As compared to the gold standard of mosaic games- Fantasy Mosaics- this game is good but not nearly as good. First of all in Fantasy the mosaics create scenes not just a single object. Example would be fishing. In Fantasy this is a person on a dock with a fishing pole and a cat sitting behind him. In Rainbow it would likely just be a fishing pole. The second issue is colors. I tried to pick the four colors I thought would have the most contrast but still some of them are almost the same. That is quite irritating. So, overall I like Rainbow Mosaics but Fantasy Mosaics is still much better. Jewel Mosaics was very good but they have not yet come out with a sequel- waiting for it. Overall I recommend this game but if you are new to this type of Mosaic game you would be better off buying Fantasy Mosaics.

If you own any other 8th Floor games there is no point in buying this one. It is the same game with a different background. In the last game by 8th Floor they at least tried to give adequate cards for each level. In this one they seem to be back to giving a woefully inadequate number of cards in the deck. I have to wonder how many times they think they can sell the same game by just tweaking the theme? I bought two before I realized I was just buying the same game. Hopefully, you will not do that.

I have played a lot of Jewel Match games and this one is a real treat. It was quite lovely to build gardens instead of castles. Nice change. My only objection is that once again the bonus games are mahjong and I personally do not care for it. A bit of change up? maybe a few hidden object, puzzles, golf? These developers do seem to be a bit stuck on mahjong for mini games.
The mini games were fun. The overall game play was fun. However, some levels had very few cards in the deck. Levels 61,82,96 were only possible with the use of power-ups. Even that I could have dealt with but what really irritated me was I went back and played every level to get three stars and I still did not get all the stickers. That is a glitch the developers should not have allowed to happen. For that reason I cannot recommend this game. Yes, I played on normal: I thought maybe those stickers were only available if you played on normal. Replayed the entire game, still did not get all the stickers.
Fantasy Mosaics quickly became the gold standard by which other mosaic games are judged. For very good reason. The colors are good, the story line is cute with everything built belonging in a fantasy world. I only found maybe two puzzles that could not be solved by logic. Best of all are the pictures that are created. They are all mini scenes not just a one object picture. Two of my favorites were 'puddles' where it develops into a child in red boots splashing in a puddle and fishing which develops into a fisherman on a dock with pole and a cat sitting behind him.
Like the other Jewel Match games this was great fun to play. The story line is simple but enjoyable. My only reason for giving it a four is all the bonus games- you do crystal matches to get gems to buy bonus games-are all mahjong games. Frankly, I am not a mahjong fan at all. Would be nice if the developers would offer other bonus games. Maybe some hidden object, solitaire, anything but mahjong.

Seriously? Who even outs out this kind of game anymore? All one color- no storyline-nothing to build. Really no reason to play it. I lasted for about 3 minutes in the trial play.
For a lot of reasons I have given this game a thumbs down! 1- those huge purple push pins are annoying. 2- there is nothing like a "clue" you are simply given the answers 3- a lot of the colors are very similar 4- puzzles were way too easy 5- when you click on the first number to count to 7 or whatever this first number is not counted so you have to be careful to subtract it from the total. 6- this game could have been very good but it missed the mark in so many areas.
This game is too much like the first five. I have the same issue with it. Do the developers not read the feedback? The jigsaw puzzle mini games are much to hard for young people. I buy games for my 10 and 11 yr olds to play but with all the rotating then placing they find the jigsaws too difficult. The older kids are not interested but I wish the mini games were more in tune with the younger set.

This game might have been okay- not likely- but the limited moves totally killed it. There is little explanation of what to do- no power-ups. At least I never found any. This developer has a lot of work to do to get me to buy a game.
