The only positive I can say about this game is that it is slightly better than episode 2 .... but that is not much of a recommendation. The humor is not there and I just found the game play annoying and frustrating. Save your money for something else folks.
I really wanted to like this game .... but unfortunately I didn't. I was hoping for a fun, humorous game but all I got was a tired tedious trying game that just annoyed me. Very disappointed ... I would not recommend this game even if it was free.
This game might be OK for kids but an adult would be disappointed. Graphics were clear, but very simplistic. The Anka character looked like some sort of odd Ninja and his "mother" would have passed for his slightly older sister. Perhaps young kids would be OK with that, but I found it a bit odd. A very short game.
I'm not sure what to make of this game. It looks like a game for kids and quite a few reviewers say they play it with kids, but I personally don't really think it is a kids game. At one stage the game asks you to feed a mouse to a cat who then "crunches" the mouse in his mouth ... and then you have to give a bird to the cat and he "crunches" that as well. Then in another scene there is a mermaid like character who has her hands covering her bare chest and she asks the player to do something about a nearby crow that is leering at her chest. It didn't offend me, but I just wonder how this is appropriate for kids?? And if a kid could find more than half of the hidden objects without resorting to the help button then they are geniuses, because many of the objects are so tiny. Having said all that, I have come across worse games than this, and it has a little bit of humor, and I think it's worth considering if it was on a half price special offer.
I enjoyed this game. I'd have to agree with some of the reviewers who didn't find it "really funny" ..... I didn't either, ("mildly amusing" maybe) .... but I did enjoy the game itself, and if it's ever available on a "deal price" then I would thoroughly recommend it. It's probably more of an "adventure puzzle game" than a HOG.
This game was probably 3 and a half stars for me. It was quite easy (and not very long) so it will not challenge an experienced player, but I was sick of the darker games so this was a pleasant way to "waste some time." I would have been disappointed had I paid full price, but it was OK for half price on special deal.
I liked this game. It kept my interest and I thought the puzzles were quite good. The hidden objects were not overly difficult but that was OK with me. If I had a criticism I'd say that the last chapter was pretty short, and pretty easy, and I found the ending itself to be a bit "odd," ..... kinda like leaving it a bit up in the air so as to make way for a sequel maybe?? Also the music was a bit annoying .... but overall I'd recommend this game.
I didn't like this game. I found the "solutions" to the puzzles too fiddly .... I found many times I had the right solution but my cursor was not in the "exact" required spot.
I'm really not sure why some reviewers gave low scores for this game .... because I thought it was one of the better games that I have purchased. Perhaps the "hard markers" wanted something more difficult to wrack their brains on ... but it suited me. I think it is good value.
