I really, really enjoyed playing this game! Enchanted Kingdom: A Dark Seed has a terrific gameplay and an excellent storyline. All the regular things are there, games, HOPS etc. but you also get a little medical kit where you mix up herbs and such to make a cure for each person you come across that's suffering from this wooded disease. First you will use a magnifying class to inspect them and find out what each spot means and what you will need to cure it. Then you are off to find the items to brew up a potion to cure them! Putting the items into the chemistry set can be a bit tricky but using commons sense you'll figure out what goes where or else by trial and error. Making potions is something I really enjoy in a game, I find it much more fun than just finding an amulet or key to open something over and over.
The Mini Games are numerous and entertaining, and most of the puzzles give you the option to play the game in either an Easy or Hard mode which is a feature I really like!! Hidden object scenes were fun and slightly interactive. The music was nice and it carried the mood of the game very well. Voices are age and character appropriate, with emotion for a change. The graphics weren't bad at all, what they were trying to convey is a sinister fantasy game, not a light whimsical fantasy game and I think they did it very well. Some areas may have been a bit blurry but nothing that bothered me. For the most part I think they did a superb job!
I played The Enchanted Kingdom: A Dark Seed on the custom mode and, rarely skipped any of the mini-games, and completed the game in around four hours.
It is a perfect game for a lazy day. I think the game is fantastic. I had a lot of fun with it! Yes, I highly recommend this game!
I really enjoyed this game. Plenty of places to go and things to do. The story remained consistent and was rolled out little by little through out the game so you never lost the thread of what was going on and why. The graphics were gorgeous, puzzles and HOG's were a lot of fun too! The game is on the very easy side, which is fun once in a while when you just want to enjoy a game and it's beauty without wracking your brains. I really enjoyed this game and would highly recommend it.
Bravo Elephant games, bravo!! This is by far the best game I've ever played here on Big Fish! Not sure if anyone will ever see this review since this is such an old game but in case someone does and they are on the fence as I was about playing this game, just go ahead and purchase it, you'll love it! It was pure perfection. Ok, it does start out a bit slow but gets better and better. In comparison to newer games the graphics are probably not as fancy but they are done very well. What this has that the newer games don't is a lot of thought and hard work went into the making of this game. The mini games aren't the same old lame old ones you see over and over in today's games. The hidden objects are hidden very well but not so hard that you can't find them. I just played all of the Surface games over the past 2 weeks since I couldn't find anything new that I enjoyed. It's been the most fun I've had in a very long time! All the Surface games are excellent except for one. This is the longest game I've ever played with so many different locations! I also loved using items from your inventory and putting them in the hidden object scenes. Wish they'd bring that back. Sometimes you had to come back and finish a hidden object scene once you find the item you need to use in it. I found that enjoyable. My only gripe would be the storyline could have been a little more cohesive throughout the game but other than that I loved it. Yes I highly recommend this game.
I'm going to keep my review brief since there will probably be few if anyone reading reviews on these older game, but for anyone who does, this game was fantastic, 10 stars!
I hate spiders and I still LOVED this game! I played the other game in this series and it too was fantastic. I can't remember who the game developers were but they should really make more games. There something about their games that just make you feel warm and fuzzy and really immersed in the game. They do this better than I've ever seen it done. The scenes were beautifully done the story played out throughout the game and I enjoyed their mini-games, which I usually skip! This game is far better than any of the newer games I've played in the last year! This is definitely a game I will play again! I've played quite a few older games this past week or so and I've really enjoyed them but this is by far my favorite, tied with Game of the Gods. Give it a try even if you just use a free game coupon, I really think you will enjoy it. It's really worth full price.
I'm going to keep my review brief since there will probably be few if anyone reading reviews on these older game, but for anyone who does, this game was fantastic!
I demoed it twice over the last 2 years and felt it wasn't for me but this past week I got on and old games kick and started playing all the older Surface games and WOW are they awesome! Far better than any of the newer games I've played in the last year and I've played some good ones!
Great storyline, fun things to do and tinker with. I love fixing things or building things in games so this was right up my alley. There was a bit of back and forth as with all Elephant games so that was a bit of a bummer but overall I very much enjoyed my time playing this game. It's one of the few games I will play over and over again! Give it a try even if you just use a free game coupon, I really think you will enjoy it, I know I did!
I've been on an old games kick this past week or so, finding them much more entertaining then the newer games. The Surface series seems to be my favorite, especially the older ones where you use items from your inventory during the hidden object scenes. Well that being said this is the only game I did not like at all! I actually hated it. It was all over the place, things making little to no sense so I was constantly using my hint button. The scenery was old and ugly and didn't find the mini games fun. The hidden object scenes were just regular no use of inventory, and the back and forth, back and forth for literally no reason was making me very angry! The storyline was very good and unique but the game graphics, mechanics, and common sense were very poor or missing! Elephant games should revisit this topic and do it justice someday. Very few games I don't recommend and the only Surface game I don't recommend. It's horrible!
It should have been a tremendous achievement, but the tunnel through the Ridge of Leviathan became the site of a great disaster. What really happened that day?

Far better than any of the newer games I've played in the last year and I've played some good ones!
This game starts off a bit slow but then when it finally hits its stride it moves pretty decently. There were some things that were a bit nonsensical and I had to use the hint quite a bit which is why I gave it a 4 and not a 5, but still, I really liked the game. In these older Elephant games you use items from your inventory to put into the hidden object scenes, at first I didn't like it but now I find it great fun and wish Elephant had kept it since it's unique to their games!! Give it a try even if you just use a free game coupon, I really think you will enjoy it, I know I did!
I'm going to keep my review brief since there will probably be few if anyone reading reviews on these older game, but for anyone who does, this game was fantastic!
This past week or so I've been playing a lot of older games since the newer games have left me cold or bored. I've played the newer Surface games but had never played the older ones so I started playing them 1 by 1. I really really enjoyed this game. It starts out a bit slow but then it picks up and you end up playing most of the game in a somewhat whimsical area, similar to an Alice in Wonderland type place. There is, of course, the evil child undertone but still done in a nice setting for the most part which made it so much more entertaining. It's not an overly long game I sat and played straight through in about 4 hours, I do tend to skip a lot of mini-games so that probably sped up my game play. Give it a try even if you just use a free game coupon, I really think you will enjoy it, I know I did!
I'm going to keep my review brief since there will probably be few if anyone reading reviews on these older game, but for anyone who does, this game was fantastic!
I demoed it twice over the last 2 years and felt it wasn't for me but this past weekend I got on and old games kick and started playing all the older Surface games and WOW are they awesome! Far better than any of the newer games I've played in the last year and I've played some good ones!
Give it a try even if you just use a free game coupon, I really think you will enjoy it, I know I did!
In the midst of a battle for the Academy of Alchemy, a young promising student, Eliana, is sent on a dangerous mission of retrieving three powerful artifacts, the Dragon Crystals.
I've had a love-hate relationship with the game. Overall I didn't really like, nor did I hate it. It just didn't wow me and actually bored me much of the time. It is, unfortunately, a long game, just when I thought good it's finally over, it continues on! When I love a game it ends too quickly when I want a game to just end already it goes on for what seems forever! lol It's a beautiful fantasy game but it felt disjointed and it had a lot of things that made zero sense, which had me reaching for the hit button an awful lot! It's nowhere near as good as the last two games in the series but still worth a free game coupon.
