I only played the demo and my adrenalin is still soaring! The story begins with Marco Polo handing a priceless pearl over to a comrade for safe keeping, in his last moments from his death bed. Keep it out of the hands of the greedy, evil Zambetti family!! No, we do not like them but this would be a pretty dull adventure without them in the picture.
Honestly, this was the most exciting game I've ever played. The escapades had me so edgy, just rapid fire, one thing after another. And that's just the demo! A thrill a minute and if the entire game is like this, it looks like we're in for a long, wild ride. The ninjas will see to a big part of that, I'm sure. Right from the start, we battle ninjas, zoom off to Japan, parachute into criminal territory. The non-stop challenges were amazing!
I loved the music. The graphics were stellar, the scenery was gorgeous, the storyline was outstanding. The characters were super fine and the voices were superb. There was such detail involved in everything.
The assortment of HOGs and puzzles were very satisfying in every way for me, being complex, challenging, interesting. I skipped one thinking it would take too much of what time I had remaining of the demo. I really liked the narrative HOG and the others were quite interactive.
There was a good map, but can't address the collectibles because I was far too busy to pay attention to the extras.
Thank goodness Waradi Tayal called H.E.L.P. in on this case. Otherwise, I would have missed out on an abundance of breathtaking action. Just stand aside when I make a mad dash for the Buy Button! I absolutely love the H.E.L.P Expedition games. I'm anxious to see how this all plays out! In my opinion, very deserving of 5 stars.

When Maestro Benedetto was found dead in his parlor, I was quickly arrested for his murder. Not wanting to wear that deadly necklace, I managed to get the heck out of Dodge! Now you have to step in and take it from there. In my opinion, it's a good story, though not the best of this type.
I enjoyed the HOGs, they were full not crowded and I always love interactivity. They were challenging, but posed no problems as far as being too dark, too small, too tedious, etc. The HOG on the boat was really fun. The puzzles were okay but I'm not a fan of music related ones that involve remembering sequences. However, in this game they were doable, even though I did skip a couple I just did not care for.
It was nice not having to hunt and peck everywhere, trying to use the inventory items. Everything was pretty straight forward. I'm glad there were no special tools or helpers to deal with. Just the jump map with no frills was enough, quickly taking me here and there.
I thought the graphics were lovely with nicely detailed scenery, buildings and interiors, costumes, etc. They showed picturesque Italy with beautiful, subtle colors.
Did not see many people in the demo, but Benedetti and Tonelli were nicely rendered, except for their stiff movements. The voices were clear and natural sounding. Lip-sync was good, if that matters to you.
I feel 5 stars is a fair rating, since I've not really been disappointed with earlier Danse Macabre games. Even knowing there's a first time for everything, I'll take a chance and buy this one.

