Overall: Bright colorization, lots of purple, good graphics, back and forth game, but map transports, however hint takes too long to recover. Many tasks to complete, numerous two part items to put together, lots of potion items to collect, so you will keep busy running around collecting items. Hidden Object Games were okay but nothing new, mostly clear items and varied, some interactive, some storybook types. Mini Games were overly abundant and old, familiar styles that have been overdone, sometimes lack of clarity in inventory items, and several items requires frequent back and forth. After an hour of play, I decided this game is not for me and I will pass on purchase. I will recommend it because I’m sure others may enjoy this game. On a positive note, I liked the cat! On the negative, I really dislike overdone purple! Since we all have different tastes and opinions, I suggest you take a trial run to see if you enjoy the game play. Mine is just one opinion. 27 Mini Games 20 Hidden Object Games 132 Zoom Zones 36 Locations 12 Characters Graphics: Way too bright for my taste and way too much purple, after a while I found the colorization more annoying than pleasant Sounds: Okay appropriate for scene/event Music: Turned down low Characters: Excellent outfit design as well as detail to attention on character features. Mouth moves, a blink here or there but otherwise wooden. The imprisoned healer on the island is familiar, he was an evil, wimpy prince who wanted to marry the princess to take over the throne, I remember him because his character design was so out of place in that game compared to all the rest. Voice over: Good and different Hint: Could be a lot shorter, you will use it a lot! Use custom to decrease it Map: Teleports Hidden Object Games: Nothing new, good clarity a bit cluttered, many items, interactive, as well as storybook Mini Games: Nothing new, many similar old design, lots of shuffling, moving stuff around to complete, and they seemed to pop up more than I liked, sort of became annoying, so skipped them. You make lots of potions to heal people along the way which requires collecting herbs/flowers/etc. After healing three people in the trial, I decided that was enough for me Morph/Collect: Yes
Overall: Was going to purchase this based on ratings, but said to myself, "Give it a test run." Good thing I did, I can't believe the high ratings. All I can say is test it yourself. I disliked it from the start and it was a struggle to make it through the hour trial. I won't purchase this one.
Gritty graphics often bright, poor intro (which should be the best they can offer to entice the player, it was disappointing), repetitive music, macabre objects, creepy characters, another asylum theme, back and forth, and too many mini games.
This game is bizarre and it was a downright unpleasant experience from the get go! Story isn’t anything new just another creepy version of of asylum theme. Sadly, I really disliked it from the start and this is rare. But, in all fairness, take the test trail to see if you like this type of game and/or theme.
Graphics: Immediately disliked, grainy, dark, dull and sometimes too bright Music: Repetitious, turned down Sounds: Appropriate to scene/event Hint: Good, transports Hidden Object Games: Dark corners, hard to see object, interactive, two sided one was different and nice change Mini Games: Maze! Ugh! Too many Characters: Creepy, some well-designed, others oh well Voice overs: Good, mostly over the top
Overall: I thought the graphics were better than some games I've played lately. It was the only thing the pushed me to finish the trial.
Beautiful witch with lots of blonde hair encounters settler and he disappears, his wife must head to town for help. The town is well designed and the castle interior crafted with attention to detail and nicely decorated. The library was also well designed and crafted.
Lots of moving back and forth and putting plus items together and an abundance of inventory items. I did notice some improvements but been there, seen all this before in Eipix games and it's becoming very boring and old!
Since they pretty much got the graphics part down, maybe they might focus on animated characters and interesting and out of the box story lines that pull people into the story. I suggest a trial test of the game as some may enjoy it and some will want it to add to their Eipix collections, but I'm done with Eipix until they figure out that offering us the same thing isn't the doing the right thing. They need to bring in new talent to move them forward with innovation and craftsmanship. Their potential is amazing but sadly they aren't pushing the envelope in my opinion. I won't purchase this one either.

Graphics: Absolutely beautiful with attention to detail and design Music: Okay turned down-from relaxing to sometimes repetitious Sounds: Appropriate to event Inventory: Sometimes overwhelmed and without clarity, but eventually items come together or are used Hint: Wonderful, fast, and sometimes transports, all good because a lot of back and forth Characters: Beautifully crafted, but mostly wooden, but a few with some animation-an improvement Voice overs: Very good Hidden Object Games: Good, some dark areas, come items lacked clarity as to what they were, but nicely crafted for the most part Mini Games: Not a fan, did a few but I found nothing new or interesting to attempt the rest, found those more juggling and rotating rather than strategy. Too many vs. hidden object games.
Overall an okay game, but feel like I've been there before with this developer, a lot of back and forth action so good that the hint transported, mini games were abundant with various levels, hidden object games were a good mix and frequently interactive but often had to find objects under other items. Graphics sometimes had a lack of continuity and consistency in development and design, often felt like I was walking into another game that was poorly crafted? I’m sure fans of this series will follow this new journey. For new players, accept the option to test the game for an hour to see if you like how it plays out. As for me, I will not purchase this one.
