I look forward to every new installment to Christmas Wonderland and the Vacation Adventures from Casual Arts. Yes, they can sometimes be repetitive, but they add new scenes and new mini-games with every version. I was directed to install C++ whatever during download and did so with no problems. My screen blacked out for a few seconds on one scene toward the middle of the game, but I may have also been trying to click too fast, but it came back. I love these games - relaxing and loving the Christmas spirit of the game, so give it a go. It's nice and long, offering hours of pleasant fun.
I recommend this game!

Great, clear graphics and nice storyline for this Christmas Spirit story of a doll's journey to find the human child she belongs to. Some of the mini-games were trying, as some of the instructions weren't as clear as they could be, but other than that, great game play. Morphing objects, coins, and Christmas treats were not super easy to find in a majority of scenes, so that was nice. For a few hours of simple downtime, give this game a try. You can't go wrong with Christmas stories to get you in this Christmas Spirit!
I recommend this game!

I liked this Christmas Stories game - beautiful graphics and nice music. Nothing extraordinarily challenging (some of the mini-games were more difficult than others) but all around pleasant and Christmas-themed play. The colors were bright but not overly so, the storyline easy to follow, and nice Bonus game play as well. All in all, nice to play a new Christmas game.
I recommend this game!

I liked this game (CE version) but in my opinion had way too many time-gobbling mini-games just for the sake of extending game play. Game play was okay, if disjointed, mainly because it's been quite a while since I played some of the earlier storylines, so I felt a bit lost with the 'return' to the 'greatest' earlier cases with the bad guys. That said, I did like the graphics and the music wasn't annoying. Having to wait while the 'gizmo' typed out the alternative stories in each character's beginning was a drag. Did like the hunt for morphing investigative clue papers and the puzzle pieces. Some were quite challenging. All in all, an okay game, but I wish I hadn't spent $14 on the CE and waited for the standard edition.
I recommend this game!

I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of this game, with beautiful graphics and nice, gentle sound effects and music. I wish it had been a little longer though. I did enjoy all the mini-games that broke up the hidden object scenes. The 3 cats you're supposed to find in each location can be challenging to spot, but I found them all, and only needed to use the hint button a couple of times with one type of the mini-games. All around, nice game, no stress and neat locations.
I recommend this game!

I really liked this game - beautiful graphics, lots of scenes to explore and navigate, and the game play moved forward in a logical way from start to finish. Some of the mini-games are more challenging than others, but overall not frustrating. I enjoyed pausing as I played to study the scenery, the details of the artwork, and of course, looking for the cute little fairies and morphing objects found throughout. I bought the CE version and for once found the Bonus Chapter to be an excellent add-on to the storyline and offered plenty of scenes and tasks that were as enjoyable as the original game. Lots of fun with this one, great background music, not too much dialog and overall very enjoyable!
I recommend this game!

Not going to repeat what others have said about the 'same ol' same 'ol' but Vampire Origins was still a relatively enjoyable game for me. Plenty of hours of play to make it worth my money and my time - CE version, with a nice Bonus game. Excellent graphics, the storyline flowed, and yes a lot of repetitive actions and tasks but I didn't mind this time around - the voice overs and graphics made the play very enjoyable in that respect. If you don't have anything better to do, this is relaxing fun - mini-games not too difficult so wasn't frustrating. Give it a try, but I'd suggest the trial first.
I recommend this game!

If you have a few hours to kill, this Fatal Evidence will do the trick. It's predictable and yet the graphics and the mini-games were excellent. I found myself slightly bored, but it was the abrupt ending for both the main game and the bonus game that left me feeling as if I'd missed a few scenes. What can I say that others have not said before? It was okay. Nothing spectacular, and I wished I had waited for the Standard version, but I was holding out hope. Unfortunately for me, was not worth the Collector's Edition price.
I don't recommend this game.

I have enjoyed the last two Dreamland Solitaire games, and I'm enjoying Dark Prophecy as well. Am at about 50th level and as always, the clarity of the images on the cards is stunning. I do agree with other reviewers that the other graphics aren't quite as sharp as the first game, but the gameplay is, as always, superb, so I will let that part go. Choice of music in this CE, which is nice, and other perks. The only reason I paid for a CE version was because I was too impatient to wait for the standard version, but the length of gameplay makes it more than worth the expense. You'll get many, many hours of enjoyment with this one.
I recommend this game!

Yeah, another Vacation Adventures Cruise Director game! Look forward to these every summer and this version 7 does not disappoint. Always a pleasure! Don't forget to allow the C++ to install - I'm paranoid about 'allowing' my computer to do stuff like this but it works fine and the game played without hitches. Some new scenes, some not so new, but always hours of calm, serene enjoyment. Now all I have to do is wait for the next installment of the Park Rangers and I'm good!
I recommend this game!
