I viewed the Sneak Peek of this game and it was very good and the Irish Step Dancing added something different to the theme. I'm sure the entire game will be of fine quality. The story is about the O'Connor family participating in a dance performance, but the fun and carefree evening is interrupted when Finn O'Connor believes he sees a banshee in the audience. He's pretty shaken up even though he could have imagined her. But why?? So that's the basis of our story and the beginning of trying to solve this very good mystery tale.
The graphics and characters were excellent, as were the voice-overs. The colors were rich and beautiful. I loved the music! The puzzles and HOGs were very entertaining, with just the right amount of challenge. My favorite game was the one with putting the dance steps in correct position. I've always found the HOGs in my other Danse Macabre games to be very good and this game presented the same quality. The game itself however, I felt, was much better than a few of the previous ones.
I didn't find many of the extras in my allotted time, but it didn't bother me. My main concern is always a good map, which we have here, and the strategy guide. Was happy to see the custom mode, as I always like to adjust the hint and skip.
Since I am anxious to discover the connection between Finn O'Connor and the mysterious woman/banshee, I will definitely buy this game. I am sure it will not be a disappointment!

How delightful to find Park Ranger 6....I own and love them all. Everything about these games is absolutely the tops, just so much beauty and fun. I love the puzzles/games and I'm glad spot the difference is included. The hidden objects are nicely blended into the busy background and they are small, making the hunt more challenging which is what I love.
The scenery is so attractive and makes me long for the years when I was fortunate to have visited so many National Parks. These sweet games take me hiking down Memory Lane. I love all the attention to little details, the wildlife inserted along the way, the activity depicted in each scene. The addition of real-people characters also makes the Park Ranger games a special treat. But I don't understand why the rangers, pilots, etc have to be what I call borderline animated.
I think there is such great value with this series. Just the replay fun is worth every penny. Add to that the peaceful nature settings and the depiction of a happy time and you have a wonderful game to enjoy with family. The educational value, too, makes it perfect for the kids. We have such an over abundance of dark, intense games these days...I find a much needed step into the light with Park Rangers and hope the series has a long future.

Five scientific explorers vanish during their research on Ancient Astronauts. They were in various parts of the world searching for artifacts so the special inside investigator travels to each location looking for clues that will uncover what happened.
The game was a fictionalized version of a true story, which added more interest to the story, but in this case not very much. However, I did like the story a lot, except for the weak ending. I expected much more in the way of aliens and excitement just because ancient astronauts have been a hot topic for such a long time.
The story moved along at a good pace and each character had his/her own little story and things to find, leading to their location. I liked the music which changed with each global area. The graphics were great and contained some interesting characters and things along the way that were helpful and unusual.
The games were all interesting and challenging, especially the slider fingerprint puzzle. The HOGs were a good challenge, but there were not many of them. I thought the hint system was actually more helpful than most with its multiple question options. There was no map that I can recall, but wasn't necessary. There was very minimal back and forth. Very little spoken dialogue but quite different and reading never bothers me at all anyway. But near the end of story I was surprised to hear screaming that was very unnerving, conjuring up images in my mind of some poor soul being tortured by the always experiment-intent little grey men. But nothing materialized to justify my fears.
Overall, it was a pretty decent game and I believe it to be suitable for most age groups and can be enjoyed at any skill level. Also, no frightening or bloody scenes to worry about.
I recommend the game for some easy fun, about 5 hrs or so, but the CE version is definitely not worth the extra $$.
Love sci-fi? Then try Voyage....great, surprisingly beautiful, challenging.

