I just finished the demo and I am going to buy this one! So much to do you can't get bored. First of all what beautiful graphics, even the dark scary scenes are well done. Everything about this game is different, most of the puzzles are new and challenging but you can skip them. The HO's are different, some of them list finds, some of them are a series of riddles that you must figure out what they mean then pick that item, and one of my favorite ones in the beginning was to find crows hidden in a gate. Great story, achievements and 60 faries to find!

That was the longest hour I spent playing a game, I just wasted an hour of my life! (yep it's that bad) Poor old style graphics, worst HO's and just a couple of puzzles that would indicate if that piece was placed correctly by lighting up. The hint system recharges within 10 seconds. Not enough to do and you will become bored quickly. You will collect random things throughout the game but have no idea where they go.

I agree this game doesn't have as good of a story as the other Grim Tales, but it's still a fantastic game. The graphics are very crisp and well detailed. You don't need to have played the other Grim Tales to understand this one but you are missing a great series of games if you don't. The hint system is good (nothing on hardcore# and there is a map that let's you travel to other locations as well as telling you what actions need done in those areas. There aren't very many HO's but they are somewhat interactive # touch a case to open) and well done. The puzzles are clever and some are a little tricky, but you can always skip them without penalties because there are no achievements or collectables in this version. The game is fairly long, you will find it hard to stop playing!
Eerie music fills the air in Vienna, where shadows terrorize people in the streets. Two musical prodigies have gone missing. Can you save them without striking a single false note?

Another great Maestro game. Great story, great music, great fun. The graphics and voiceovers are brilliant! There are no achievements but you do get to collect musical instruments. This isn't a hard game to play but it will captivate you. The HO's are a mixture of list finds as well as the interactive, sillioutted find an object such as a key, open a box and find the next item in that box etc. Most of the items you find throughout the game are easy to place or you will know what they are used for. Go ahead and buy this one, you'll love it.
When your daughter, Emily, is taken over by a mysterious force, you must travel to the Nightmare Realm to search for a cure. But nothing could have prepared you for what you find there…

I didn't play the first Nightmare Realm, and I still enjoyed this game. The HO's were interactive, (you had to dress up a doll to look like an idol etc,) I felt the puzzles were easy, there is a map that shows you where an action needs to be done but doesn't take you there you still have to go back and forth, however I think thats part of the game, figuring out and remembering where to go. Another good feature is that you get to collect 36 origami items throughout the game! Good graphics both nightmarish as well as beautiful make believe realms.
I recommend this game!

A fairytale with Thumbilina, a Prince, a scorned witch (of course) beautiful graphics with crispness and bright colors, puppies, kittens and strange creatures! What more could you want? There aren't enought HO's for my taste but they are well done and the puzzles do take a little time to work out but they aren't impossible. I did like the map feature that allowed you to travel to any of the explored area's quickly, but the hint system is vague. This game has a good story and an apparent sense of humor as Thumbilina comments on her adventure.

I liked this game! I love playing solitar and this one has several twists that keep your interest. The beginning tutorial has you play several hands to get you familar with the rules. Some cards are covered with barnicals, some underwater etc and you have to uncover "tool" cards to unlock some other cards. A lot of fun, I will probably buy this game.

Well it seems the towns undertaker made the devil a deal, and then didn't follow through on their arrangement to exchange the family heirloom mirror for money! So what's so special about this mirror? No spoiler alerts here! There aren't enough HO's for my taste, and they also have HO's that are silloutted items you must find one item then use that item to get to the next such as a hammer breaks a jar a key is inside that you use to open a chest and so on. The puzzles weren't too difficult although they do require a little time to work out. The graphics were okay but I thought some of the scenes were dark and hazy not crisp. The music is okay and during the HO's it tends to get louder. The hint system recharges quickly and you also get to "collect" fish scales but there aren't any achievements. Worth buying the standard edition, but the collectors didn't offer much more than this game.

I overlooked this game when it first came out, and I shouldn't have, it was a fun and relaxing game. Little Timmy starts to vanish (literally dissapating) right in front of his mother as he's telling her that a scientist is kidnapping him and pleads for her to find the crystals. So Mrs. Barton goes on a quest throughout the town to find these crystals and also the items that the townsfolk are missing. The hint system recharges quickly and will point to the direction and also the item that may be needed in that area. The HO's weren't too hard but in my opinion there could be more. The puzzles were easy to resolve and most of the puzzles solutions are kept in your journal. This game is worth buying.

This game has no HO's only search for... 6 symbols, or shapes find a diamond/heart/spade/club for example. This is a game with hazy dark graphics making it difficult to identify any of the objects, and you will travel through area after area without doing or finding anything. You get a toolbar on the side with a map that isn't very helpful and a journal as well. The hint button (which I used several times due to confusion of what to do next) is slow to recharge and the puzzles weren't difficult but not interesting either. The character is commenting, annoyingly, throught the game saying "it's locked, or I need to find the parts." I didn't like this game.
