I honestly hate to leave a low score especially for ELEFUN who happens to be one of my favorites. The game was just dull, lame, boring!
I usually like games a bit easy breezy for fun and relaxation but this game was a bit to lead you by the nose easy. Which made it boring.
The graphics were very nice, the story was ok, the usual haunted this or that, nothing special and they didn't turn it into anything special. I think the biggest reason I found it boring is I've been playing a lot of older games like the Surface series and they are a lot tougher, more intriguing to play so by contrast this just seemed dull. Give it a try you may disagree with me. I won't be purchasing the game!
I've purchased every game in this series. The first game Charleston Curse is still my favorite followed by Dark Days to Come. This game is similar to Dark Days but not near as good. The flow in this game is horribly slow and I found I was doing too many stupid unnecessary things. I'm not sure how far I am into the game but I'm giving up and deleting it. The colors are just so overdone and gaudy and areas all seem to have a mist around them that is off-putting to me. I was so looking forward to this game after the last one but I'm just not enjoying it. I wish I could see if it gets better but I can't get myself to play one more minute!
I don't know how I missed this little gem when it first game out but I'm so glad I finally found it! I really enjoyed the game. I would have given the game 5 stars if the second half was exactly like the first. I enjoyed having the guy with me talking and helping me out. He disappears pretty quickly after the demo which made me sad. I do have a young lady accompanying me but we don't interact very much. I love having people in the games that you stop and talk to and this game had plenty of that! The only negative was half way through I had to use the hint quite a bit because things weren't as apparent as they were in the first half of the game. All and all this was an easy going, relatively easy and relaxing game that I really enjoyed! Better than 90% of the other games I've demoed recently. I wish I purchased the CE for the 2 bonus chapters.
I recommend this game!

I love the Puppet Show series and I'll buy everyone that comes out no matter how bad because a bad puppet show is usually still much better than a lot of other games offered here! That being said this was a pretty darn good game and I enjoyed it very much! It's not as dark, scary or macabre as some of the others, but enjoyable. It sort of tried to be a steampunk, it didn't fully achieve that steampunk status but it did have some nice touches throughout! It's been a while since I played this so I don't remember a whole lot about it other than the above and that I did enjoy it and would recommend you at least use a coupon to aquire it!
I absolutely loved this game. The graphics were great, the games and hidden object scenes were very good, but the best part about this game was the story. You knew what the story was throughout the entire game and everything you did ie. games. Hog's pushed the story along! It's a relatively easy game which is what I find fun and relaxing and enjoyable. Not so easy that you get bored or feel like it's childish just easy enough to make it a lot of fun for an adult to play.
I'm surprised nobody has tried or left a review of this fun semi-sci-fi game. This game is made by the same people who made the games: Invasion: Lost in Time & Invasion 2 Doomed! Bright clear graphics, the music is pretty good and it changes from scene to scene. The games, puzzles and hidden object scenes are loads of fun to play. Hidden object scenes are interactive. I love the games in this game relatively easy but fun, more like arcade type. some math games etc. Totally different type of games than the usual fair we get in other games. Normally I skip the games, not in this game, I've played them all!! Beautiful scenery so far I've met Leonardo Da Vinci in Italy, the scenes were so pretty! I've just catapulted off through a time tunnel and ended up back in present time that looks way different than it should. I think I will also be going to a strange planet after this. Can't wait. I'm off to buy the game!
I did not enjoy this game at all, as a matter of fact, I dragged myself almost 3/4 through the game when I'd had enough and just deleted the game. Eipix did a fantastic job portraying London in the early 1900s. All the locations are stunningly designed so that they are both fascinating to look at and fit with the era of the storyline. music is sophisticatedly composed and the voice-overs are top-notch. That's where Eipix excels in the visuals but the story gets lost long before you are even halfway into the game. There are a lot of things you do that make zero sense. ie. stopping water pouring out of a faucet with a powder puff, turning red hot valves with no gloves on? There are more, but I can't think of them right now. I didn't find the hidden object scenes nor the mini games added nor moved the story along. I do not like how they tilt the hidden object scenes, and I really don't like all the panning in and out of the camera, it gives me a headache! I use to be a big fan of Eipix with their older games, but honestly not anymore. I've enjoyed maybe 2 of their games in the past year. They have forgotten how to tell a story and how to keep things cohesive. It's a shame because the concept was great, the characters if utilized could have been amazing. It wasn't? It's like decorating a gorgeous wedding cake only to find it's all styrofoam underneath! No, I do not recommend this game.
Sorry I really didn't like this game at all. It started out pretty good with great promise, but after the demo things just go down hill! I had high hopes since the first game in this series Beyond Light Advent is one of my all time favorite games. This is a serious let down after that amazing game. None of the elements that made that game so great, were in this game. For example. meet and interact with characters throughout the game who actually help you in the game, a big turn in the game you never saw coming, games and hidden objects that lead the story forward etc. I will say the 3-D effect they added was very nice it made you feel a part of the game but it wasn't used very often. I started this game and have tried to finish it for over 2 months but, finally today I said you are really not enjoying this and you don't want to finish so I just deleted it. It was tedious and boring with a bunch of find this to put it here so you can find something else and put it somewhere else and none of it had anything to do with where you were or what you were trying to do. No I do not recommend. Sorry.
I just loved this minimalist game! FYI Yes, you can lock the toolbar and the above hints, directional arrows and menu by clicking on the skull bottom left corner. Cursed goes for the classic horror set-up with a selection of stark locations, creepy characters, and otherworldly beasts blocking you at every turn. There are a handful of jump scares that include bats flying at the screen and people transforming into burning skulls, that sort of thing. Surprisingly it doesn’t come off as cheesy or hokey, it actually works in the game’s favor. Just a good old fashioned romp through a ghost town, complete with voices whispering in the shadows. Cursed is a stark game on every level. Most of the scenery is sparse, the interface is a bare minimum, and your interactions with the environment stay simple throughout the game. In most games, this might count as a negative, but for Cursed it’s a huge advantage. The horror genre is all about atmosphere, and these minimalist elements set the perfect scene for a genuinely creepy time. I find less is more for me and it makes me enjoy the game a whole lot more. Newer games have too much to look at, too many colors, glints, things to do that I think my senses and brain gets over-loaded and the story gets lost. I wish we had more of these types of games. I found the games and HOGS fun and relaxing. The puzzles and mini-games were not overly packed or hard to achieve which I thought made the game even better! Fun, scary but not a gory game to while away a few hours. My only negative is, I wish it were longer! First game in a long time I truly enjoyed! Yes I recommend this game!
I really enjoyed playing this game! I found it fun and relaxing. Not too hard, not too easy, just right! The interactive hidden object puzzles were wonderful, the mini games were pretty good as well. I played most of them without skipping and that's saying a lot! I really enjoyed the surroundings in the game, the music, voice overs were great! I enjoyed this one much more than the first game in this series. I will definitely play it again. Bravo Artifex Mundi! The game is a bit on the short side is the only complaint I have and that's only because I wanted to keep playing! Yes I do recommend this game!