Graphics 3/5 Varied in quality, a few beautiful moments but many grainy appearing scenes. Differences very obvious. Music 2/5 Okay, turned down Sound 3/5 Appropriate to event Characters 2/5 A few beautifully crafted, but all wooden with little animation Voice Overs 3/5 Good voices, varied Hint 3/5 Worked well but with all the back and forth could have been faster, good that it transported HO 3/5 Great scenes, but some interactive where you have to click on everything to find items hidden under other objects Mini 3/5 Easy to long, just too many of them Storyline 2/5 Familiar theme, overdone, time to think outside the box
Overall: Was bored 15 minutes into trial, but tried to give it a fair test. Graphics were okay but NOT on par to some of the beautifully crafted games that make you say, “Wow, they really put their hearts and artistry in this game.” It’s pretty much same dated, typical Eipix presentation with that “been there, seen that before” feeling. Characters are wooden with minimal animation, and the game entails a lot of back and forth vs. move forward with anticipation of next scene/event. Sadly there is nothing new in this game that pulled me into the story. Series fan will probably purchase to add to collection. New players, take advantage of the great option to test the game for free for an hour to see if you enjoy it. There is always hope that developers will step up with some new tricks. As for me, I will not purchase another Eipix game until some changes are made, the old games were something to look forward to, but lately all have been disappointing, which is really sad. Overall: 2/5 Graphics 2/5 Music 3/5 Sound 3/5 Hints 4/5 Hidden Object 3/5 Mini 3/5 Characters 2/5 Voice Overs 4/5 Storyline 2/5
Graphics were exceptional, sound was appropriate to scenes and music was not annoying. Story line scenes were well done. Hidden Object games were detailed, had lots of objects to explore and provided some variety. Mini Games are abundant with lots of memorization sequences. Also some of the Mini Games were different and I'm sure fans of Mini Games will be pleased. Characters were rather wooden with dialogue boxes on lower screen, but well designed and varied. Hint transports to locations which is good because you go back and forth a lot! For fans of this series I recommend this game to continue the journey. For new players of this series, take a test with the free trial. Worth your time to see how you like this game and if you do, it will open a whole series of adventures for you.
Beautiful graphics, hint transports, abundance of mini-games, graphics adjustment in options. Another tired Gray Family journey with Father Richard, who has been somewhat improved, but he still seems like a waste of time and space to pop up and hand his daughter something she forgot or needs. A stranger wants something returned that the family took from him back when and creates havoc and death (?) from the start, so the story line pulls you in right away. Beautifully crafted design and scenes with attention to detail and most characters are attractive with good voice overs. Excellent Hidden Objects games, detailed, with good variety but not enough of them for my taste. Mini-games are over abundant and they pop up just about every step of the way, and for that reason I will not purchase this game and honestly I'm tired of the Gray family drama, however I will recommend this game because of all the good qualities it brings to the table, but I also suggest a trial run to see if this game fits your game style and enjoyment level.
Graphics were a little on the bright side, but excellent details and didn’t distract from the game. Sounds and music were fine. Characters were well designed and realistic. Hints transported which is always nice. Hidden Object games offered clarity and no dark corners, interactive and instead of a childish picture book developers used a Hidden Object game where you find parts of an item to complete the story. Nice change! Mini Games were easy to hard, but well done and fans will enjoy. Morph and collect a couple items which turned out to be fun instead of spending too much time searching for them. The story switches between two characters, attractively crafted, to move their story forward. Save the Kingdom. Find your soulmate. It has all themes that are familiar but in this case the journey is enjoyable because of the fine craftsmanship and scenery as you move forward. I will consider purchasing this game. Give it a test trial, well worth your time.
Good introduction that pulled me into the game. I liked the modern approach and somewhat different theme versus the typical fairy tale or macabre story line. This game provides hope for a change in some of our appreciated great developers’ mindsets to explore different themed story lines. Graphics are a bit on the bright side but didn’t distract from the game. Sounds and music were fine. Humans had great voice overs, excellent design/development, great scenes. Hints were great. Hidden Object game items were clear and detailed, interactive and enjoyable. Not a fan of Mini Games, but I actually enjoyed some and liked that a few offered a different approach. I will purchase this game, but I suggest give it a test run and try out the nice option of “trial.”
Excellent graphics, well done with attention to detail, sounds were appropriate to scene and music didn’t distract. Characters were rather wooden, but beautifully crafted and detailed. Not a fan of the dialogue box at bottom of screen that offers you an option to continue or skip, suppose it saved having to design more animated characters, but a shame because the characters were so well crafted. Hidden Object games provided clarity in detail, but some items took a while to find, so good job. Mini-games were well designed and some were simple, some were more time consuming. Morphing items, gloves. I always enjoyed this series and missed this one, so wanted to try it. This is a move forward game and it held my interest. Beautiful detailed scenes and locations with lots of items to observe. The wooden characters and dialogue box were disappointing, but the story and design saved the day, so I will purchase this game. As always I suggest you give it a trial run to see if you enjoy it.
