Good Parts:
By far, the best part of the game was the Hidden Object Scenes. They were fun, unique and challenging.
Storyline was good, could've been a little better but I liked.
Graphics were actually pretty good. They were clear and well designed.
Hint recharged fast.
OK Parts:
At times, the game realy, really needed a strategy guide. Sometimes it was really hard to figure out what to do.
The cutscenes were alright, but would've been much better had they not been in cartoon form.
Bad Parts:
The thing I hated most about this game were the puzzles. I skipped every single one. They were annoying and way too hard.
This is certainly a unique game. Download the free trial and see for yourself.
I recommend this game!

My hatred for this game is just unreal. There is nothing good or even OK about it. So the following are ALL bad.
- The first thing that hit me in the face were the awful graphics. Seriously! It looks like the developers just couldn't be bothered.
- The way the game is set out is awful. I thought it would be like burger rush, but it's not. You match 3 to turn on the burners and once you have enough you start cooking the pizza. AWFUL!
- The storyline is awful. The intro isn't even a proper intro. It's just "Oh, I'll open a Pizzeria today, yaayyyyyy!" Dear sir, I hope you go out of business.
- The game is way too hard, and just incredibly annoying. Not at all fun.
- Adding to all this, some customers want snacks, which require burners so you just waste more time.
Overall, I don't think you could find a game worse than this. I played only 4 minutes of the demo.
I don't recommend this game.

This game does start out very very fun, but repetitiveness brings down the rating.
Good Parts:
Very basic contols, simillar to those of Burger Shop
Pretty fun to start off with
Upgrading was fun
OK Parts:
Graphics could use a little work. They were cheap. Kind of like playing a game from 2009.
The game was a little too easy and needed a bit more 'spice' to make it harder.
Bad Parts:
Very, very repetitive. No variety at all.
Didn't like the minigames very much.
Storyline absolutely pathetic. comic-like, more aimed towards little kids #G rated# and no voice-overs.
This game is one where I'd be happy to play the free trial and go. My reccomendation is to download the free trial.
I recommend this game!

I'm so sorry not to give this a 5. It deserves it, but there are some things that annoyed me too much.
(based on Demo)
Good Parts:
Brilliant intro, setting the pace for an amazing storyline.
As usual, brilliant, realistic, well designed graphics. ERS have a brilliant team.
I never thought I'd say this in my life, but I absolutely LOVED the puzzles! They were so much fun and very challenging. Even if I didn't get it first go, I'd keep on playing till I got it becase I loved it so much. My favourite puzzle is the knight and the witch.
The gothic theme is presented so well in this game. I especially liked the "mystic energy"
Great voice-overs and cutscenes.
OK Parts:
I am a little tired of ERS's use of ghosts. This game did it well, but I don't think ghosts should be used in another game.
Bad Parts:
The hint takes way too long to recharge and is of no help whatsoever.
This should be listed under puzzle and not Hidden Object because there weren't any hidden object scenes in the game.
The main reason this game does not get a 5 is I had to use the strategy guide WAY too much. The main reasons were slow hint recharge ad getting stuck on what to do.
All in all, despite this, Gothic Fiction: Dark Saga is still a brilliant game. I guarentee it will amaze anyone who plays it.
I recommend this game!

I thought I'd write a more detailed review here:
Good Parts:
Excellent graphics. Loved how clear they were, the great designs and how modern they were.
Hint recharged very fast
I absolutely loved the storyline. It was gripping and had me on the edge of my seat.
I liked the Hidden Object Scenes. They were a bit challenging, but were fun. Included interactive objects.
Really liked the voice-overs
OK Parts:
Some puzzles were fun, but others were awful.
Bad Parts:
In certain parts, the game really does need a strategy guide. It was hard to figure out what to do.
The game will claim your data is corrupt and will delete it if your computer shuts off without warning a few times. This really annoyed me as I was over halfway through the game.
Overall, this was a good game. I hated both previous Grim Tales games, but this is a winner.
I recommend this game!

