A whodunit kind of story, A detective is hired by the woman whose husband was brutaly murdered, and she doesn't trust the police to investigate his death! So the dective (yourself) is given total control to search the house anywhere for clues. So you begin searching the house for clues, breaking into piggy banks for gold coins >to be used later in the store< using lockpicks on closed doors and collecting useful evidence as well as fans hidden throughout the game that earns you more hints! You quickly find out that the deceased husband Hugo, had been fooling around and the Mrs. wasn't to happy about Miss flamingo! All of a sudden, a strange man tries to drag off the grieving widow as he breaks statues and ladders and almost everything you yourself haven't broken. So whodunit?? You will recieve help along the way from Hugo's pet artic ferrel fox who is very cute. Very few Hidden Object Games, slightly intreactive, click in the door it opens up, etc. There are puzzles to solve such as reading music and playing the right notes, or exchanging puzzle pieces between two circular discs that you rotate back and forth to complete the picture. A good and entertaing game to play.
I recommend this game!

Age of Mahjong

Who dosen't like mahjong? This is a game that is fun and addicting! There is a story to go along with the game, the Emperors only son becomes sick and there is no cure, all the doctors have tried to make him well without success, until a strange looking man comes along with powers to make him well. This man accepts no payment in return so whats the catch??? The gameplay itself is pretty simple, the usual match two alike tiles until you reach the two golden tiles to win the hand. You will be rewarded to allow you to build your city with sawmills, wells etc. earning more for matching or beating the alloted time per game. There is a golden buddah for hints that must recharge after each use, a shuffle feature for when you have exhausted all moves and different earned features such as a tile for going back one move. There are a couple of annoying features, the music is aweful so I turned it off, and the characters bombard you one after the other in dialog boxes that just keep going and going when you just want to play the game not read an entire manuscript!

I wasn't prepared for anything spectacular in this game. and then the intro finished and the spooky gates of the profile page showed up and I thought maybe I was wrong, this could be decent. It was just okay for me, it wasn't a waste of time, but I don't want to buy it either. There are 2 modes: casual and expert the only difference is the time that the hint and skip buttons recharge. That brings me to the hint button, or lack thereof, you are on your own on that one. No stratagy guide, no map. There are a lot of HO's just about in every room slightly interactive, that brings me to another part of the game. I always try to use all features in the game to give my review and I selected to use the feature that shows you how to play the game. It's a good thing I know how to play because it only told me a couple of things to do, then I was on my own. The story itself was the same, brother and sister inheiret a mansion, they get there and a crazed lunatic nabs one of them. manical machines that need repaired etc, The puzzles were the usual turn the pipes to connect. Everything was typical and you pretty much know what everything will be used for.

Cute penguines, each with special abilities that you have to figure out what that ability is, bouncy music, colorful cartoon graphics and addictive match 3 (and hopefully more!) gameplay. Easy to lose track of time while playing, with 3 choices of match, classic match 3 of the same item, click and drag a chain of matching tiles or click on a group of tiles. Earn bombs and tools to help you clear a path! Enjoy!!

This game is addictive! Heros is a game that is very similar to the Cradel series which I love. There are a couple of nice features, you get 3 options of match 3 such as the classic match at least 3 to click and drag a series of matches that are next in line. There is also 2 play modes, relaxed and timed. The music however is repetitive and annoying. You will earn gold to build a town helping the phesants along the way. As the game progresses you will complete the main section by dropping a key to the bottom of the board which will unlock another section of the board. You will collect axes, bombs, bows etc. along the way to help destroy the blocks. Have fun!

I bought this game a while back but just got aroung to playing it, and I liked it. Even though the graphics are much better in recent times, they are still done really well, the cutscenes are are brief and just okay. I must admit that I was challenged quite a few times as to where to go or what to do, and found myself traveling back and fourth, building to building, room to room searching for something I missed, but that's kind of what I like about the games. There isn't a map for traveling and the hint system is worthless, showing you only what the solution would look like, not where to go, and if you skip a puzzle it will add time to your overall game finish time but since there aren't any achievements who cares? The game was old school but still a good game to play.

I am a big fan of morphing objects and I enjoyed this game mostly because of the beyond objects as well as available achievements for not skipping mini games and not using the hint button during HO's! Pedro finds an ancient artifact (seems to be a lot of those lately) and three evil sisters of air/water/fire kill him, but he has already given the artifact to his sister to protect. You will work with her to protect the artifact as you uncover secret rooms and search the town. This game has a journal to record clues you uncover, and a map for traveling, but doesn't show what tasks are available. The HO's are interactive, you pick up the spoon and scoop a gem out of a skeletons eye, etc. and the items are pretty easy to find. The puzzles weren't to time consuming, nothing new, but they were enjoyable such as picking up a puzzle piece, rotating by right clicking and placing the piece in it's correct position. The graphics are well done and the cutscenes are movie quality, the developers paid attention to the details with the exception of a barrel marked "water" in Spain. I think there are enough activities in this game to keep a gamer of any expertese, beginner-expert, occupied and having fun.

Has potential, but kind of slow moving! If you like a lot of HO's then this is the game for you because there are a ton of them. Not to many puzzles and they were nothing new, jump the red jewels over the green jewels to switch sides, or click on hex stones to trap the rat from escaping. The storyline was good but after an hour demo the only thing I did was wash out my cuts from a car accident and I followed a ghost into the forest! It's a good game, the graphics are okay, but you don't have to put much thought into the game you will know what to pick up, where to use that item and how to use that item.

This game has a lot of activities throughout, although collectables and achievements are only available in the collecters edition. There are a ton of puzzles and most of them are simple, such as placing tokens where they belong beginning with man on the ground, a kite in the sky all the way up to the moon. There aren't a lot of HO's but they are interactive and some of the items will be used from your inventory to complete the HO scene such as there will be a vase in the HO scene and you will have to click on your inventory list to retrieve the rose you collected elsewhere in the game then place the rose in the vase. There is an excellent hint system that tells you what and where to use items or where to go to find that item. You will also have a map with tasks. There are many things to do and almost everything you find will be easy to figure out what to do with it and most items are used fairly quickly and within one or two areas. If you like the collectables:flowers in this game, or achievements go for the CE if not this SE is an excellent choice.

I am a big fan of the Hallowed Legends series and this one might even top the list! What's not to like, scary eerie scenery, creepy music, hidden goblins and zombies all in the same game! There are 22 hidden goblins throughout the game and they have done a nice job hiding them. There are achievements for not using the hint button during HO's, not skipping puzzles, and finding different items in the game and more. The HO's are interactive such as picking up the cheese and placing it on the mousetrap, and they have done a super job of blending the hidden objects without making the items fuzzy or to dark. I liked the puzzles because they were easy to do and fun such as rotating a wheel full of colored marbles to have 3 of one color touch each other to remove those marbles. There are also subtle clues of numbers or pictures in some of the areas that will be used later in the game, but don't worry it is written in your journal. There is a map that allows you to travel between locations and has photos of each area you have explored and the photo is in color if you have a task to do in that area otherwise the photo is a brownish color. You meet a crow with glasses that is the towns historian and fills you in on details during the game about an exploration team that unearths an ancient book with great powers. When your plane crashed outside a cursed town where an evil woman was stealing the townspeople's souls and leaving behind zombie skeletons, your friend was injured and this mysterious woman took his soul as well. Now it is up to you to save him and the town before it's too late!
