Despite not really enjoying previous AoA games, I really liked this one.
Good Parts: Favourite part of the game would have to be the Hidden Object Scenes. I really liked these, they were a great challenge and fun to play. At first I didn't really get the storyline, but after a while I really enjoyed it. Great graphics, they are very clear and well designed, almost realistic. The hint and skip buttons recharged very fast. Built in strategy guide was included, but I prefered to use the hint. I did like the use of an amulet in this game.
OK Parts: There was a bit of going back and forth in the game, but I didn't mind. At times I was stuck in the game.
Bad Parts: The puzzles are stupid. I didn't like them at all. They were too hard and a waste of time.
That was pretty much the one and only bad thing in this game. I thouroughly enjoyed it and recommend it to anyone!
I don't know why everyone hates this game, cause it's amazing! :D
Good Parts: Minigames were great. They were evolved to make the game easier. Graphics are much improved too. Storyline was great. The dishes actually had a theme to them. (e.g. vegetables, sugar# which made the game much more interesting. Had the option of replaying the step even if you passed to make sure you got perfect. This time the timer was a clock, not an oven timer. This showed you exactly how much time you had left and was much easier to read.
OK Parts: The mixing is a little more complicated than before.
Bad Parts: I absolutely HATED the refridgerating game. It ws much too hard, and time-consuming and just annoyed the heck out of me. In general, the game is a lot more slow than the other two. A lot more time is taken when giving you the next ingredient #e.g. 2 apples, 2 garlic) and it was taking away from my time bonus.
Overall I did thoroughly enjoy this game and ran down the demo very quickly. A must-buy.
Absolutely great. Overall rating 4.5 stars (based on demo in Casual mode)
Good Parts: As usual, amazing graphics. Lots of detail, very realistic and extremely well done. Very clear. Brilliant intro. Opening was more like watching a movie. Also surrounded by an amazing storyline with many twists and turns. A very unique twist on the classic Red Riding Hood Fable. Once again loved the Hidden Object Scenes. Very unique and a lovely feature of the game. The hint and skip buttons recharged fast. Great voice-overs.
OK Parts: The puzzles. I didn't like the majority of them, but the sequence puzzle was by far my favourite. A bit of going back and forth.
Bad Parts: Need to buy the full version to access the Strategy Guide.
That was about the only thing bad I could find about this game. Strongly considering buying it, although I am going to wait for the standard edition.
After taking a break from online gaming, I stumbled upon this game, and it was a real confusing one!
Good Parts: Thrilling intro! Absolutely loved it, and supported by a decent storyline. The hidden object scenes (junkpile) were good. Pretty decent graphics for a modern game. Could use a little work though, but overall still acceptable. Great voice-overs. The film reels were an excellent adition to the game, uncovering more of Alan Whitehead's story. Hint recharged pretty fast.
OK Parts: The puzzles. Some were a great challenge and real fun, others were a pain. The fun factor of the game was marred by complete confusion.
Bad Parts: The "association" Hidden Object Scenes were utterly ridiculous and just a complete waste of time. The strategy guide was useless unless you used it right from the beginning. The game was confusing! I had no idea what to do next and most of the time the hint wouldn't help either. I tried to use the strategy guide but couldn't. So annoying.
I was just confused beyond my mind throughout this game. Sorry to say, I can't recommend.
Good Parts: Voice-overs were actually pretty good.
OK Parts: Graphically, the game needed a bit of work. They were fuzzy and old. The sound needs a bit of work too. Like someone else mentioned, the walking sounds like wood and the sounds are annoying all-round.
Bad Parts: The tutorial annoyed me. You would click on something, but it wouldn't do it and it would tell you what to do, then you had to click it again. There was absolutely no hint of any sort in the game, so when you got stuck, you were well and truly STUCK. Because there were no hints, you would expect there would be a strategy guide, but no, the developers had to annoy us a little more. The storyline is very poorly presented. The intro is weird, just people moving and no voices and from then on the story is very hard to follow.
I didn't play the original Syberia, nor do I plan to after playing this game. It's a disgrace.
I don't recommend this game.

