My peeve with HO and POV games is no option to skip ALL of the mini-games if any just don't work out. Such was the case here. After attempting Mercilessly to get through the VanCave, only to get stuck on the idiot Ghost video game. No option to bypass or skip and trying the Hint to get me through was useless.

I got through barely 5-minutes of this demo before realizing its elementary state. In fact I grew bored during the start. The graphics were slow moving and the front bench with Olivia's name dragged a bit. After circling around the train, and the rose bush I got confused on how to move forward, as the hint button kept bringing me back to the bench!
I've played over 50 HO games, some that were lame, many others that have been award-worthy. This one is not one of those, unfortunately. Great for beginners, but not experienced or master players.
I don't recommend this game.

Certainly I gave it the full benefit, but I just didn't get it and couldn't get beyond the opening sequence, which became confusing at best. By the time I entered the museum and zoomed in on that water tank thingy, the Hint was no help in suggesting what I do next. I was left hanging back and forth in that area for more than 2 minutes which is not great, considering I'm an advanced player who owns over three dozen HO games.
I don't recommend this game.

Very rarely do I give low ratings unless a game totally sucks. As in bad graphics, archaic gameplay, slow loading/playing/HO.
But I just could not get through only 10 minutes of the demo before determining a NOPE. Game time between the street into and following the dude into the subway there-out was boring as heck. The tedious punching the card, getting the token, wandering dumbly from door to door. And the first HO, having to match up street signs was beyond elementary yesterday. I've played better games with more intense graphics.
I don't recommend this game.

I adore creepy doll games, haunted games, sinister games etc. This one had potential at start but failed quickly after I'd entered the hotel lobby, following the opening sequence.
The Fear Magazine 'smoke over' with every forward/back maneuver was a pointless interruption and is acceptable only during actual scene changes, not forward/backward moves.
The first HOP "hidden" letters were in plain sight for 'solving' the supposed mystery phrase. But became ridiculous and confusing after backing out to the parking lot sign, where the supposed first-half letter phrase was not to be found.
There was no SKIP option to move on, during the Letters HOP (in spite playing Casual mode) only the standard HINT feature, that did nothing except lazily bounce around a group of letters, instead actually pointing to or highlighting the right one needed.
I could not finish the Demo.
I don't recommend this game.

I got ten minutes into the Demo Train Ride, to realizing it wasn't for me. Just dumb elementary clues, and second-rate graphics. I was expecting a more intensive, advanced version Murder series. This game is great for beginners or those who are more into elementary level games. But not for advanced users, more inclined to intense graphic scenes, such as Ravenhearst or Dark Parables.

Not sure how others rated this so high, but I got through barely 10-minutes of play before exiting. Way too elementary. Cheesy "box" icon that seems to disembody float. Too long of changes or blips between finding clues. Very boring "dialogue" trails. I just didn't make sense of it.

Barely moved through the first phase of the front yard and entryway before becoming bored (in spite the 'extreme graphics and content' warning) Recommended for 1st-time gamers only.

I got through only 10-minutes of this before realizing it was more an elementary level challenge than Adult. The opening sequence should have been the giveaway, but I wanted to offer it a shot. The graphics were just okay. Pure grade school than mature, but I'll give it that. Just not a serious game for me.
I recommend this game!

It looked interesting enough for a Halloweenish type game. But after 10-15 minutes, I realized the content was mediocre. Nothing truly intense, and I require serious, dark content. to qualify as an adult HO game, which this is not. And some of the graphic content responded too slowly to continue my interest.
I don't recommend this game.
