and half I skipped.
I hope the storyline gets better as we get into the game and we see more action then we saw in the demo.

I just finished playing this game and boy what a good time I had. I really, really enjoyed this game and would love to see more made just like it.
I loved the scenery, it was a regular every day albeit high end home, garden, boathouse, lighthouse etc. Nothing overly spooky, run down, purple-pink fantasy just regular which I loved. I also loved how we collect evidence to figure out who the suspects are and finally who done it! This could have been done a bit better and used a little more often but overall very well done! My only pet peeve is the guy who is also investigating with me should have been given tasks to do instead of just standing around. He should have worked with me in the game. Come on devs it's 2018 I know you can do this!!

The music was lovely and relaxing, the voice overs were excellent, loved the accents and the sounds of the men's voices. One of the best things for me was the sound of the rain. I find the sound of rain very soothing, almost comforting and they did this so well, the sound changed depending on what location you were in, which is how it is in real life.
I loved looking for clues, using the camera and keeping an inventory of the clues, I loved how we could look at them all and come up with suspects. I really hope we get more games just like this!

This review is after purchasing and playing the entire CE edition. I absolutely Loved this game! It started out fantastic with the adorable little doggie with the seaweed and then a fish on his head and his smile made my day! It was right then that I knew I would be buying the game in CE form which I don't normally do but I was having so much fun playing the game. I was not disappointed, the game was fun from beginning to end!
I'm at a point in my life now that I want to enjoy fun, adorable, whimsical things and forget all about things that stress me out. This game did that. The game is on the easy side which I normally like so I can just sit back and enjoy without stretching the grey matter but, at times it is a wee bit on the too easy side by actually telling you what to do, I could have done without the hand holding. It's the only negative I can find and it's not really that much of a negative.
I loved the hidden object scenes, the puzzles were pretty good and I managed to do most of them which is a bonus for me because I usually skip a lot of them. I thought the graphics and scenes were very well done and the music was appropriate for the scenes.

If you are looking for a game with exceptionally complicated puzzles or hard mini-games and/or if you don't find an adorable puppy dog as a helper fun then this would not be the game for you. As for me, it was perfection!
