I fell in love with Digimight Solitaire games when Snow White Solitaire: Charmed Kingdom, was first released. Since then I have purchased every solitaire game they offer, including this game, Endless Soul Light Solitaire. The feature I loved the most was the Morphing Bonuses that would appear and disappear randomly on some of the cards, but the last few games by Digimight have not included this unique feature for some reason??
What I've noticed lately is that I'm only able to peck off one or two cards at a time, and that's after flipping over 5-10 unplayable cards to finally get a useful card! Even if you are fortunate enough to make a combo of 6 cards, you'll certainly never be able to make a massively large combo, particularly after the demo portion when the levels get harder and you're forced to replay the levels over and over just to earn a single star much less all 3. For me, this is annoying and not very much fun, I don't mind replaying levels until I earn all 3-stars, but I want to be able to remove more cards, at least every once in a while...removing one card at a time, time after time, play after play, just becomes monotonous, disappointing, worthless, and extremely dissatisfying at the level's end.
My point here is that everyone loves to be able to make a massive combo, at least occasionally, and it's not very fun to only be able to remove one or two cards at a time from the board when you finally do get a playable card! I've literally finished some of these levels in less than a minute and still had 6 or 7 cards remaining on the field because I couldn't get a playable card after selecting 10 or more new deck cards in a row, without getting a single useful card!
One of my favorite solitaire games is Magic Cards Solitaire because they found a way to allow the player to consistently make massive combos while keeping the levels challenging. It was challenging because you never knew how many cards were hidden underneath what appeared to be a single card stacked on the board. This single card would actually have 30 or 40 cards hidden under it while other piles only had a few cards under them so you never knew which piles to go after! That game (& others by that dev) was incredibly challenging, but unlike this game, it is fun to play because you are always removing a ton of cards with every deck card you reveal!...solitaire games can be challenging in ways other than simply giving the player a skimpy number of deck cards, to me that's a "win by luck of the draw" versus winning by using strategy! I still love this developer ও and I'd love to help them create a better solitaire game!
You can choose from 3 Card Graphic Styles and 2 Font Styles (a large font & a themed font) The card graphics are uninteresting and they don't have a border edge so when they are stacked on the deck, it looks like a huge white border clump rather than being able to see that they are individual cards. There are 11 Trophy Achievements, 6 Extra Stories, 5 Wallpapers, 10 mini-games, and 200 Solitaire Levels.
This is a Higher/Lower Solitaire Game and the goal is to earn all 3 Stars (levels can be replayed) You will earn 3-stars if all cards are removed, 2-stars if 2 cards remain, and 1-star if 3 cards remain. Combos start at 6 cards to increase the Index Multiplier Bar, and each level gives you 1 Undo.
As you progress, you will earn Jokers that can be used as a Wildcard. A single click will add them to the pocket for later use, but the slot only allows for 4 cards so once full, the cards on the board will be played when clicked upon. Jokers can also be purchased in the Shop with the coins you earn, you can also purchase extra Character Boosters that recharge as you play.
-Slyme Booster changes the deck card into a useful card.
-Bark Booster removes any selected active card.
-Rumi Booster shuffles the entire board.
-Lumius Booster removes two random cards.

Obstacles Cards are added to the mix after a couple of levels such as Cards that are smudged and require playing twice (replicates) or cards that are blocked until you remove the Blue Orb card. Normally, this developer adds morphing bonuses to the cards that give you extra cards, flips over face-down cards x2, or adds coins when the card is played. This feature is one of my favorite features in a solitaire game, it was a unique feature and the reason I fell in love with solitaire games by this developer. It was a feature no other developer thought of so why wouldn't you include this unique feature to show off your creative skills?

Won't you join me at my new forum to talk about this game and so much more @ thewoodsforum.boards.net
I don't recommend this game.

Only those lost in life can find the Crossroads Bar and you, my friend, have stumbled upon this bar in the dead of night at one of the lowest points in your life! This is your chance at redemption, trust Mistress Eve, take a long hard look in the mirror, and let destiny determine your fate at The Crossroads Bar!
REDEMPTION:
I've said this a hundred times, Elephant Games used to be my favorite developer. No one could create an atmosphere better than this developer...until they didn't. Lately, it seems like they just don't care and that was definitely reflected in their games. They have no challenge, the storylines are lame, and with every release, they took away features we loved, such as Morphing Objects. Today my faith has been renewed, I've waited a long time and I nearly gave up on this developer...now they have returned and I hope others write a review to tell them that THIS is what we love so they will feel compelled to keep rolling up their sleeves!