Having beta-tested this game a long while ago, I was anxiously waiting for it to be released and had to buy it right away. And I missed Mr. Jenkins! I'm quite fond of him and his quirky behavior. He's delightful and doesn't make any noise while he's being a good little helper! He's just a silly kitty!
I loved the Cursed Guards with its adventure, magic spells and resurrected knights that needed a good buffing. Then there they go to do their dark deeds under command of the very evil king. The entire game was very entertaining and its storyline was very good, moving along at a nice pace.
The graphics were excellent, as were the characters and the voices. I loved the special effects and sounds. Plus I always appreciate the superb work of the artists who create the great scenery and colors appropriate to the time period depicted in the game. I thought everything was done very well.
The CE version was not overloaded with morphs (cats) and collectibles, which works in my favor. I really love trying to find them all, but too much of a good thing can sometimes become a nuisance rather than fun. Happily, this game did not create a distraction problem.
The HOPs were exceptional, in my opinion. The items were very creatively blended, creating a greater challenge. So I was extremely pleased and felt a nice little sense of achievement when everything was found. The games were more on the easy side, but were still fun. I tried different game modes, but they didn't offer much of a change.
I own hundreds of games! Do I need another? Absolutely yes, because the Cursed Guards "Buy Me Spell" made me do it!! In my opinion, it's a super-duper game...it provided a good story, lots of entertainment, the company of a silly cat and a satisfactory challenge. No complaints on this one! If I started a club for HOPA addicts, would I be the only member?

I love underwater themed games and this one went over and beyond my expectations. It was a long game for me and pretty bare-bones when it came to a helping hand, but that added even more fun to it.
Davy Jones has always been an interesting high seas tale, so that prompted my interest. I loved the storyline. It was solid and easy to follow and was shrouded with sadness for all those lost, imprisoned souls. Just imagine being trapped there forever and aware of your situation. Only a story, I know, but still a horrid thought.
The graphics were pretty basic but the different art style made them interesting and a little unusual. On my computer the scenes were smaller than normal but posed no problem with finding items, as they were all clear and crisp. The colors were excellent. I enjoyed the underwater locations and the characters. Although there were no voices, I thought it was suitable for taking place underwater and the characters being dead. I never skipped any of the written dialogue, afraid to miss something important to my progress and I read everything in all my games, never find it boring or waste of time.
One thing not to my liking was the pathetic little map with all the back and forth involved. But I finally picked up a string of good luck finding what I needed. My pace quickened and I thankfully made it to the finish! I never want to give up so this was a big victorious moment that I quietly celebrated with my cat!
In my opinion, this was a wonderful little game. It was full of challenging tasks and well hidden items, giving the opportunity to test your patience and memory skills. There were not many games but they were very good and for me, just challenging enough to keep frustration from moving in.
The ending could have been a little better but it wasn't bad. Not too abrupt and kept with the storyline which is not the case with many games. I was happy to see the souls rising from the watery depths after Davy Jones was held to his promise after losing at his own game.
I absolutely recommend this game. I certainly was not disappointed!

