Loved this game. I rarely spend the money to buy a Collector's Edition but that was what I happened to be playing for my free trial and I was so into the game that I didn't care - I just bought it.
The HO parts were brilliant - when you found items you used them to find other items or build other items or to...you get the picture. The story was great. Gameplay was logical and smart. Only a little back-tracking between different areas (I am NOT a fan of continuously wandering back and forth between the same few scenes but anytime it was done in this game it was necessary and still kept my interest). My only complaint was that the last section felt a little "ok, let's just make this last part really easy so we can end the game." I wish it had stayed on the same level as the rest of the game.
All in all, so glad I bought this game and so sad that it is over!
I recommend this game!

I do like the story-line, it's different, but the story itself did not flow well. There was a lot of backtracking and I am not usually a hint user but I would find something WAY into the story and have to remember where I saw it before (I found something 45 minutes into the game that needed to be placed on the very first screen) so I was finding that I was using the hint after wandering around for a few minutes just because I had no IDEA where I had seen the place for the object and I didn't want to waste my time.
I love the "backwards" HO games where they give you items and you have to figure out where they go in the scene - that was fun. Though I agree with some other reviews that the HO screens were a bit fussy (not fuzzy) and sometimes it was hard to tell what exactly you were looking at so I ended up just picking up an object and clicking wherever a little gear showed up.
I enjoy that there is a map which allows you to leap from place to place but even that wasn't enough to clarify where some items needed to be used. All in all it was mildly better than average but not good enough for me to want to pay for it. A little more time wasting without enough payout.
I recommend this game!

Great graphics, simple story, clear HO games, love the jump map - I am a BIG fan of those, I hate wasting my time wandering back through 6 rooms just to wander back again - The games are a little easy to solve so if you like a huge challenge this isn't for you. I only wish it took a little longer - one more level would have made it perfect.
I recommend this game!

I can't add anything to the other positive reviews out there. The graphics, gameplay, and storyline keep it interesting. The only issue I have with this game (as well as others from this company) is that whenever you move your curser to the bottom of the screen to open your inventory it automatically brings up the pause/menu screen. It drives me crazy and has made me stop playing their games in the past. I have no idea why this happens - I am going to try to figure out how to submit the issue to the company directly - but that being said - as annoying as it is, I still loved this game.
I recommend this game!

I enjoy all different kinds of HO games but this one didn't really hold my attention. I just played it for the free hour and only kept playing because I knew it would be over soon. To be fair I am not a fan of HO games where you have to backtrack through the same rooms over and over and over again (like this game) - I like the game to move forward for the most part, it keeps it interesting.
I don't recommend this game.

I love Roads of Rome (all three of them) and while this isn't as difficult (it was pretty easy to get three stars on the first try for most levels) it was still a fun game. I understand some people's frustration at not being able to queue up tasks but it is part of the game and just requires a little more planning. I liked it enough that I am sad that I "beat" it so quickly.
I recommend this game!

I have tried several times to play this game and I just can't get into it. The story line is ok, graphics are fine. It's mostly running back and forth from house to house, not all that interesting. Not the worst game I have played but boring enough that I was compelled to come here and write this review.
I don't recommend this game.

I read several reviews before submitting my own so I won't repeat too much other than to say that I have been waiting for a new Time Management game for a long time - I love Diner Dash, etc. and this is truly one of the worst TM games ever. What a disappointment. Bad quality. Boring game. Do not bother playing and certainly don't buy it.
I don't recommend this game.

I was enjoying the game until I got stuck. I don't mind being stuck - I am relatively good at these games so getting stuck means I like the game all the better because it isn't too easy. My complaint - and I am surprised there aren't more of these - is that if you are stuck and you click "Help" it takes you to the general "how to play page" and then tells you to click the walkthrough. But when you click the walkthrough tab - it tells you that it is only available in the collector's edition. So I will not be purchasing and will not continue playing this game. This is the first game I have come across where they make it absolutely impossible to move forward if you are stuck. And it is insulting to tell you that you have to buy a more expensive version if you want help. FAIL.
PS I read about people complaining about the singing - I always turn the music off in these games - there are some horrible choices for music out there!
I don't recommend this game.