WHILE WE'RE ON THE SUBJECT, LET'S DO A "360":
I couldn't help notice that this game was very similar to another beloved game with "subjects" I started noticing that as I progressed, everything about this game was different, it didn't have the usual Elephant Games M.O. It has a different vibe, different game mechanics, it even has different fonts. The usual emblem placing scenario E-games is famous for is MIA, the tasks were different and I think most would have a hard time recognizing this as an Elephant Game if it didn't say who made it. I couldn't help wondering if these two developers may have merged or perhaps a team member or two traded in their mad swirl logo for a pachyderm logo?
GADGETS/HELPER:
There are no gadgets or helpers, however, the game is loaded with unique features to choose from throughout your adventure of destiny.
CONVERSATION CHOICES:
As you come to Crossroads during the game you will be tasked with making multiple-choice decisions of morality. The option you choose will directly affect your relationship with other characters who have similar personality traits.
CHARACTER STATUS:
Each character has a personality profile that outlines their traits, as well as relationships with the other characters. For example, Christopher Murphy, the main character in the 1st chapter has a 9/10 Intelligence score, 7/10 Bravery, 3/10 for Kindness, 0/10 Honesty, 0/10 Compassion, 5/10 Judgemental.
REDEMPTION:
There are 3 different stories that are related to Comic Books which is Christopher's passion, however, the graphics are not a cartoonish comic book style, they are actually quite amazing as Elephant Games usually shines in this department! The first Comic Book story is stationary but the following two book chapters can be played in any order, "Night of Whispers" or "In The Shadows". After completing the game you can go back and replay the chapters to make different choices for a better score at Redemption!
COLLECTIBLES & MORPHS (CE Bonus Chapter only)
There are 12 Comic Book Strips that are blended into the scenery very well for the first time in forever...AND each scene has a Crossroads Puzzle Piece that I thought was an amazing addition! They are a perfect size, not too big, not too small, AND they are not located in the usual Zoom Zones that are impossible to miss because the window doesn't close until you click on them...THANK YOU Elephant Games I loved the added challenge!!!
HIDDEN OBJECT SCENES:
There are only 12 Hidden Object Scenes +5 in the CE Bonus Chapter with several smaller Zoom Zone HO's throughout the game. Clearly, they went to great lengths to revamp their gaming image because I enjoyed the HO's for a change! There are the standard Interactive List Finds, Keywords in Sentence Finds, and Silhouetted Shape Finds. Normally, this developer doesn't create the most interesting scenes but now that they have hit a crossroads, they have upped their game and finally created interesting scenarios such as finding items in Ferris Wheel carts or searching through pictures and notes on a corkboard.
MINI-GAMES:
There are 11 Mini-Games +6 in the CE Bonus Chapter. Elephant Games rarely disappoint me when it comes to their mini-games because they usually have several mechanical-type puzzles which require some tinkering & thinkering to solve. I loved the puzzle where you had to transfer power between 2 towers until the tower in the lights on the middle tower were to the red line. There are still plenty of non-mechanical puzzles for those who like recreating images by swapping tiles etc. and I found that all puzzles were doable without having to skip any of them!
BONUS CHAPTER: (Collector's Edition version only)
The Comic Book World is in Dire Straits after Mistress Eve's quill is stolen. Everyone is at a crossroads, the problem is the crossroads are intertwined and chaos ensues rapidly. Balance must be restored or collapse with chaos! This is an average-length Bonus Chapter spanning over 8 additional scenes with 5 Hidden Object Scenes and 6 Mini-Games. You will continue your search for the final 8 Collectible Crossroads Puzzle Pieces and 4 Comic Book Strips. After completing the Bonus Chapter, you'll gain entry to the Secret Room to complete the Jigsaw Puzzle, the Expedition Room where you can search for any missed collectibles, and the Archives where you can replay 13 Hidden Object Scenes, and 13 Mini-Games.
COLLECTOR'S EDITION EXTRA'S:
6 Wallpaper, 1 Screensaver Jigsaw, 4 Music Soundtracks, 12 Achievements (2 achievements have 3 categories and 2 achievements have 9 categories), 12 Collectible Comic Strips, 24 Crossroads Symbols (receive a jigsaw puzzle piece for each one found) a Secret Room to complete the Jigsaw Puzzle, the Expedition Room where you can search for any missed collectibles, and the Archives where you can replay 13 Hidden Object Scenes, and 13 Mini-Games, 4 Main Chapters +Bonus Chapter, and a Built-In Strategy Guide.