I beta tested this game and enjoyed it quite a bit. I'm a sucker for stories that turn a person into any kind of nature creature.
The Empress, Patricia, is very infected with the Dark Seed disease and a potion has to be concocted for her immediately. Patricia recalls how a black figure came into her bedroom as she slept and was touching her clothing. I don't know if it was her bed clothing or just the clothes in her closet. Might be a significant clue. She thought it was just a dream until she felt changes in her health and put 2 and 2 together. Hopefully it's not too late to save her from the horrid transformation.
You are THE best Healer in the entire realm, who has magical immunity, and have been summoned to heal her. Teresa, the maid servant is also transforming. So get with it, Healer. You have been ordered by the Empress to apprehend the Black Magician before he frees all the black magic users from the Anti-Magic Prison. He was in her chambers that night, looking for her medallion which is needed to accomplish his evil deed.
You have access to the Imperial Griffin as your speedy transportation and her guards are at your command. So get in there and do your duty! Your (annoying?) little bird helper stays in the inventory until you need him for a task.
There are 64 crystals to find throughout the game, that will modify your zoo pets. A few other fun collectibles, even cupcakes. You can choose the difficulty of your mini games. I loved the HOGs that give you statements with highlighted words to help find the hidden object. And I liked my name being written blood, in the registry book at the entrance of the Medico Imperium.
The graphics were beautiful, the colors appropriate for the time depicted. The characters were well done and the music was not irritating. I hope the bird helper doesn't keep you from the Dark Seed. I thought it was a good game and look forward to purchasing it. Sometimes I have to take that leap of faith, and especially with trees involved, I've just got to do it
I love solitaire and have waited a good while for another Far Kingdoms. But This latest edition is different from the others. It gives very little info to get you started. No fancy stuff and the card backs are not at all attractive.
I didn't play many levels in the demo but they seemed easy and then that took a different direction...I replayed 3 in a row so many times it was ridiculous. Really hurt my ego! But it was 4am, maybe my brain just needed a little kick-start to think more clearly.
There were new features,, missing relics, HOGs and kingdom upgrades. We don't get to choose the upgrades, but it's still fun to see the changes while travelling through the game. A big hooray for 150 levels and of course solitaire always has great replay value.
I don't know if this Far Kingdoms is easy or difficult, but the 2 game modes can give you the options. It will probably become more challenging as the game progresses. The demo enticed me enough to buy it as I know it will be a quality game and provide endless hours of relaxed enjoyment. Will also purchase the new Zombie solitaire. Had to think a bit on that one, but after reading the reviews I am taking that leap of faith, especially since we have a decent sale today!
It is a good, solid storyline that will keep you captive. At least it did in my case. Just the trial version demonstrated what I think is a terrific game waiting for us. I have read some reviews placing it on the easy side, but it matters little to me if the story keeps me hooked...and it did!
I really got the heebie-jeebies upon seeing a few unsettling things on the grounds of the estate. So far, in the demo, the only relief I had in this psychological thriller was a humorous moment involving a rat on the steps, and then a lovely cat sitting near a ruined old car. Reminded me of a previous pet.
The graphics are nice and sharp, and are sporting colors that represent the scenes and evil atmosphere very well. Not much talking so far, but pretty sure the voices will all sound great. Sometimes inferior voices can take away from a good story. The music made me edgy, like something was about to reach out and touch my already jittery state of mind. I get caught up in games and movies because of my overly active imagination sometimes. Besides, sneaking around a creepy mansion without getting caught by these psycho killers is hard work.at my age. (lol)
The puzzles and HOGs were very enjoyable, not terribly challenging. But there are different difficulty modes to tweek the challenges. I like trying the different modes just to see how much they do change. The morphs and hidden sketches were good. I found only a few in the demo. The sketches were the sticklers, I discovered not a one. Check out the really creepy dolls in the extras, the hidden eyes are involved. Yikes! Never liked dolls anyway!
I loved what I have seen so far, so I will certainly buy this game when a good sale shows up. 5 stars seems to be an appropriate rating in my opinion.

I've played this on my Nook Tablet for several years, Was very happy to find it on Big Fish. The game has 100 levels of fun and it is definitely one you will play over and over again. It has provided me years of entertainment and I never tire of it.
The tiles are big, bright and colorful. It does have some challenge to it when you play in timed mode, which was my favorite. But you can switch back and forth between relaxed and timed whenever you want. Sometimes the option saved me from having to replay a level all over again.
It is a sweet, relaxing game and the kids will love it as well as adults. It's good to have something to provide a break from the busy games. Also a steady diet of evil, demons, witches and the like needs some getaway time, too. Spring Bonus is just what the doctor ordered! Give it a try and you might find yourself relaxed and having a good dose of fun.

Aunt Miranda disappears from all her photos and is also missing from her home. When Jane and Mike arrive, they try to unravel the mystery and soon embark on a journey through time. A futuristic pair of gloves with special powers have been found in auntie's basement, which can create a transition in time. Suddenly a portal appears. Jane and Mike step through the portal hoping to locate Aunt Miranda. Finding themselves in 1478 Italy, they know their time-line is way off. And I think the rescue attempt from this point should provide some decent entertainment.
There were 4 HOGs and 7 games in my demo time. WOW! Every one was really great. Very different, challenge depends on which game mode you choose. The HOGs were lots of fun, very interactive. Especially loved the first one which was full of toys and interactive in surprising ways.
I didn't experience a lot of the actual storyline because of so many games, which isn't a bad thing. But I did see enough to know that it will probably be a good, busy adventure.
The graphics, colors, voices were all excellent. The characters were extremely well done. Music didn't irritate me to death. The scenes were lovely to look at.
This seems to be a very generous Standard Edition and has promise of an entertaining adventure through time. I just hope it isn't too bogged down with games. Not many good SEs have come our way, for far too long.
Thanks to other reliable reviewers I always manage to make the right choice when shopping for games. So I purchased this one soon after demo, and will rate it 5 stars.
God Bless....
I recommend this game!

