I think this is a very good game: interesting story, challenging in hard mode with an atmosphere that reflects the theme of the four horsemen. For me it was an instant buy. Length is good, there is of course the WOW-factor. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
I recommend this game!

IN MY OPINION THIS GAME WAS WAY TOO SHORT..EVEN FOR A SE...WOULD HAVE RATED HIGHER IF IT WAS LONGER THAN 2 HOURS OF GAME PLAY...FEATURES : * 3 levels of play * Jumpable map * HOSs and puzzles straightforward * Hint and skip recharge quickly in casual Graphics and music are pleasing to the eye and ear. Character voices could be more convincing - the sailor's accent had me in stitches! This game has no whistles and bells. It is a straightforward game with an intriguing storyline, ideal for relaxing game play. Worth a try. I have bought with a voucher and might have waited for a sale if I hadn't had one.

Fantasy becomes reality when a young woman goes back to her childhood home and with the help of a friendly gnome, enters a portal to Nearwood! She learns that after her mothers death her father became so distraught that he tried to turn back time but the clock broke and allowed evil to enter the peaceful world of Nearwood. The fantasy themed graphics are crisp and colorful and the video cut scenes are lengthy but does a wonderful job of telling the story. You will collect Snoop See critters in each scene, these are cute little furby/owl critters (best I can describe) and for every 3 Snoop See's you find, There are 111 to collect to be exact, you will unlock another page that tells a story about the Snoop See family. The hidden object scenes are find 12 snails and turtles, or find the item that matches the silhouetted shape. There are quality mini games but nothing new, the one I enjoyed the most was creating a path from top to bottom for water and fire to flow by switching tiles with different angles each intermingling with some stationary tiles as well. The only complaints I have is with the map because every area has something waiting to be done the map shows all locations with active areas even if you don't have the inventory item to complete. And I personally wish there were achievements in this game!! All in all this is one of the good games, enjoy!

There was a menacing atmosphere in this game that made me feel like I was truly going up against evil. Being trapped in "old" Resurrection town, yet being able to see the modern city heightened the sense of urgency to escape and return to the real world. The location graphics didn't look very good; they were grainy and bland. The hidden object scenes were junk piles but looked better than the locations, and the puzzles were of average difficulty, with nothing too original. I liked the adventure game portion of the story, figuring out where to use items, and also talking to the various characters in the game. Some had sad stories, and it was very satisfying to help them all out. There were a few times the game made me jump lol...it was almost too quiet without the voice overs..would've been nice to HEAR them talk rather than read EVERYTHING.. The bonus game is a prequel featuring one of the characters you meet in the game and it was cool to see the "other" side of existing locations. I liked the story, but it was pretty short. I probably would have just gotten the SE instead if I'd known how short it was.