Good Parts:
I really liked the Hidden Object Scenes. They were easy and I only had to use the hint once. A real win for me.
The hint recharge was very, very fast.
The graphics were pretty good. Clear, great designs, very modern.
OK Parts:
The game kind of needed a strategy guide. For the most part, it was really hard to figure out what to do next.
Bad Parts:
Hint wasn't very useful. Instead of telling you where to go, it just told you what you had to do, and you had to find it youself.
Storyline wasn't very interesting. It's the same thing that's happening over and over again. Find your missing brother blah blah blah.
The puzzles were awful. They were just way too hard, boring, and just annoying!
Overall, Haunted Hotel: Charles Dexter Ward is a game that is not worth wasting the time, space or money for. I cannot and will not recommend this game.
I don't recommend this game.

The sequel to Grim Tales: The Bride, this game is lacking the interest that the first one did. It is nowhere near as good as the 3rd game, Grim Tales: The Wishes.
Good Parts:
Like all games from this developer, this game had excellent graphics.
The hint recharged pretty fast and was very useful.
Built-in strategy guide.
Storyline started off a little boring, then slowly got better. It was an alright storyline, but not meeting the standard that these developers have set.
OK Parts:
Hidden Object Scenes were alright, but a little too hard for my liking. Some objects were easy, but a lot of them were just too hard to find.
Bad Parts:
The puzzles were bad. I didn't like them one bit.
The game in general was boring. Nothing about it excited me, and I didn't want to buy it.
Not really enough of an intro, and it was a little confusing, with nothing about it really explaining the next events of the game.
Overall, the game just didn't cut it for me. TIme and time again, Elephant Games have produced hits, but this is not one of them.I played the demo and that was enough for me. Download the free trial and see what you think
I don't recommend this game.

Storyline gripped me. Have to know how it ends!
Good Parts:
Storyline is absolutely amazing. Demo ends right when the story is getting briliant. Lots of effort put in to the storyline, excellent voice-overs.
Graphics could use a little work, but they were still pretty good.
Loved the objectives and how all of them were vital to the storyline.
The hint was useful outside of the scenes. It was like a strategy guide, taking you through step by step how to complete an objective.
Hidden Object Scenes were good, but a little too challenging. The developers should work on this a little.
OK Parts:
There was a little going back and forth, but not enough to ruin the game.
Bad Parts:
Even on easy mode, the hint and skip took too long to recharge. This disappointed me, as I usually needed them for finding objects.
The puzzles are dead-set terrible. Boring, way too hard and just annoying!
A pretty basic, but simple game, Tales of Sorrow: Strawsbrough Town will certainly have you on the edge of your seat. Demo leaves you wanting more. Definitely recommend this game, I will eagerly await the sequel!!
I recommend this game!

I tried my luck again after the CE did not work with my computer. Fortunately it worked this time, and I loved it! :D
Good Parts:
Absolutely loved the Hidden Object Scenes. 3 types of scenes; junkpile (which included interactive objects), extra step (finding certain number of objects to complete something and needing something else not located in the scene) and insert the object (a scene is shown in which you must correctly place the missing object) all 3 were a blast and incredibly challenging.
Loved the storyline. Especially loved the idea of the witches' curses which you had to stop with a "magic powder" and the idea of the green gems. A staff is given to you at the beginning of the game which is missing 10 gems. You receive one gem afer removing a curse the witch has placed.
Brilliant graphics; very clear, lots of brilliant designs and very modern.
I had a blast with this game and ran down the demo in a flash!
Hint recharges very, very fast, and I liked how if you ween't n the area you needed to be, it would show a picture of the area you needed to be in.
OK Parts:
The puzzles. Some were great, but others were poor, and they were very repetetive.
Bad Parts;
The skip took a little too long to recharge for my liking.
That was the one bad thing I could find with the game. It's an absolute winner, buy it, no questions asked!!
I recommend this game!

A great storyline, could've had some voice-overs though.
Hint recharges fast.
Built-in Strategy guide
I absolutely LOVED the Hidden Object Scenes. They were very fun to play, a great challenge and included interactive objects.
Good clear graphics, with lots of great designs. Very realistic and modern.
OK Parts:
The majority of puzzles were good, but some annoyed me.
Bad Parts:
Most of the time it was hard to figure out what to do next.
The hint was a little confusing. Sometimes it would direct you with arrows on which way to go, other times it would just say "I should look elsewhere". This drove me mad, as I'd have to use the strategy guide and it would take me ages to find the right page!
Certainly a good game, most of you would like it. Download the free trial and see how you go.
I recommend this game!