Finally it has arrived! I have been waiting and watching since beta testing months ago. So I am a happy camper in the safety of my home.
This is a good solid storyline, as every spooky campfire tale should be. The graphics and color are perfect in my opinion, as are the characters and voices. I thought the evil one was very scary and just creepy enough for me! Just THINKING someone like that stalks the night is good enough reason to love my microwave s'mores even more!
The games and HOGs did not disappoint me a bit, I thought they were very good and colorful. Games were interesting. I liked the collectible paws and figurines a lot, but did not see a bunch in the trial time. That's okay, because I am definitely buying this game
I know this will be an excellent, fun game for me as the trial was a strong indication. I highly recommend this 5 star goodie!
* A sinister lizard-like villain who needs an attitude adjustment. * Two sisters who should find a different hobby. * One drives without ever looking at the road. * Characters well done, although Sanderian moves robotically and had too much plastic surgery on his face.
*Gorgeous scenes that awaken our visual senses. * Everything brightly/unusually colored, adds more interest. *A different kind of pet helper with its unexpected talent
*Several game modes, including Custom *Really good games, colorful, nice challenge, skippable. *Interactive HOGs, lots of fun, some more difficult than others *Match 3 available if HOGs frustrate you, can switch back and forth whenever you want.
There was not much action in the demo but the tasks and goals were entertaining. I succeeded in finding a good amount of collectibles, there was a good map and journal. Seems to be a solid, not-too-complex sci-fi tale. It should provide enough plot to hold our interest.
5 chapters is usually a long game for me because I take my time "enjoying the view". I just may need the strategy guide this time, too. I liked the task and goals in this game.
A talking lizard AND a talking horse?! What more do we need for an entertaining romp through yet another portal, with just enough danger thrown in for good measure.
These pictures, IMO, are not necessarily ugly. I think they are just not the typical sweet images we love so dearly. The recent dark-style Alice movies and these pictures have similarities.
I think the colors are nice and bright and most of the images are fine. Whether we call it a jigsaw or a mosaic matters little, as it is still a puzzle. This one certainly is not what we normally see representing a children's tale and that bothers me somewhat. In this regard, I can agree that difference is sometimes not so appealing.
The one thing, however, I always greatly dislike, are these "models??", "posers??" who I believe absolutely ruin the photo with their silly poses, make-up, costumes, etc. The others pictures in this set of puzzles really are not bad, but definitely out of the ordinary for Alice.
I worked 8 of these and quit the demo to write my review. No need to go any further with it. I did enjoy the ones I completed and was happy to see the relaxed mode, since that is how I usually play. I believe the features offered were the same as we normally find with this type of puzzle.
The differences in imagery thus far were interesting enough to make me want to see the entire package. So I will purchase on Bonus Punch Monday with a coupon. I sincerely don't feel my decision will bring me any disappointment.
This demo was tempting because of the storyline. and turned out to be lots of fun. I'm looking forward to a good story based on the locale and the plot involving a treasure hunt, a mysterious ship, and a missing business partner. I hope some history or foreign language has been included so we can learn a little something of this far away icy place.
I loved the interaction with characters, it adds more interest. Actually Dagny got a bit irritated with me, coming back to her a few times after her initial meeting with Nancy. I ruffled her impatient feathers with my inexperience, I guess!
Navigation throughout the demo was easy to learn, with just a few rough spots to overcome. Had a little trouble with backtracking after I overlooked a couple of important places. Other than that, no problems! I took my time, listened to the entire tutorial and learned about all the icons which were a slight challenge for me for a short time.
The graphics were really quite good, sharp and appropriately colored for the scenes in that particular wintery locale. I think the characters displayed good facial expression and body language, although body movement was a just little stiff. The voices and expressed emotion were excellent.
I would venture to say if this game didn't present a negative for ME, being a first-timer, you may enjoy it, also. I did play as Amateur Sleuth but did not encounter a bunch of hints and pop-up stuff that I feel is more of an interference than assistance. I was very grateful for our demos!
I've read many reviews of other Nancy games in my Big Fish years, claiming they are so complicated, too complex, too this or too that (which inhibited my courage to ever try one). But there were also many stellar reviews from long-time Nancy fans. So I finally took that leap of faith and was not a bit disappointed.
I already bought the game with today's sale for $4.99 and will soon brew a delicious cup of coffee and get started with a very long, good-time game!
I try to swear off these scary games, but then a better one comes along that I can't resist, like this one! I liked this storyline and it was entertaining with a definite spooky quality to it. If people would just learn to leave artifacts, locked-away secrets and magic spells alone!! But I guess that would be the end to our Big Fish thrills.
The Moonlight Necklace was a mystical tool that took me on trips through portals, into the minds of family members, some of which should never be traveled. One especially, was pretty crazy. I know these are just made-up stories, but even in real life is any power or knowledge worth losing yourself or your family to eternal darkness?
I really liked the variety of mini games and the fact that they didn't break my brain, trying to solve them. As always I loved the interactive HOGs, the more the merrier! I don't mind that some are repeated scenes, I just like looking for everything. The morphs were not so easy to find which made it more fun. With the collectibles and achievements, this was a pretty good CE. The map was good. Did not like the custom settings this time. They didn't let us decrease the hint and skips times low enough, IMO. Spoiled? Maybe!
I loved the appropriately represented graphics and colors. They suited this particular era in time quite well. The characters were great and the voices were excellent. Stories depicting the 1800s and earlier are usually my favorites.