"Domini Games brings you a new sensational series"... Scorned Spirits, Eternal Winters, Magical Creatures, Bestiary Books, an old lady mentor, Healer in training...does any of this sound familiar? Does this sound like a brand new "sensational" series game? Do you have Deja Vu like I do? Are we being duped...again?
Gadgets/Helper:
Domini always includes a Gadget of some sort, and this new series just so happens to have the same exact Bestiary Book feature as Spirit Legends, what a coincidence!??? The Bestiary Book is used 5 times in the Main Chapters only (No Bestiary Book used in the CE Bonus Chapter) When the Bestiary Book starts to shake, rattle, and wiggle-jiggle, that's your cue to don your superhero Cape & Mask and put your Healer Skills to the test! (hmmm, wasn't I a Healer in Spirit Legends too??) This is no time to panic Healer, just grab the book from the left side of the inventory bar and throw it at that hideous beast...okay, I'm exaggerating a bit...it's more like a gentle lob? Before the beastly Beast is destroyed, you'll play a quick mini-game, that varies with each beast, and voila! the dastardly beast turns into a docile pet... awe, that's so adorable that the Beasts love puzzles too :)
There are no coincidences here, Domini has been trying to boost their plummeting ratings lately by slapping a shiny new series label on every new release. Clearly, they didn't wake up one morning and announce to their team that they were going to create 9 new game series this month! Anyone who has played Domini Games over the years can surely recognize the familiar themes here and realize that one new series is exactly like the old "Fatal Evidence" series, the next one is exactly like "Dark Romance" or "Enchanted Kingdom"? Every feature, including the theme of "Spirit Chronicles" is 100% the same as the old series "Spirit Legends" it's practically the same title Spirit Chronicles versus Spirit Legends! All Domini is doing is grabbing finished games from series that were tanking, and putting a new title on it because everyone knows that a new series gets more attention (and better ratings) just because it's shiny-brand new!
Clearly, they are aware that there is a problem, clearly, they know the ratings are tanking but instead of addressing the root problem, they are choosing to play a Cup & Shell game to trick us. I used to think that they couldn't figure out why their fans were turning against them, but clearly, they just don't care if they are willing to use deceptive practices. They want to make money without putting forth any effort, they have a format and they aren't willing to stray from this format so they continue to copy/paste formats from one game to the next, all of which are geared towards Beginner players even though 90% of their audience has been playing Domini Games for 10 to 20 years!
Audio/Visuals:
I can never really find fault with the audio or graphics in a Domini game, the graphics are really good but they do tend to be overzealous with the color palette. Lately, this is the only aspect of their games that really shines with superior quality, the stories are unimaginative and the tasks are so repetitive that surely even a beginner would take notice? Domini is also known for adding items that can be interacted with but as you'll soon discover, these interactions become a rarety after the demo portion!
Collectibles/Morphing Objects (CE version only)
Once again, there are a gazillion Missing Notes to discover which is the most worthless and uninteresting feature of all time. There are 15 Morphing Amulets and 15 Spell Books, and 70 Zoom Zone Energy Sphere Coins used to purchase 15 Barn Animals that are clustered in the center of the page...they couldn't even bother to place them thoughtfully around an actual barn or place them in stalls or paddocks?? There is an optional Collection Icon Tab that can be enabled or disabled in the settings menu which will light up when there is a collectible in the current scene. You can also choose to show/hide the availability of collectibles on the Map.
Hidden Object Scenes:
There are 12 Hidden Object Scenes +4 in the CE Bonus Chapter. The Hidden Object Scenes range from simplistic Listed Item Finds to variations such as Silhouetted Shape Finds, Symbol Findsm, Multiples of the Same Item, Matching Pairs or Pairs of Related Objects, Keywords in Sentence Finds, or Replacing Items into the Scene, I did enjoy the scene where you had to pick the correct dog after reading a brief description about its habits, appearance, or breed traits.
Alternate Match 3 Game:
There is an alternate Match 3 Game available if you don't want to play a Hidden Object Scene, which still doesn't allow you to make consecutive matches quickly because you have to wait for all tiles to stop falling before you can make the next match which makes the game super boring. The M3 boards are always square and they never add obstacles or new features to make it progress in difficulty. FYI: one of the achievements requires you to play the alternate Match 3 game in place of the HOS. (just once)
Mini-Games:
There are 25 Mini-Games +8 in the CE Bonus Chapter. You can choose to play them in an Easy or Hard difficulty mode and you can choose which mode to have them start out in the Custom Setting (you can still switch between modes for each individual game) Here are brief descriptions of the games I found to be more entertaining:
1-Jump pegs until only one peg remains.
