I really used to love these games and I was SO excited to see this one, but the last few releases have been rather tedious and this one is no exception. It's beyond boring, just a lot of clicking back and forth from screen to screen (mostly aimlessly or performing really drawn out tasks) and nothing repopulates. It's like they took all of the pieces that people said were boring and got rid of the game play improvements and threw the game together. So definitely play the demo to see if it is worth it to you but don't just waste your money and buy it outright.
I don't mind trying a new style of a well-known game but this one was not fun - I couldn't even deal with getting through the free trial. Someone else's review said it best - this was more like work than fun.
Horrible game play and graphics. I couldn't even deal with getting through the free trial. Don't bother playing and definitely don't bother buying. Booooo!
This game was just ok across the board. The story line is the most interesting part of the game - fine but nothing new - Woman opens food establishment, Man is rich and owns competing food establishment so there is conflict, Man and Woman compete but realize they like each other, Woman randomly moves to 4 other food establishments throughout the game, The End.
I know time management games have some semblance of repetition within them but for some reason this one was just too easy and just felt monotonous. I was able to get full stars and the bonus on almost every level the first time through (there were three early on in the game where I didn't get the bonus the first time through and that was only because I forgot to pay attention to what the bonus was). The bonuses also repeated constantly and were not exciting all. There were maybe 5 they used over and over: take pictures of your guests/write a blog post, talk to the other woman or the man, find the ferret, serve a specific food item, or clean up the mess (this wasn't even one where it took some time to clean the mess so you had to time it out throughout the round - it was literally pick up these ten leaves or banana peels and I would pick them up before the first customer even ordered).
So basically it has the general structure of a time management food service game but it is uninspired, boring, and over pretty quickly. So...get it if you want, I suppose, but don't bother paying for the Collector's Edition.
The positives (for me) about this one: 1. Long gameplay - I love a game that gives me the most bang for the buck - but it isn't tedious and boring. It changes it up enough each level to keep it interesting and the replay to get a higher score on each level is just as fun 2. I like the non-linear map. You can head off in different offshoot games depending on which levels you finished before, makes it more interesting 3. The "next patient" button. I LOVE this. You can speed up the gameplay as you like by calling the next patient to come in. It's fabulous. 4. I am sure there are more but I can't think of specifics right now (I am too excited to get back to the game)
Negatives (for me) 1. No restart button for each level, either during game play or after you have finished a level. To restart a level you have to quit the level and go back to the map, select the level again and hit play. Same after a level if you have completed it but want to play again to get a higher score, you have to go back to the map, select, and play. It seems like a silly thing to forget/choose to leave off in a game like this that is made for levels to be replayed multiple times - not a deal breaker but an annoyance 2. No challenge completed indicator on the map for each level. There are challenges you can complete during each level which are separate from the stars that are shown. There is no indicator on the map that shows you witch levels have completed challenges so if you are trying to go back and complete everything you have to click on every single level to see if you have succeeded 3. The big negative. The storyline. We are mid-worldwide pandemic and they release a medical story line not only where there is an unknown disease affecting one of the patents (that is fine, if it was that alone I wouldn't have thought twice about it, we have seen that before) but the patient DIES OF THE DISEASE AND WE WATCH HIS WIDOW GRIEVING. How is death and grief of a spouse suddenly ok in a time-management game. It's gross. It's triggering for some people. It's completely insensitive.
So get this game. It's worth playing. But if watching someone succumb to a disease and their family grieving is triggering to you (as it was to me) then be warned and avoid.
It's like the quality of the game has gone back in time

I only played about 45 minutes of the demo so I will say that upfront. I was just...bored. It was pretty basic, rather slow. The graphics seemed "muddy." They added this part of the game where you just have to click on random things and it might give you a trophy but you never knew what types of items you were looking for so it was just random clicking on objects. I love these kinds of games and usually even if they are a bit boring I will buy them anyway or at least play through the whole demo but I just didn't feel the need with this one.
I love this series so much! (Well, 3 was a bit questionable but the rest are fantastic!)

I can't add much to what others have positively written about this game but I do love this series and wanted to give them their due with another 5 star review. I do like the upgraded options to get health/hearts and the upgraded ways to make/buy potions. I do miss the hint/reminder button - I got distracted once or twice and couldn't remember what quest I was on but it was easy enough to backtrack and figure it out. Definitely play the rest of the series but recognize that 3 was definitely not really great comparatively but still totally worth playing. 1 and 2 are fantastic. More like this please!!

I really like the idea that you go through the game following each of the three character's stories, that was great. But in general it was a moderately boring game that really didn't last very long. I don't have much more to add other than it was fine and not horrible but I just don't think I can recommend it when there are so many better games out there.
Take on the role of Emyr, probably the realm’s most famous hero. That is, until his career was destroyed by a dreadful wound. Now, Emyr works in the tavern.

This game wasn't bad but it wasn't great. Pretty basic time management game. Too easy to get three stars (or three beer mugs) for every level so not really challenging/exciting at all. I basically just kept playing it because I was bored anyway (which doesn't really speak highly of the game).
I love the Adelantado Trilogy! This game is sadly pretty basic...

So I love the Trilogy and I knew this was just going to be a pretty typical time management game so I was ready for that. And don't get me wrong, I usually love "typical" time management games. That being said it was REALLY basic. Once I got past the point that I loved the game 50% more just because of the recognizable characters, there was really nothing that made me want to buy it once my trial hour ran out. I was also super annoyed that you can't queue tasks - I find that tedious and it also just illustrates how few steps there are to take in each level - like they make it so you can't queue just so it stretches out the time of the game but it really emphasizes how much time you are just sitting and waiting for your helpers to finish their tasks and run back home just so you can click on the next thing. So I don't hate the game - it's not horrible - but it is really rare that I don't buy a time management game once I play the trial and I just don't feel the urge to buy this one.
