Oooh, I loved this game. I played the demo on casual. Sparkles indicated hidden object scenes. The HO scenes were not too difficult. Story line was linear and pulled you in. The hour went by so quickly. There are morphing objects to find. The music and graphics are excellent. Many many objects to find and use in puzzles and in solving the mystery. I highly recommend this.

I suppose it's about what you like, and this game grabbed me from the start. You wake up chained to the floor of an abandoned shack. I played on casual. There are interactive HO scenes with sparkles. Mini games were fairly difficult (for me) lol. Great atmosphere and scenery. Music creepy and appropriate for the story. No map. You do have a journal that records codes, etc. Hint button helpful in HO scenes, not too helpful otherwise. I'm downloading the full version as I type :))

The storyline was better than the game itself. I played on casual mode - you have two choices. The hidden object scenes have sparkles around them. The cursor doesn't change into a hand, magnifier, etc., for things lying around. Thus, you really need to have a clickfest to see what you need. Once you do have what you need, the game is very linear. The music and atmosphere is creepy which I love. There is a journal which is basically useless as it just gives little bits of history about the doctor and the task you are supposed to be doing. I will not be purchasing this game.

The crazed serial killer has taken your boyfriend believing you are Red Riding Hood. Graphics and color --- nice. Music, ho-hum. I turned it off. Hidden Object scenes were easy. No interaction in the HO scenes. I only played the demo. I began in a cemetery and ended up at a dock. Choice of 2 modes. I played on casual which gives sparkles to hidden object areas. The game didn't grab my attention. It wasn't a bad game, just not my cup of tea.

I absolutely loved this game. This was my first Haunted Legends game. I will check out the others. I played in casual mode since I am new to the HOPA genre. Graphics were clear, story line was flowing. Hidden object scenes were not overwhelming in difficulty or number. I loved the music and actually left it on. This is a definite buy for me.

This game could have been so much more!!! The setting, New Orleans and the accents were perfect. Then, the "story" starts. However, there really is no story. You are going from HO scene to HO scene collecting ingredients to make voodoo potions. The sound was excellent, except for the annoying noise make during misclicks on HO scenes. The colors were bright. I do not believe there was a choice of difficulty. There is no map, but one isn't needed because basically you are in the same 5 rooms. The hint button is helpful, but slow to recharge. Very slow. There is a spellbook telling you what you need for each spell. I had such high hopes for this. I don't mind some HO scenes, but the one after another.... NO.

This was a well put-together game with great visuals and a plausible story-line. Laura loses her dream catcher and the evil Sandman torments her dreams. A great bargain for a SE game. You have achievements, a great hint button, a helper wombat type creature, and collectibles. The game played smoothly without issues. No hidden object scenes!!! Not one :)) Puzzles were challenging. No map, but you really don't need one. It is set into 3 separate dreams, so you basically finish one and move onto the next. I'm on the fence with this one. Although it had all the "right" things, it just didn't keep my attention.

You are a detective at a creepy carnival searching for a missing mother who was swept away into the hall of mirrors. Very good SE game. There are 3 game modes. No penalties for rapid clicking that I noticed. Story line is fairly simple. Mini games are not too difficult, which I like with me being new to this genre. Bright hidden object scenes with no difficulty finding the objects. You get a little helper monkey who can climb into areas that are inaccessible to you. Cute little guy :) There are also achievements to earn. Game play was smooth, no problems. I enjoyed the game. Definite buy for me.
This is a cute cartoonish game. There is a lot of dialogue, and I do mean a lot!!!. You basically are going back and forth between places finding objects... over and over and over again. It could have been a wonderful game with some tweaking, but it was just too repetitive for me. The objects to be found were extremely small. Even though the scenes were bright, it's very hard to see, say, 5 mousetraps in a room. There was a hint button to help out and I found I was using it just to push the game along, I was so bored of the repetition. I wouldn't recommend this game.
I loved this game. For a SE... well worth the price as a SG is included. Being new to this genre, I did need to consult it a few times to stay on track. There are lots and lots of room at the Chestnut Lodge !!! Hidden Object scenes were fairly easy. Puzzles were intermediate. A lot, and I do mean a lot, of running around. Morphing objects, sometimes very difficult to notice. Achievements. All in all a nice, spooky game. It's a buy for me !!