2-Select 2 partial symbols to recreate the symbols shown.
3-Click on glass pieces with hinges to align correctly.
4-Rotate gems with pipes to recreate the pattern shown.
5-Place kitchen utensils on a grid without overlapping.
Bonus Chapter (CE Version Only)
Milena is causing havoc when she tries to steal powers from the Spirit of Fire just one month after the last incident! There are 8 additional Mini-Games and 4 Hidden Object Scenes with 7 additional scene locations..You will continue searching for the final gazillion notes, 3 Morphing Amulets, 3 Spell Books, and 6 Zoom Zone Energy Orb Coins which allows you to purchase the final Barn Animals.
Collector's Edition Extra's: (CE version only)
15 Wallpapers, 15 Concept Art Pictures, 5 Music Soundtracks, 27 Movie Video Cutscenes, 35 Achievements, 18 Replayable Mini-Games, 18 Replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 15 Morphing Amulets, 15 Spell Books, a gazillion Missing Notes, 70 Zoom-Zone Energy Orb Coins, 15 Barn Animals (purchase using coins) 4 Main Chapters, +Bonus Chapter, and a Built-In Strategy Guide.

I usually complete HOPA games in one or two sittings and I always finish what I start...until today! I've played a ton of games over the years and it's no secret that I'm not a fan of Domini's cookie-cutter tasks but I can honestly say that none have had a storyline this mundane. I played 3 out of the 5 Chapters and I literally had to force myself to keep playing. I found myself constantly referring to the Strategy Guide...not because I couldn't figure something out but because I wanted to figure out how much game was left to endure!
Gadgets/Helper:
There may not be any Gadgets or Helpers in this brand new series, but I'm beginning to wonder if Domini should actually add a cutsie helper of some sort in an effort to make their games more interesting. They keep mass-producing new game series but basically, they all have identical MO's...playing a detective working for a gimmicky agency.
Clearly, they are at a loss as to why their games have received such poor ratings over the last couple of years. They just can't seem to figure out that their targeted audience has graduated from Beginner status. With only one developer creating HOPA games every week, we've become hyper-focused with the oh-so-familiar ins & outs of a Domini game. It is quite literally impossible NOT to notice the repetitiveness of the lame cliche tasks and linear cookie-cutter mechanics!
Domini used to develop games that were amazing because they created a better product when they didn't have to mass-produce bi-weekly games. One by one, HOPA Developers began throwing in the towel while Domini dug their heels in and stood their ground to become the last man standing...and eventually will be the only one left to drag Felix (Big Fish Games) across the finish line!
It wouldn't be so bad if they just slipped this feature into a single series versus every single game they create! Every game Domini makes has the same collectibles & morphs in the same amounts...only the names have been changed to deceive the innocent!
There are 15 Morphing Statuettes and 15 Detective's Stuff Clickables. I say "clickables" versus collectibles because they are NEVER hidden and never challenging to find! There are the same infamous Zoom Zone Coins (78 Chess Piece Coins) that are used to purchase 15 boring items cluttered in the middle of the "Gallery" There is an optional Collection Icon Tab that can be enabled or disabled in the settings menu which will light up when there is a collectible in the current scene. You can also choose to show/hide the availability of collectibles on the Map.
Hidden Object Scenes:
There are 10 Hidden Object Scenes +5 in the CE Bonus Chapter. The Hidden Object Scenes range from simplistic Listed Item Finds to variations such as Swatch Finds, and Silhouetted Shape Finds. They had an HO scene that required placing cut-out shapes correctly on 4 different portraits. I actually enjoyed the one where you had to find specific patterns within 5 fingerprints, followed by finding silhouettes of DNA molecules and finally looking at the computer to find symbols and various number sequences. This particular HO was engaging because it felt like it had a purpose versus clicking on a bunch of random objects sitting on a shelf.
(just once)
Mini-Games:
There are 14 Mini-Games +8 in the CE Bonus Chapter. You can choose to play them in an Easy or Hard difficulty mode and you can choose which mode to have them start out in the Custom Setting (you can still switch between modes for each individual game) There wasn't really anything new, click on directional arrows to navigate, rotate picture frags to complete an image, place foam lines of various configurations to cover each fire.
