Oh, I am definitely doing the happy dance with this game !!! The first Phantasmat is my all time favorite game. I liked the second one, and I absolutely love this one. The HOS are varied and fun. The puzzles were nothing new but I am not a big fan of puzzles, and I was able to complete these. The setting is perfect. I know many reviewers say the game was dark. I didn't notice that, however, the original Phantasmat was a very dark game. The inventory bar was annoying but I quickly learned to keep my distance from it. I loved the story line. I finished the demo with 23 minutes left to play. One thing however, is that I don't feel this is CE worthy. The eyes to collect are very hard to find and did not excite me. The achievements were of the normal game play variety. This has got to be the first game in eons that I absolutely love. Great job Eipix and ty BFG for offering it. I give it 5 out of 5 stars and recommend :)
I recommend this game!

Reveries: Soul Collector
Your wedding day gets interrupted when your fiancée is kidnapped!
I played the very very short demo. We have another story of wedding day trouble, portals, an evil one ruining the wedding day, etc etc. Graphics were very nice. HOS were OK. Some scenes were used more than once. Puzzles were same old same old. You do get a helper... wait for it.... TREE. Yes, a tree. This really was not my type of game. Maybe with a longer demo, I would have become more involved, but as is, I don't recommend.
I was very skeptical at first to even demo this game. I'm not a lover of fairy tale type games. However, I played the full demo and it really was pretty good. I was wondering why I do not have any of the other Love Chronicles games, until I found out they are fragmented HO games and I do not care for those. The HOS here were varied. The puzzles were different LOL. Kind of cheesy, but cute in their own way. The graphics were fairy tale bright, which I normally wouldn't like, but they suited this game fine. The game play was very easy. More for kids or beginners, or someone who doesn't want to venture out into the extreme cold we've been having. I'm not sure what is offered warrants a CE as I saw only morphing objects (actually I did not find ONE morphing object, but I read that they are there), and a few achievements. I would say try the demo for yourself. You may just like it.
Cartoon like graphics. Easy list HOS. Ridiculous puzzles. I wasn't liking the game at this point. Then came the time travel back and forth. Left me exhausted LOL. I felt the story was very disjointed, couldn't really follow what was happening. Gameplay was extremely linear. Not on my list, but do demo for yourself.

I have not played any other of the MCF games, so I cannot compare this to them. I found this story to be disjointed. The graphics were nice, nice choice of options in the menu. However, the large area, and the back and forth, back and forth, etc etc, drove me crazy. There is a map that will transport you if you so desire, but that takes the fun out of the whole game. I give this a pass. I couldn't wait for the demo to be over. The HOS were infantile. The puzzles were either too difficult for me to understand, or utterly ridiculous.
I just got around to trying the (very short) demo for this game. I'm not a big fan of this developer to begin with. As usual, the graphics were great, but the rest of the game was a hodgepodge of a mess. Story line was all over the place. Not sure why they released this as a Christmas game as it's another of those "through the portal" type games. It was more of a hide and seek than a game. Find an object that makes no sense... open something with the object... continue on to something that makes no sense. The extra of the magnifying glass checking for clues was ludicrous. The content is no way deems this as a CE. I will pass on the CE and SE.

I tried this game recently as it won some game of the year award. I have the first Herc. game and liked it. This was like a rat race... run for ONE piece of food or wood before it was stolen, no real point to what you were doing. I love TM games, however this one missed the mark by far. And the highlighting the food and logs and tasks you could do in green... that is part of the fun of figuring out the strategy of these games. i don't recommend.
I don't recommend this game.

Haunted Legends: The Stone Guest Collector's Edition
Someone is stealing the hearts of children – literally! Is it a brilliant inventor, seeking to cure his ailing son? Or has dark magic taken over the village...
I just recently had a chance to play the demo of this. I own a few of the previous games in the Haunted Legends series and enjoyed them. Perhaps it's time to retire the series. This game is overly simplistic and the story is not cohesive (for me). The HOS are ridiculous ... find a certain number of (fill in the blank). The puzzles were just ok. The graphics were standard ERS graphics which have not changed in eons. The music that there was, was the standard ERS drumbeat music. There is an amulet given to you at the beginning of the game, which I have no idea what it's use is. The game seems thrown together. There are certainly no extra oomphs to make this a CE. I shall be passing on both the CE and SE. This seems to be the trend for me lately with the games offered as of late. I don't recommend.
I saw all the 5 star reviews first, and thought, wow a good game. Sadly, I disliked almost everything about it. The HOS were literally junk piles. The mini games were just ok. The game was dark, even though you could adjust the gamma. Everything was very small (and my eyesight is just fine). The story did not draw me in at all. I loved the first 2 games of this series, so this is a disappointment for me. Maybe next time.
I love the previous Fear For Sale games. This one, however, did not live up to my expectations. While the HOS and puzzles were good, and the graphics were good, the story fell flat. The voice of the reporter was spoken in a way that was not believable. The owner of the hotel spoke in an upbeat monotone while she was being taken away by ghosts. Game play was very simplistic. I need a good story to go with a game. This one failed. I was actually glad to be done with the demo. Pass for me.
