I really tried with this _very_ old game (originally 2003!) but I just couldn't justify the hours it would take to learn how to maneuver around and find things in this very cryptic ( in more ways than one) game. There were no hints, other than a walk through and no directions that were easily accessed. The first challenge on starting the game is to find all the directions. It was very dark, disorienting and painstaking work. After about 8 hours of this and only progressing to actually finding a statue ( nightmare trying to find something in a small crowded space with arrows that may, or may not lead you anywhere) I gave up. I might try some of the other Agon games to see if they are any better, but I'm giving a rare dis to this game.
Another psychotic doctor using dark means to “save” someone, in this case, his wife, who however is not blameless in the tragedies that follow, valuing beauty above character. This is my least favorite of this series, mostly because it’s so dark and borrows a lot from the Puppet Master series. Too much blood and gore for me, although the story was interesting. Still at it’s worst it’s better than most of the genre. I’m hoping the next one is brighter and not so gory. For those of you who like the puppet series and others like them, you might really like this.
I recommend this game!

An outstanding game with (at this time)169 reviews and 150 of those were 4 and above! 2012 art work a bit stilted but quite good for the time. Very Sci-Fi. Gripping story and very long with the bonus chapter (here called “The Last Chapter” a prequel) There _are_ collectibles and somehow I managed to get 16 out of 19 but I forgot to look for them or didn’t remember what I was looking for. Next time I need to make notes. As per usual in these old games there was no map, hints are slow but that didn’t bother me, they were often enough to keep me on track. It was so intensive I had to take a couple of breaks and play other games, but I highly recommend this game!

This really is a classic HOPA (Hidden Object (with) Puzzles (and) Adventure. Since I had played this back in 2017 I remembered the feel of the game and some things, but mostly I enjoyed the brisk pace and lots of unusual scenes. This one is Egyptian/Middle-Eastern Arabian. Although I don’t know those cultures and can’t speak to how authentic it was, it was fun! I LOVE the fact that you can go back and find missing collectibles; because some of them are HARD to find! And that fun little mini game at the end after the bonus chapter is a nice way to bring you down from the high of the game:)
I don't remember if I wrote a review of this in 2016 but I do remember having problems with the game. I just got a new computer and it works fine now, and since that was 5 years ago I think I may be forgiven for thinking they were a bit too far ahead of the rest of us. Anyway I really loved this game, especially after this year of poor quality games, due I'm thinking to the pandemic striking the game industry just like it did everybody else. There is no other explanation from devs who normally deliver well structured and engineered games. Working on your own at home, not being able to cross check as easily with one another, having workers get sick; it's all of a piece with what we've all had to endure. So I'm going back and replaying older games and finding after 5 or 10 years I've almost completely forgotten them and am enjoying them no end. This game is *very* long with a bonus chapter and a cute mini bonus chapter that is just several fun little puzzle games. It kept moving, and if I did have to pop back and forth a lot, at least it had a map where I could just click to where I needed to be. One of the best things about this game is the atmosphere sounds: I hardly ever listen to the music, (finding on the whole that it distracts from the game and is annoying) but the atmosphere sounds in this, surf sounds and eerie underwater bells chiming adds to the game a lot. So to the folks at Grand Ma Games, thank you for your hard work, and hopefully 2021 will be a much better year for us all.
I recommend this game!

Millennium Secrets: Emerald Curse
Help Kate save her friend and find a mysterious briefcase! Travel across the world in Millennium Secrets: Emerald Curse!
the emphasis on finding objects to continue your quest. Some interesting puzzles too, which are skippable. You need to be patient and search closely and click often!
I love these old style games where the emphasis is on finding your way through the adventure using patience and observation.

For some reason I got turned around and played this series backwards, starting with the final one, going to number two and now finishing with the original. In many ways it was more challenging than the other two as there was no map and the hints are *very* limited! But the story is intelligent, the pace is good and I got to revel in as many HOS as I could do! The puzzles also were more "do-able". This was before devs got convinced that all the players were puzzle fanatics and geniuses and made the puzzles so hard and inaccessible that only the few could enjoy them. This is an excellent series and I highly recommend it to all folks who love HOGS and Adventure games! My only wish is that they would remake the first one as a CE game! However next time (and this is definitely a repeater game) play them in order: 1. Time Mysteries: Inheritance (SE only) 2. Time Mysteries: The Ancient Specters CE & SE 3. Time Mysteries: The Final Enigma CE & SE I recommend the CE versions if you can swing it; you get more story with the bonus chapters.

For those of us who love HOS and HOGs (hidden object scenes and games) this is a great game. VERY long and much improved over the first in the series (if two games can be a series) It has a map (not interactive), hints and tons of different scenes. Only 35 morphing objects to collect, so they are not in every scene...keep alert! I gave it less than five because the whole game was pretty dark and it was hard to remember where to go next, also the few puzzles were way beyond my wheel house and not very well explained. Sometimes I was able to use the strategy guide, but mostly not. Anyway it was a beautifully long tale with lots of HOS and interesting little mini mystery adventures. Well worth the price according to this HOP (Hidden Object Player!)

I bought this game back in 2014 and hadn't played it since. It really keeps up with all the things I love about BF games. The thing is you need to click on everything, go slow and use your "medallion" that shows hidden objects, in every scene. Even then I missed one thing and thought the game was broken, but no! I went back and played the first half of the game over (ugh!) and discovered I'd missed some pieces of a puzzle I was trying to finish, and they were right there on the screen - I just didn't click enough! This is a very fun game and a real prize for us hidden object/Adventure game lovers. There are a few puzzles, but most I could solve, and when I couldn't it let me skip. The attention to detail by the devs is phenomenal! I just wish there was a sequel :( It makes some of the latest flashy games look cheap and thrown together by comparison. I did get some help on line; I couldn't find the BF walkthrough but there are some on YouTube which can be helpful. Anyway, I HIGHLY recommend this game!