Bonus Chapter (CE Version Only)
I just couldn't finish this game it was so incredibly boring so I cannot comment about the Bonus Chapter's plot, however, there are 6 additional Mini-Games and 4 Hidden Object Scenes. You will continue searching for the final gazillion notes, 2 Morphing Statuettes, 3 Detective's Stuff, and 10 Chess Piece Coins of varying amounts to finish decorating the boring Gallery with random shelves and easels...yeah :(
Collector's Edition Extra's: (CE version only)
10 Wallpapers, 15 Concept Art Pictures, 5 Music Soundtracks, 24 Movie Video Cutscenes, 38 Achievements, 17 Replayable Mini-Games, 18 Replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 15 Morphing Statuettes, 15 Detective's Stuff, a gazillion Missing Notes, 78 Zoom-Zone Chess Piece Coins, 15 Gallery Items (purchase with chess pieces cuz that totally makes sense??) 5 repetitive Main Chapters, +Bonus Chapter, and a Built-In Strategy Guide.

Difficulty Range: Definitely Beginner
A distraught and obviously wealthy elderly woman shows up at Sharlotte Holmes's office pleading with the now-infamous sleuth to help her solve a mystery. Jewelry has gone missing at the McKirk estate, without a single trace, at least without any human trace, because Mrs. Mallory McKirk believes the heist was committed by an otherworldly ghost!
If only this game had a bit more challenge, if only it were a bit less linear, if only the gameplay was as good as the detective story...sigh..but "if only's" are just dreams that will never come true I suppose? How many emblems must I place just to get from one room to the next? How did the butler, servants, and owner move freely about the house if all the emblems were missing before I got there? Finding a million emblems to fix broken things in a house isn't Detective work, it's handyman work so wouldn't it make more sense to have us search for clues with tasks befitting of a Sherlock/Sharlotte Holmes game???
GADGETS/HELPER:
Sharlotte Holmes has friends in high places but there is no Dr. Watson helper in this series, nor were any animal helpers harmed in the making of this game.
COLLECTIBLES & MORPHS (CE Bonus Chapter only)
There are 12 Sharlotte Holmes items to find as well as 23 Zoom Zone Jigsaw Puzzle Fragments that create a single picture. The weird part is that they show 2 images in the extra's section but the first one has already been completed before you start the game??
HIDDEN OBJECT SCENES:
There are only 9 Hidden Object Scenes +4 in the CE Bonus Chapter, however, there are several smaller Zoom Zone HO's throughout the game. The objects aren't blended very well which makes it super easy to earn the HO achievements because all you have to do is click on the larger, clearer objects sitting in a pile without reading the list. If you just click on the objects without thinking or reading, I guarantee you will find 99% of the objects on the first guess! Although most of the main HOs are Interactive List Finds, I did enjoy the Matching Item Finds, and Keywords in Sentence Finds, one of which was very creative where you had to find a matching item by looking for its reflection on a vanity with 3 mirrors.
MINI-GAMES:
There are 15 Mini-Games +5 in the CE Bonus Chapter. Elephant Games rarely disappoint me when it comes to their mini-games because they usually have several mechanical-type puzzles which require some tinkering & thinkering to solve. I particularly enjoyed the game where you had to swap tokens along various lines between 3 sections with different patterns. There are several lengthy puzzles that aren't necessarily difficult but will require patience, such as sliding numbered squares into sequential order by using the empty square slot.
BONUS CHAPTER: (Collector's Edition version only)
Sharlotte Holmes is on the case investigating criminal activity at the Tower Bridge Guest House. There are 5 additional Mini-Games and 4 Hidden Object Scenes and you'll continue your search for the final 3 Detective Items and 6 Zoom Zone Puzzle Fragments. After completing the Bonus Chapter, you'll gain entry to the Archives and Expedition Rooms.
COLLECTOR'S EDITION EXTRA'S:
7 Wallpaper, 2 Jigsaw Fragment Puzzle Picture 4 Music Soundtracks, 20 Achievements, 12 Collectible Detective Items, 23 Zoom Zone Jigsaw Puzzle Fragments, an Expedition Room (return to scenes to search for missed Collectibles & Jigsaw Puzzle Fragments) an Archives Room (replay 13 Hidden Object Scenes and 13 Mini-games) 5 Main Chapters +Bonus Chapter, and a Built-In Strategy Guide.

