a brilliant game with wonderful creepy graphics, great varied puzzles and HOPS with many things to do and most of all, at long last, very good believable voices with some gravitas to them instead of laughably bad ones. Music suitably eery and I love the way every time you collect something in the HOP the voices answer. I also like the fact that not everyone is a hero in this game - there is a cowardly gardener (I think) lurking around but then maybe he is a baddie. Still to find out... Good things to collect and storybook details too. Am still in the demo but a definite buy for me.
The storyline did not engage me atall. I felt bored very quickly and did not finish the demo. I think this sort of plot is very overdone. It all seems a little silly tho I am more than happy to play loads of games that have a fantasy line. Not for me this time.
Beautifully crafted, great story and wonderful new puzzles. At long last something new and not the same old goloms and monsters. A good length, great map and hints if you need them. The HOPS are so good and puzzles also. Nice creepy feel to game and lots of surprises. I have all the other Whispered Secrets and this is by far the best. Well done Grandma.. All I can say in addition is BUY....you will not be disappointed.
These devs are just high above the rest.. the crisp graphics, superb music and storyline make these games a delight to play. Some have said the mini games are too simple but even if that is a little true it does not detract atall from the fun of the whole. The voices are pitch perfect and the music is so good.. The faces look so believable and I just cannot recommend enough.
I like the greek myth story but the gameplay is a little old fashioned and slow. For instance once you pick up an item you cannot put it down which is irritating. The very american voices are also a put off and the graphics are not very crisp. Considering there are very slick games out there at the moment this one feels like we have gone back in time !!
Another female detective, another demon SIGH.... To their credit effort was made in this game but I am really sad of demons and secret amulets. Please can we have something else...??
Sorry, but I am not enjoying this game. Everything seems very "tight", the villain a touch silly with an annoying voice, the games far too easy, am bored with Elf, but worst of all, is that my Custom mode does not appear to work. In each scene its almost as if the morphs are twinkling at me and I know immediately where the finds are. Have not been engaged and will not buy. The shades of the Void and subsequent games like the 4 Aces is long gone.
The quality of these devs is still brilliant. Voices are excellent, the music great, graphics great too and the story good. The puzzle games are always a delight - if not too challenging but the collectibles are a little too easy to spot. However, half way through and really enjoying it.
Its Ok but oh no! - more portals... how I hate them.. the voices were truly terrible, Game play was OK but as soon as I saw the main guy throwing fire around wildly and laughing manically I knew it was not for me. So only played 10 or 15 mins.
Indeed much better than the Key. I was surprised that it came out in Oct as usually in time for Thanksgiving and then UNLOCKED came along. Certainly a long game and I enjoyed it - but am I being stupid in that I was never quite sure who Alastair was !! Charles, Victor, Rose and the twins yes - but Alastair NO.. maybe I did not pay much attention. The story was quite convoluted and not thought out well. The multiple games are just the best...