Mystic Legacy: The Great Ring
Uncover the dark legacy hidden within a Romanian castle to save your friend from an evil spirit!
Good Parts: Storyline was good, but really needed voice-overs. Hint recharged very fast I really liked the Hidden Object Scenes. They were a great combination of being challenging yet fun. Tutorial is great I really liked the graphics. Very clear and modern. Some designs could use a bit of work though. I liked how the game ues your name in the story.
OK Parts: The puzzles. Some were great, yet some were annoying. There was a fair bit of going back and forth. Not enough to annoy me, but a little too much for my liking.
Bad Parts: What really, really annoyed me is how stupid this guy Mark was. He gets locked in a cage, gets freed and doesn't exit the castle. Instead he runs to the throne room to take a ring off a sleeping guy and gets kidnapped again! Sorry, I won't be helping you again buddy. The demo must be really really short. I had to start again because I mucked up (almost near the end of the demo) and was able to play through till the end of the demo with 8 minutes still remaining on the trial.
The game is certainly different, a great buy for those of us who love Hidden Object Games. Some may not like it because it's different, so download the free trial and see for yourself.
I was actually a little disappointed with this game, especially after playing (and loving) Hallowed Legends: Templar.
Good Parts: As always, the graphics are absolutely excellent. Very clear, very detailed, and great designs. Hint and skip recharge very fast. Loved the achievements. They added extra fun to the game Loved the Hidden Object Scenes. They were great fun and a nice challenge. Tutorial included.
OK Parts: For a great company such as this, the storyline was actually pretty average. Intro is dull and boring and no voice-overs were included. The game is dull to start off with, then gets slightly better.
Bad Parts: I actually didn't like the puzzles. They were hard and annoying. The game needs a strategy guide. At times it's really hard to figure out what to do next. If you enter a room, use and hint and it tells you to go back, (unlike every other game) your hint will be used up. The game isn't really interesting. Certainly not up to the standard of the Surface and Mytsery Trackers series.
For such a brillian company, we are left with a pretty boring game. I'm sorry to say I don't recommend it.
Bad Parts: Graphics are awful, So glad they were fixed up by the third game. The game is too hard. The objects are all junkpiles and were not very clear. Used all my hints on the first level. Limited hints. Needed unlimited cause the game was so stupid. The game is a complete and utter bore.
Completely and utterly dreadful. No other way to describe it! Stay away from this game!
I don't recommend this game.

Gotcha: Celebrity Secrets
You are Gaby, an amateur celebrity blogger, desperate to ditch her dead-end job for the exciting world of celebrity gossip.
Good Pars: Brilliant storyline. Classic "Rookie beats Pro" setting. Medals were awesome. I loved the minigames at the end of each level. The characters were cleverly hidden/ A great challenge and still great fun. Good graphics, very clear. The game was super fun! As well as having to find the informers you also had to find 2 other characters in each scene. (usually Gaby and important character for that chapter) OK Parts: Just a bit more variety would've been nice.
Bad Parts: Game is far too short. I was on Chapter 2, Post 7 and still had 11 minutes left of the demo.
100% recommend this game! I ansolutely LOVED it!
I recommend this game!

Love & Death ™: Bitten ™
Help Damon and Victoria defeat an evil vampire queen as they fall deeply in love with one another! Can love overcome death?
Good Parts: Great storyline, great voice-oers. The theme is presented very well in this game and unlike most vampire games, is not a dark and dreary game. Hint recharged fast Very obvious what to do next. Hidden Object Scenes were good. A good challenge. Pretty good graphics. Clear, modern, well designed and enjoyable. Loved being able to alternate between Damon and Victoria.
OK Parts: Some parts of the game were in need of a strategy guide. Did have to refer to the walkthrough once or twice as I got stuck at certain points in the game. The puzzles. Some, like the rooftop puzzle were great, but others were annoying.
Bad Parts: A lot of going back and forth. Some things in the game were a little more complicated than they should have been. One other comment I should make (but it doesn't rally concern the gameplay) is that the demo wasn't really a demo, more like an hour of play. There should've been a demo which cut out as the story gets good, would've made it much more exciting.
This game will be thoroughly enjoyed by anyone. Great for all ages, highly recommended.