I played the entire demo and enjoyed every minute of it! Yes, the game had dark scenes...it was night, the house was dark, lit only by sparse candles and the darkness, IMO, depicted the storyline's shroud of evil. Why does every game have to be shining under a huge spotlight? And why jump to unfair conclusions, because a couple of things just aren't appealing? I don't feel it is fair, even if my opinion of this game puts me alone or in the minority.
So, I found the game enjoyable. I had no problem with any part of it. As soon as Nostradamus arrived at Gregory's house there was plenty to do. The game mechanics were very different and took some getting use to and slowed me down, but getting past that it proved to be entertaining.
I was mixing a potion in the alchemist lab in Gregory's house when my demo ended. So my info will not be lengthy.
Nostradamus comes to his friend's aid, to help free his home from an evil spell. Once he arrives there are many areas to search, tasks to perform and ingredients to mix for potions. An apocalyptic vision is becoming more vivid and the reality of it is getting too close for comfort. This requires much work to be done to defeat the forces of evil. If not, there is a very grim future at hand. There are some interesting things that the items in the inventory are used for along the way, some start at the game's beginning. Not spectacular, just interesting.
I loved the HOGs, they were quite challenging, but skippable. I loved that you can zoom in on them using your mouse wheel and it really helped for spotting some of the smaller items. The scenes were kind of dark but they posed no problem for me and I only used the hint once.
The puzzles were really good, I had several of them. They were skippable, too. They were different and not too difficult.
At the end of one of the HOPs, all the items for the potion were brought up from the inventory and its function was described. I liked that feature...makes it easier to mix the ingredients properly. Have never seen that in any other game. The inventory items were quite small. Using them was a little tricky, much different than other games. Can't explain, how stuff works in the game, it will just require patience and really should not be a hindering factor. Also the inventory is always hidden out of sight, to view it just tap the top of its frame.
I thought the graphics were very good. They were not extremely small to me and nothing was grainy or foggy or out of focus or anything like that on my computer. I felt the colors were appropriate for the time represented in the story. The 2 characters in the demo looked good.
There is a volume control in the options setting for those who want to get rid of the music which one reviewer claimed could not be turned off. I just turned it way down and used my external speaker if I needed to hear dialogue clearly. But there was SO LITTLE of it, you would not miss a thing if you turned volume completely off. I think I recall written dialogue all through the demo anyway.
So, my overall thoughts on this game are....it isn't a top ten, there's no over the top plot, no attractive characters. But the demo showed me good puzzles and HOGs, it was an interesting storyline which I think may develop into a pretty good game. I will purchase with today's BOGO sale and hopefully enjoy my choice. Sometimes I think we just have to take a chance. And, honestly, some of my choices have been real duds! But it is just a game after all and speaking for myself, I'll get over any bad choice I make.
In the midst of a battle for the Academy of Alchemy, a young promising student, Eliana, is sent on a dangerous mission of retrieving three powerful artifacts, the Dragon Crystals.
I beta tested Queen's Tale III and found it pleasant and entertaining, even with all the locked-up things and keys to be found. I played the demo today just to refresh my memory a little and see if my opinion remains the same. But I found the demo to be a little shorter than usual. Not that it matters much.
A few other 5 star reviewers loved everything about the game as I did, so I need not repeat it. I do think it is a good storyline, not an horrendous amount of evil engulfing us. But enough to add a good dose of danger and excitement to keep the interest up and the fun element of magic and potions to save the day and the kingdom from gargoyles and evil-doers.
The characters, colors, graphics were all excellent. Games and puzzles were fun, challenging, different. It is a good, light adventure game that provides a break from the really heavy-duty subject matter that we probably play more often than not.
IMO, this game is suitable for all ages and levels of skill. And the magic should appeal to all the Harry Potter fans out there.

The demo was pretty entertaining. a lot happened in short amount of time, which isn't the case with most other demos. The opening scene on the battlefield was just the beginning of a very strange case, for the very famous detective.
The reviewers ahead of me pretty much covered it all, so no need to add my almost identical thoughts.
I would like to add that I was impressed with the complexity of the games in the demo. Actually, one in particular that really put my thought processes into overdrive. The puzzles were lots of fun, very different. The graphics were just amazing and so colorful, appropriately so. The characters were rendered so realistically and just seem to improve more and more in each game by these developers. The sound, special effects, music were perfect.
I love MCF games because the storylines are always so interesting and for me, not so easy to travel through the game without stopping to reflect on things. My pace, even though not quick, still slows down somewhat...and that is the sign of a good game.
All MCF games so far have been superb so I think I can safely assume it will be the same with this one. I will absolutely purchase this CE and look forward to hours of sheer delight.