Dear Developer:
After much consideration, I've decided to give up on you. Although I was blown away by Crossroads, I'm confused by the lack of dedication you are putting forth consistently. This game is riddled with mistakes, freezing issues, and non-sensical timeline plots. You were once my favorite developer, but I've come to the conclusion that you are simply developing bare minimum quality games because you have to fulfill a contract and not because you care about the fans who put you on the map in the first place. Fans like myself who loved your games and thought they blew everyone else out of the park, fans like me who stuck by your side for longer than I should have when I saw the decline. We are actually pretty darn smart and quite capable of doing more than placing a zillion emblems. We are smart enough to see the decline of quality and can recognize when someone doesn't care about their product. I'm sorry it has come to this, it's not me, it's you! Prove me wrong, please!
GADGETS/HELPER:
There are no permanent gadgets (Agent Brown always has a new gadget) but you will play as all 3 characters, Agent Dorian Brown from Mystery Trackers, James Blackthorn from Haunted Hotel, and Anna Grey from Grim Tales...the one who always loses her kid lol.
COLLECTIBLES & MORPHS (CE Bonus Chapter only)
There are 12 Morphing Watch or Time Pieces, some of which have the wrong descriptions? There are 20 Puzzle Fragments as well that allow you to download 4 different Scenes when completed. All of the collectibles are located within zoom zones that don't close until you select them so they are hard to miss!
HIDDEN OBJECT SCENES:
There are 9 Hidden Object Scenes +5 in the CE Bonus Chapter, and 6 Zoom Zone HO's throughout the game. At first, I thought the HOs were pretty lame but as I progressed I began to notice that some of the objects were well-blended...but then again, some had weird descriptions such as a smilie face called a Badge! Although most of the main HOs are simple List Finds or Silhouetted Shape Finds, they mixed up the styles such as finding objects on Stained Glass, or removing Pairs of Symbols, etc.
MINI-GAMES:
There are 15 Mini-Games +8 in the CE Bonus Chapter. Usually, I enjoy Elephant Games puzzles but most of these were super simplistic. The worse part is that starting with the Coin & Cups game the instructions were mixed up, for example, the cups game had directions for the following navigation puzzle, and that navigation puzzle would have directions for the cups puzzle. When you get to the final puzzle of the third and last chapter, there are NO INSTRUCTIONS (just place the monster heads correctly and then repeat the sequence x3)...how do mistakes like this happen Benjamin? Anyway, the puzzles were easily solved on the first attempt, a ton of tile swap puzzles, swap numbers to add up to 15 horizontally, diagonally, and vertically, matching animals to pawprints, balance scales, or repeat the sequence. I did enjoy some of the Triangle swap puzzles!
BONUS CHAPTER: (Collector's Edition version only)
I forgot what I was doing, actually, after watching a news brief on a television screen, there's an awkward silent pause and then Anna explains they forgot everything...I haven't forgotten how confused I was by this explanation? Basically, it's the same situation as the main chapter only with a cursed Harp. There are 8 additional Mini-Games and 5 Hidden Object Scenes that take place over 5 additional locations. You'll continue your search for the final 4 Morphing Watch Timepieces and 5 Zoom Zone Puzzle Fragments that allow you to set the final screensaver. After completing the Bonus Chapter, you'll gain entry to the Archives and Expedition Rooms.
COLLECTOR'S EDITION EXTRA'S:
10 Wallpaper, 4 Jigsaw Fragment Puzzle Pictures, 4 Music Soundtracks, 22 Achievements, 13 Replayable Mini-Games, 13 Replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 12 Morphing Watch Timepieces with mixed up descriptions, 20 Zoom Zone Jigsaw Puzzle Fragments, an Expedition Room (return to scenes to search for missed Collectibles & Jigsaw Puzzle Fragments) a Secret Room (Timed HO with trophies) 3 Main Chapters +Bonus Chapter, and a Built-In Strategy Guide.

I was actually more impressed with this 13th game in the series because the objects were blended into the scenery better and some of the objects were truly challenging to spot. Then I replayed the scenes in the other modes and discovered that the Spot The Difference modes had a flaw or perhaps wasn't compatible with my larger screen. I couldn't find the last few objects because the screen was cut off on the right side and the Hint kept pointing to an area of the screen which showed up as a black bar on my screen, in other words, the two comparison scenes that are side by side were not identical because an entire section on the far right side was missing.

I do see an effort by this developer to make improvements to each game, but I'd like to see some added features as well, maybe some Morphing Objects, Coins to find which allows you to purchase souvenirs or a new puzzle to buy? They did add a couple of new HO variants a few games back, such as Mirror Reflections where the words are mirrored as well as the screen (as it would be reading the word "ambulance" in a rearview mirror), and the Spot the Difference variant.
One of the biggest reasons I don't feel the need to purchase new games in this series lately is because the items never change position when you replay the levels. Replaying levels is a requirement in this game in order to earn the necessary stars which unlock the next level in order to progress, therefore, it becomes monotonous and boring pretty quickly. Sometimes they throw in a few new objects to the mix of the repeated scenes, but all of the objects remain exactly where they were located in the previous scene, in the same exact position!
You can choose from 3 different difficulty modes, a Relaxed Untimed Mode, a 10-Minute Timed Mode, or a 3-Minute Timed Mode. You will earn a single star on each HO location and the next location requires 1-3 stars to unlock it which means you'll have to replay the scene in a different HO mode. The Hidden Object Modes change each time you replay a scene, between Listed Item, Silhouetted Shapes, Scrambled Letter Modes, and the two newer variants, Mirror Reflection and Spot the Differences. Because the objects themselves never move, you can basically guess at the objects by the time you roll around to the silhouetted shapes, and scrambled letters and get 99% of them right!
Each scene has a Lazy Turtle to discover (once you find him he won't appear in the other HO modes) to earn 500 extra points, but there's nothing to purchase with these extra points so what's the point? There are trivia facts before visiting each location as well, but I STILL think the developers need to use their Lazy Turtle Logo versus the cheap plastic turtle because this developer's Lazy Turtle Logo is one of the coolest logos I've ever seen. He's an adorable "lazy" turtle wearing a sombrero and leaning up against a palm tree. If they used a semi-transparent image of this logo and hid it in each scene it would be much more challenging to spot and much more fun.

I fell in love with Marble Poppers years ago and was truly delighted when I saw today's game. I must admit I was confused by several aspects of the game mechanics and I was at a total loss as to whom Brave Giant was targeting with the Cartoon Characters and Rescue Pet features that seem to be geared toward young children? I'm confused about the narrative of the game, I'm a pet Dog and Cat rescuer who plays a Marble Popper about Butterflies & Caterpillars to earn stars to fix my House so the animals can live in the yard or a doghouse? I had to chuckle when one of the levels required me to hit several crows with marbles...some animal rescuer I am!
The goal of the game is to shoot identically colored marbles to remove the string of marbles before it reaches the end of the line. You can click the Butterfly Marble shooter to swap the color of the next orb, but fair warning, the marble often changes colors unexpectedly, especially when the line does a reset with the next wave after certain powerups are initiated.
I was totally confused about the criteria for earning all 3 stars. I received 1 Star on level 4 and I hadn't yet gotten to the Timed Modes so the criteria wasn't based on time at that point, and I did get all the caterpillars to safety so I completed my level goal. I replayed the level again and still got the same result of only 1 Star, while still setting up massive Chain Reactions using strategy so it isn't based on Points either. This same scenario happened on level 15 which actually was a Timed level and I replayed that level 3 times, removing more orbs each time but still only earned 1 star??
As you progress, Powerups and Boosters are added to either the marbles or as a rechargeable Bomb that targets different orbs. Some orbs have fireworks, reverse the line, pause, slow motion, etc. to help you remove the marbles before they reach the end of the line at which point you'll lose.
Obstacle marbles such as Ropes, and Sponges, are added to the mixture (and the poor little crow just trying to raise a crow family) Some marbles will charge the boosters as well.
Once you have earned enough stars, you will purchase an abundance of repairs such as replacing the roof, fencing, or installing a new door. Again, what does this have to do with butterfly Marble Shooters?
I'm thinking this game was supposed to be a CE version because it has 14 Wallpapers, 14 Concept Art Pictures, 5 Music Soundtracks, 14 Achievements (which need to be "claimed" each time), and 123 levels.
I loved the Marble Popper levels, but it definitely needs a better explanation of how you earn all 3 stars. I hated the Timed levels because it seems impossible to get 3 stars...but mostly, the cartoon characters were a total turnoff and make the game seem more like a phone app.

Completed Game approximately 5.5 hours
(including completion of all mini-games & CE Bonus Chapter)
18 Scene Locations +7 CE Bonus Chapter
Difficulty Range: Beginner-Intermediate
Friendly Fox Rocks!
Never say never, no never, to a Never Land Pirate! Yo Ho, let's Go... on an adventure to save Never Land from a wicked curse brought on by Peter Pan Jr.'s very own shadow! You can never trust a shadow, especially when it's your own mischievous shadow who feels unloved!
Christmas Flight may not have your typical "Feel Good" Christmas Morals Message incorporated into the plot, but that's actually a good thing because it isn't limited to a one-month Christmas window, it can be enjoyed all year long. I say enjoyed because it IS a really enjoyable game with really good features. This game is way more enjoyable than any of the Domini games of late, it has a decent challenge and a plot that took some imagination to create which is more than Domini ever gives us with their cookie-cutter games! Try to look at this game from a NON-Christmas point of view, as just a regular fantasy game and I'm betting you will enjoy it as well!
Collectibles/Morphing Objects: (CE version only)
Each scene has 2 of those infamous 4Friends Opaque Collectibles that are really well-blended into the scenery and one of my personal favorite collectibles overall. (my all-time favorite CE feature are non-linear morphs from the original DP series)
There are 50 Opaque Pixies which unlocks a new Pixie under the Christmas Tree when you find 2-10-20-30-40-50 Opaque Pixies in the game.
Each scene also has two Morphing Christmas Stocking, some of which are very well-hidden and challenging to spot at first glance. Christmas Stockings are hung on your tree when you find 2-10-20-30-40-50 morphs within the game.
Once you complete the collections category it will unlock a Bonus Hidden Object Scene in a timed mode. There is an available pull-out Tab on the left side that tells you how many morphs & collectibles remain in each scene, a feature I for one appreciate.
Gadget/Helper:
Tinkerbelle has been replaced with a Pixie that looks like a cat mixed with a butterfly fairy. The pixie holds the key to lifting the curse because she can enchant a personal item that has meaning to the cursed victim. Once they hold the enchanted item, the good memories overwhelm them and the curse is lifted. Personally, I would have chosen a tiny real fairy with beautifully transparent wings, or at least made the cat pixie more adorable?? The Orange Pixie that is sitting on the floor under the Christmas Tree in the collectibles section is super adorable with his amazing bright green eyes that are slightly crossed...he/she would have been a much better choice!
Hidden Object Scenes:
There are 13 Hidden Object Scenes +9 in the CE Bonus Chapter many of which are smaller zoom zone types of HOs. Although some of the scenes are duplicated, the type of HO varies each time and some of the variations are challenging! There are Interactive List Finds, Silhouetted Shape Finds, Pictured Items that require dragging the object to the logical place in the scene, Direction-based HOs where you must figure out what item the description is hinting towards and then use that item interactively within the scene. There were also a few Swatch variations where you had to find a specific area that matched the swatch shown, a variation I've always enjoyed.
Mini-Games:
There are 32 Mini-Games +11 in the CE Bonus Chapter, some of which are more like a Hidden Object Scene than an actual puzzle. Friendly Fox always includes a repetitive puzzle at the end of each chapter which requires swapping puzzle strips and then adjusting them by dragging individual pieces up or down to complete the image. There's always a stationary piece on the left & right to use as a starting point. You will repeat this process with 3 different puzzles which will help to fill in the blanks by telling a brief story after each puzzle. I kind of enjoy these puzzles and it's a really good way to incorporate a story as told from the character's perspective.
Bonus Chapter: (CE version only)
The Bonus Chapter is a sequel divided into 3 mini-chapters that span 7 additional scene locations. (you can play the quests in any order) Peter Pan Junior and his friends are planning a Christmas party and have assigned each person with a party task. Fan has been tasked with creating Figurine Presents, Amelia is responsible for the party food, and Peter Pan Jr. is responsible for creating an ice skating rink for entertainment. There are 11 mini-games, and 9 Hidden Object Scenes in this Bonus Chapter and you will complete your Pixie Collection and Morphing Christmas Stockings (2 Morphing Stockings & 2 Pixies per scene)
Collector's Edition Version Extra's
6 Wallpapers, 17 Concept Art Pictures, 5 Screensavers, 6 Music Soundtracks, 33 Movie Video Cutscenes, 26 Achievements (some are available in 3 category progressions) 17 Replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 11 Replayable Mini-Games, 50 Opaque Pixies (2 per scene) 50 Morphing Christmas Stockings (2 per scene) 4 Main Chapters +Bonus Chapter and a Built-In Strategy Guide.
